Overall pleasant stay - location was fantastic and the rooms were clean and a generous size.
The only things to note were that the cutlery, dishes, cups and mugs were stashed in the dishwasher. This wasn’t advised upon checking in and only later on did we find this out. I called downstairs for mugs and they brought up paper cups and advised because of covid this is what they could offer. They had tea and coffee to which I stirred in my paper cup with a corkscrew. Housekeeping did fetch us wine glasses when we checked in and still didn’t mention we could find these in the dishwasher. Fed up with this on the final night and contradictory to having wine glasses on hand I called downstairs again for a mug and spoon to stir my tea, the receptionist advised me to open the dishwasher. Low and behold, all kitchen contents were stored away in there. This would have been handy to note at the time of check in. Only afterwards did we find a tiny information stand advising of this.
Also, we spent the Saturday by the lovely pool to escape the blistering heat. We were later joined by noisy children who proceeded to take up the entire pool and throw a gridiron football and pool weights from one end to the other. I know this isn’t the hotels problem but it certainly posed a safety issue for guests, particularly when my mother’s foot was struck by a pool weight and even smaller children sharing the pool and narrowly avoiding being struck by the football. I also should note for future guests that I was chatting to a women with a large family in the pool area and she mentioned she was from Sydney and they come to Bondi and get a day pass to use the hotels facilities. I find this particularly strange as the hotel was at full capacity, it was an unusually hot weekend and they should really be giving preference to the hits guests..

We recently stayed at the Adina Bondi beach. There are many pros like brilliant location, very lovely staff, nice pool area. The 2 bedroom apartment had good size bedrooms, 2 good bathrooms and a nice kitchen area. We also loved the security of the hotel and felt very safe here.
The cons for me are the state of the room and some areas outside. While it’s actually quite a trendy hotel in many ways it’s really starting to look quite tired in parts.
The chair coverings in our living were very stained and looked like they need professional cleaning. The sofa was a sofa bed and terribly uncomfortable to sit on and again looked dirty. I don’t understand the people who have written how clean their room was, maybe they were in a renovated room?!
Our room looked like it needed a coat of paint on most of the walls, furniture to be prof cleaned and please just give the room a good scrub!!
There was much that was good but when you pay top dollar to stay here in summer it would’ve been nice to feel like the room was worthy of it.
Outside also is looking shabby and just needs a lick of paint. See photos.
For the price Adina needs to lift their game here!! Not sure I’d stay here again.

This is the first time I have stayed at Adina Bondi where a walk to Bondi Beach is just minutes down Hall Street to the beach.
Coastal walks can take you to Tamarama, Bronte, Clovelly and further on to Coogee Beach.
The staff were fabulous, but one lass was very confused and wasn't paying attention whereby I had to repeat my request a few times. She was on automatic pilot moreover, it wasn't a busy period during COVID.
The location is terrific, and the entrance lounge with the small pool and change rooms close by were welcoming. There are lifts, moreover I enjoyed my quiet single studio which had everything I needed.
It was cleaned well and had a fridge, safe, ironing board, TV, bathroom products and a place to do simple cooking. There was no washer/dryer in the studio or anywhere to do washing within the building unless one had booked the larger apartments. Apparently, parking is close by, but in this case, I didn't need it. The Adina's can be pricey, so it's worth looking out for seasonal deals and booking ahead.
The weekends can be noisy in corridors with people returning drunk from functions and not respecting other's people need for quiet or privacy. The groups congregated in corridors talking loudly instead of going into one of their rooms.
I had to shower and change for my flight, with my suitcase, in the disabled shower room whereby two drains flooded, but I reported this.

Unfortunately we had recommended Adina at Bondi because of its excellent location and the fact that we had stayed at Adina at other locations including Berlin and were very happy. We were unbelievably disgusted and embarassed when we arrived there with our colleagues. The rooms were incredibly tiny where 2 people couldn't pass each other in the tiny hallway easily. It was not clean and the service was far below par for the room rates $370 per night they charged. I would recommend that at these rates quests can stay in 5 star hotels with large rooms in the city and commute to Bondi Beach by taxi or Uber. They would get far superior accommodation and save money at the same time.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon trip in NSW.
The hotel was fantastic. House keeping came literally every day to make our room and change our towels, the location is superb and is walking distance from the beach and strip of shops/cafes.
Staff are incredibly friendly and front desk never ceases to say “good morning” each time you leave the premises.
The pool and spa are also well kept and we enjoyed the fact that they are undercover which means you can still have a swim or spa when the weather is not at its finest.
I definitely recommend staying here, and would return if we were to come stay in Bondi again!

The accommodation was great but with a few issues:
- We got the worst WiFi following the instructions on the room key wallet, until we complained, then we got the decent and workable one. Complaining shouldn't be necessary to get something as basic as workable WiFi at a hotel like this.
- The room cleaning was great the first two days, then there was always something overlooked, be that the dishwasher was not set, or there were no soaps left, or there was sand on a table.
- At check out they wanted to charge me for an extra bed that was already paid for. Then I was asked if I kept the parking ticket issued when we first arrived (nobody told us to keep it!) so I was given a room card to exit the parking garage. I dared ask if there was anywhere I could leave the card after existing or if I should keep it and the answer was "keep it, I guess" with an annoyed tone, as if these cards were too precious to lose one for the benefit of a happy customer. This is not the last impression one should leave a hotel with. It's bad for word of mouth and for the personal experience as well. Was that the hotel manager who said that? Hmmm...

Very clean room and good COVID protocols were observed - cutlery, remote control etc in separate sealed bags. Great location and shops and cafes under hotel. Under staffed front desk caused delays, loud guests arrived back at all hours.

I’ve stayed at the hotel 3 times in the past few months and appreciate the friendly staff at reception and clean and tidy and modern rooms. The location is the best part being only a 5 min walk to get your feet wet at the beach or the surrounding cafes. The have underground parking if you have a car with you which helps and easy street parking if you are only staying the night. Pool is okay but not a place you would go to get some sun. That’s what the beach is for right?
Looking forward to my next visit.

We loved the space, configuration, utilities and ambiance of the modern, fresh, comfortable one bedroom apartment with kitchen and washing machine and dryer. The location among the restaurants and cafes of Hall St and just around the corner from the fabulous Bondi Beach was really fun and convenient. We stayed in early June so the fitness centre was closed but the pool was open although it was too cold to entice us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for three days as we road tripped from Melbourne to the north coast of NSW, and we intend to stay there again on our way back!
Thanks to the reception team for the complimentary parking and lending me the fitball! See you again soon!
