Alexandra Heights Motel is an easy walk to the supermarket, shops, cafés, restaurants and is the closest motel to most of the sports facilities, such as the BMX track, aquatic Centre, ice skating rink, squash court, Molineux Stadium and Alexandra golf course. The Motel is handy to the Rail Trail and has secure bike storage available. Free on site overnight garaging of your motor bike or classic car may also be available. Enjoy sitting on our balcony (studio units) taking in the great view of the surrounding hills. Visit us for your Central Otago getaway and enjoy the mountain views from your spacious and comfortable unit. Alexandra enjoys a central location to many other facilities in Central Otago. Remarkable, Cadorna, Coronet Peak and Treble Cone ski fields all being within easy drive. The Central Otago Rail Trail is just up the road. Great shopping and cafes in town. Awesome access to the Clutha River for boating. Walking tracks. 4WD tracks

The hostess'was very helpful and caring,the room had plenty of space and was cleanand warm. The hostess came out evernight to place towels on the windscreen to help with the iceand made sure the rooms where warm for arriving back from a day out. So thoughtful.

Our room was lovely and clean. There was a large and comfortable bed. The room was spacious. The hostess friendly. It is situated on a busy road but with windows closed we had a quiet night. There are eating places about a 10-20min walk away.

Well looked after by Nicola, great location, very clean and tidy.
Within close walking distance to town. Host was very accommodating at such a busy time of year.
Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to stay in beautiful Central Orago.

Host seemed a little surly, it was like my checking in was an inconvenience!
Our room was nice, bed comfortable and the shower was good.
It’s on the main road so keep your windows closed at night. Closed windows definitely negates the road noise which is good.
Sky TV is great. We weren’t there to watch TV but it was a comfortable place to relax at the end of a busy day.

When we first walked into our room we were very impressed...very nicely appointed, large, clean....what else could someone want? Well....a decent night's sleep for one thing. The bed we had was absolutely the worst one we had during our three weeks in New Zealand and brought this property down from what could have been a '5' to a '1'. The bed was so bad that even if my wife and I tried to sleep on our sides on opposite sides of the bed we would just roll into the giant divot in this piece of [--] mattress. Had a TERRIBLE night's sleep and we were both totally bagged the next day as a result.

Very friendly owner gets our arrival off to a good start. The 2 bedroom room was clean and functional (rather than luxurious) with a full sized operational kitchen. The whole set up was quite spacious with a lounge, couches and a kitchen table. Bathroom with shower only. Free (limited) wifi. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Even with the hotel full we didn't suffer from noise leakage from other rooms. Bed comfort adequate. Car parking directly in front of room. Room price reasonable.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom unit. Beautifully presented and very well equipped. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. On this trip, we are picking some excellent accommodation, especially with the help of the reviews in Tripadvisor. I would definitely stay here again

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite - owner/manager very obliging and helpful - temperature got down to -6 degrees Celsius or less and a towel had been placed on the car windscreen to prevent frost forming overnight - room cosy from heating plenty of room - free wi-fi. Easy walking distance to hotel around the corner for a meal.

We stayed here in May 15 for one night (would of been 2 nights but they were booked out), the unit was spacious, clean and very comfortable.
The owners were very friendly and helpful.We would definately consider staying again next time we are in Alexandra.

Loved this motel. Was windy day and we were on second level so had to watch the door didnt take off when we opened it but the room was fantastic. Great TV reception for sport. Plenty of room to move around in. Good tidy and clean unit. Will be back.
