My family went to Prestwood cottages about 2 weeks ago, and Wendy, the owner, was super nice to us. The area is very beautiful, and if you're lucky, you'll get to see the sunset every evening. The only downside of our trip was that the toilet would sometimes get clogged up because other people were using them. The nearby lake is very clean, which is good. There's also a campfire, and you don't really need to bring any forks or spoons. The thing that I enjoyed the most were the beds. They were SUPER comfy!

Family of 5 for the last long weekend of the summer. We enjoyed it. Fire pit, fishing, tubing & just pretty much quiet place. We had good WI-FI reception which was a bonus in the eve for kids. Very nice place place to get away from all the commotion. Wendy was a very a nice & attentive hostess. Thank for good, peaceful & attentive stay.

We booked this cottage through booking.com and it seems great. But when we arrivee we found out that the spot was great, but the cottage was very old and dated. The shower was not good , the beds are terrible. The people who owned it were very friendly but because of there Age not able anymore to take care of such a place. The lake was beautifull and you can swim or take a canoe or rent a small moterboat.

Great location and the owners are very nice people. However we found the cottage we where in to be very outdated i.e. very old furniture, the couch had an unpleasant odor, the washroom was on a slant so the water in the tub wouldn't all drain out, thus had a major water stain in the tub. The pots and pans where in very poor condition (most of the fry pans where rusty). Lake End cottages next door would have been a much wiser choice. We would never return here and would highly recommend to go elsewhere. It was absolutely robbery for the price we paid.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Pictures are very misleading! There is absolutely no swimming resort because of all the weeds. All the cottages do not have a view of the water as they are covered by evergreen trees. All the cottages are not well kept at all nor are the grounds of Prestwood. They advertise that they are "Pet Friendly" and love animals however upon arrival at Prestwood our small dog was whining to get out of the car after a long car ride and the first thing out of the owners mouth was "If your dog barks at all we can't have that here". He is a dog, last time I checked dogs may bark here and there!! DO NOT advertise "pet friendly" then. The owners were not friendly, very strange and unenthusiastic! Seemed to not care about there business or any of the guests. If your looking for a cottage gateway look anywhere but here!! Disgusting cottages and water. DO NOT GO HERE or you will be very disappointed! Horrible!
