A Heritage Transport museum which includes buses, cars, vans, trams, trolleybuses, a narrow gauge railway and a 'Tar, Sweat and Steam' building displaying the history of roadbuilding. Enjoy unlimited rides on vintage buses, trams, trolleybuses and narrow gauge railway all included in the entry price. There are many examples of vintage street furniture, a cafe, well stocked shop and free car parking. The museum is well served by public transport with half hourly services from Lowestoft & Norwich (X22) (Mon-Sat, 2 hourly on Sun) and from Kessingland, Norwich & Southwold (146) half hourly AM and Hourly PM, Mon-Sat, all stopping right outside the museum.

The fun starts here at Pleasurewood Hills, with over 35 rides, shows and attractions there is something for all the family to enjoy. Youngsters will have a fantastic time exploring fun rides suitable for children around one metre tall, while our family friendly rides are the perfect introduction to the theme park world. If you prefer a more extreme day out, there’s a choice of thrill rides including Wipeout – the region’s most extreme roller coaster, the Jolly Roger, and the much loved Cannonball Express. If the thought of rides turns your stomach there’s plenty to keep you occupied too. Hop on and off the two trains as many times as you like, enjoy a birds’ eye view of the park from the chairlift and take a seat to enjoy the spectacular sea lion and parrot displays. Carlton Marshes lies in the Waveney Valley at the southern tip of the Norfolk Broads. This Suffolk Wildlife Trust nature reserve is a mosaic of marshland habitats and supports a wide variety of wildlife including marsh harrier, water vole and fen raft spider. The Visitor Centre is open 10-4, including our cafe and shop facilities. Toilets are open until 5:30. *Subject to seasonal change*

The Marina Theatre, located in Lowestoft, Suffolk, has a mixture of live entertainment and great cinema. It is at the cultural heart of the community.

The Museum is housed inside Broad House, a grade 2 listed building dating from 1685, in the grounds of Nicholas Everitt Park. Lowestoft Museum collects, preserves and displays objects relating to the history of the area and its people, and promotes awareness and interest in our rich heritage.
