We decided to have a staycation here on Mother's Day. The resort itself was pretty quiet. Probably due to the pandemic, there's not much guests around. Our room accommodated 2 large beds; was a good size for 2 adults and 1 child of 11 years old. Room was nicely decorated and comfortable; no frills. Our patio oversees the pool side and ocean side. The room itself is clean, complete with amenities we need. The bathroom is a good size that has a shower with strong water pressure; toilet flushes well. That's always important to me. Staff at front desk was friendly. The rest seems non-existence. Perhaps because downsizing due to Covid? It didn't matter to us much as we are pretty much a laid back, self sufficient travelers. Just thought I'd mention it for other's expectations. The pool side was fun and clean. Despite their lack of staffing, they did provide life guard all throughout the day which is awesome. Safety first. A plus to me.

Due to the Covid Pandemic, their hotel was limited in staffing (maybe?) and dining or food experience. No room service. The restaurants are open only during meal times (lunch and dinner) so if you want snacks or sandwiches in between, you'll have to either buy it outside or buy snacks at their little shop on the first floor.

Overall, an average stay for us. It was fun and relaxing. However, I gave an extra star for their safety protocol and priority.

This is a lovely hotel with awesome staff. Everyone is kind and helpful. I believe it used to be a honymoon hotel but the rooms are great...kind of like treehouse suites. The buffet breakfast has quite a variety of choices from Asian to American fare with chefs ready to cook your eggs as you like. The sunsets were amazing.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the lobby is tastefully decorated. We had a room on the second floor of building 4. It had an ocean and a pool view. The bathroom was spacious, had a deep soaker tub, great lighting and every toiletry I could ever need. We were only able to get a room with 2 beds but it worked out fine. The beds were small and really not made for two American sized bodies. They seemed to be full size or smaller. The bedding and decor was nice. I especially liked the cathedral wooden ceilings with a ceiling fan. I liked the location since it was close to Garapan but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. They do have a shuttle if you do not have a rental car. The internet was a little slow, but fine for an island out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. We will definitely stay here again. They are renovating the rooms and should be done with the last of them in. December.

Nice view from the swimming pool. The bar is nice. Good food and rooms maybe a little old but still nice view. Lots of bugs but they said because we live in an island so it is normal. Staff are okay. Some are nice some looked like not very friendly. We stayed here as a group so it was okay for first time. I think this place is better for couples especially when they want to be far and private from the city.

I was surprised by how inflexible the hotel is.
The hotel only provides 2 bottles of mineral water regardless of how long your stay is. Am I staying at a motel? I thought that was ridiculous, given how much were paying per night.
Also when we wanted to eat lunch instead of breakfast, the hotel didn't allow us because the coupon was only applicable for breakfast. No offense, but the hotel′s restaurant is not packed. Plus the lunch buffet is cheaper than the breakfast hotel. Had a hard time to understand their logic.
This hotel needs to learn what hospitality is from a better hotel operator.

I have been here for 4 hours and I want to go home! What a huge disappointment. I stayed here about 7 years ago and It was good, oh how times have changed. The rooms are dated and shabby. The beds are tiny and hard as a stone slab. The food at the restaurant is horrible.
I asked if the two single beds could be pushed together (my husband could not fit in one) and I was met with a blank stare. Then I asked for a bed for my 5 year old and they said no, they only had cribs. I asked where he was supposed to sleep and they said with us! Finally they offered us a cot at 57.00 a night extra...which I paid gladly so he would not have to sleep on the floor. I should say my 5 year old got the best part of the deal...the cot is newer and more comfortable than the bed.
The staff are quick with a hollow "Im sorry" accompanied with a plastic smile but no help at all. My recomendation is to bypass this hotel. Its not a vacation its an aggervation. Now I am off to the pool bar to wait 10 minutes to get a cocktail...God, I cant wait to get home.

ok, so we choose this hotel for the previous reviews here on tripadvisor and because they gave us a huge military discount, but i honestly have to say that although it looks nice and the outside is well kept, the room itself was old, smelly with 2 tiny beds for 4 people and we felt like they had giving us the worst room in the hotel , we were the only western guest of probably 8 in the hotel and therefor nothing was in english.
no maps, the lady at the local travel desk spoke just enough english to tell us that there was one english brochure and we couldnt keep it because well it was her only one.
when we first arrived the first sign we saw was a do not play here sign, and well we traveled with an very active 3 and 7 year old.
we did take a tour to managha islad wich was fantastic, but yet again it was all in japanese and we couldnt communicate with anyone really, the resort there overcharges on everything.
to make a long story short, saipan is really not worth visiting and i guess although the hotel was okay we werent there priority visitors.
saipan is largly run down and the we actually took an early flight back to guam ,
since there is really nothing to do.
all the sights u can see in one day

When i travel to Saipan i know what i am getting before even going cause i lived there before. I know all about the island style and how laid back people are so.. this said i like to stay at Aqua cause they seem to want me to come back. Its not cheap to stay so i expect alot and i was upgraded to oceanview which is ok for me cause i dont spend alot of time in my room anyway. The rooms are not new but again as long as i have an air-con that works and a bed that is a little comfortable and hot water to take a shower i am cool.

The lobby is great and open and inviting.. i really like that and i like how the bungalow style of bobbing and weaving through the garden and stairs to get to your room. I never stay close to the pool cause i know its going to be loud and noisy and i like to enjoy peace and quite when its time to sleep and i like to sleep in..

I thought the pool was nice and it was clean and not crowded and we used a floatation device and enjoyed swimming at the pool to cool down.

We had breakfast included and it was a cheaper price and that is good cause i am allerigic to pork its really hard to find items that dont have pork in them or cooked with the bacon fat.. The breakfast was ok and the restaurant looks worn down and the buffet dishes are really old and tarnished.

We had lunch one day at the restaurant and i thought it was expensive for the choices and there was a huge group in for lunch which made the buffet crowded and noisy so i didnt enjoy. Food was ok at best. For the price i would go elsewhere..

I wanted to go to the Spa for a massage but it was either too expensive or fully booked so that was a disappointment.. I think that there was a local package promotion so we never got a chance to even get in...

All in all if you go there looking for a place to sleep and relax its perfect for you.. have an open mind and understand that things are not new anywhere.

When we made the reservation, it was suppose to be a very good hotel so we had some expectations but not sky high. First of all, the hotel doesnt take guests to and from the airport, so dont expect that. Although their webpage said that all their rooms have a oceanview, our room was ofcourse with a view of a boring field and could see nothing of the ocean. Eager to see the beautiful beach, again struck by disappointment as there was no beach but just sharp rocks. In our room the toilet door was broken and didnt close properly, problems with shower, too. Overall the hotel felt a bit old with and run down. To go on, wireless internet reception in our room was close to zero. I called the staff and there was nothing they could do about it. During the week, when i asked for directions, food etc, sometime I would be answered "I dont know" , very surprising and I was a bit shocked. Later I understood that reception staff are NOT professionals but management students who are sometimes lacking motivation or service skills. We consistently i felt that persons working at the hotel was unmotivated and not service minded at all. To make matters worse, the breakfast was the biggest low point. It is not included and a continental breakfast will cost $20. For that price you get close to nothing, one of the smallest buffees ever. I got the feeling they have a strategy to not refill empty items until someone ask for it to save money. As some one else wrote ( i should have taken his advice) they only give two bottles of water for the entire week, ridiculous. Restaurants etc are also a long bus ride away. Lots of complaints, and I will never use this hotel again.

This hotel was perfect for our "family of five" Saipan Christmas vacation. We had a really wonderful time. The hotel ocean view and beach was breathtaking -- especially at sunset. Each and everyone of the staff was very pleasant and accommodating to our requests. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant cuisine is very, very good. The pool area was well kept and extremely clean. Everyday the pool area bar has a fantastic happy hour with half-price tropical drinks and smoothies -- In fact, you can swim in the pool right up to the bar! I recommend the "Saipana" tropical frozen drink -- it was coconut-awesome! I also recommend the fish sandwich/burger if you want some great pool-bar food for lunch or a light dinner. The resort concierge was highly professional, even obtaining discounts for us for several local tours. The resort spa was reasonably priced and utterly relaxing. In my view, this is a hotel for people who want luxury accommodations and do not want the hustle and bustle of larger hotels which might tend to primarily cater to families with smaller children. The rooms were surrounded by gardens and palm trees. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay at a serene luxury resort and be highly pampered and waited on by an exceedingly helpful and pleasing staff. By the end of our stay, it appeared that everyone of the staff knew us! The resort gave us chocolate mints in our room every evening, and even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne for our Christmas brunch and a complimentary bottle of wine the night before we checked out -- what thoughtful gestures! This resort is, simply put, 5 thumbs ups!
