Detailed Reviews
What do you want? Comfort, location, and value for money? This is the place!
Booked for my small family, a 70 year old, his daughter, and 5 year old granddaughter. We chose the resort as it is snow sure, fantastic for a 5 year olds first trip.
Chalet Bernard was superbly located, snug and cosy comfortable rooms ( better than any modern tiny studio type standard fayre Alps accommodation )
Spotless, with a good decent breakfast, a sauna, and a ski cabin, and in our case adjacent parking ( limited and not promised)
200 metres from everything a great holiday needs ( all on the flat, with no steep hills to negotiate except the brilliant spa/pool centre down the road). The ski centre, the bars, and the restaurants, and the shops and supermarket are all just there!
Don’t be put off by the exterior, this is a lovely place to stay.

The location is excellent for visiting the center and for the ski slopes as you just need to cross the road and you are at the ski lifts!
Small room but warm and clean!
Owner kind and available for any eventuality.
Cozy and recommended chalet

The rooms are cosy and warm, the owner is very kind and helpful, the breakfast has everything you need. Free teas and coffees all day round. We stayed here in half term in February. It was busy but not crowdy.

Hotel well located but poor service, Hotel to avoid!!!
Family stay 2 adults 2 children from December 20 to 24. This hotel is well located in the city center close to the slopes and ski school.
However, the welcome, the cleanliness, the quality of the breakfasts really leave something to be desired and lack of attention.
Room layout requiring renovation.
Feeling of lack of consideration for customers.

Friendly reception. Room on the first floor. Small is beautiful. Sanitary facilities a bit (too) dated.
Extensive breakfast with both sweet and savory toppings and viennoiserie.
Just a few steps to the ski lift. Car parked in front of the door. Excellent location.

I spent 6 days in Chalet St Bernard with my 6 years old daughter at the end of december.
The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Montgenevre. It's a simple kind of hotel altough the triple rooms are big enough and comfortable. Ski facilities are at walking distance. The hotel manager is extremely kind, attentive, helpful. He alone provides a 5 stars hotel service.

A fantastic location, superb little hotel, excellently hosted. My son and I stayed here in half term and could not have been happier. Try and have a room that overlooks the slopes. Near to the lifts and various restaurants. A must stay!!

Small rooms, basic toilets and showers. Friendliest staff and nice common room. Excellent breakfast and good location. A place to relax and enjoy the nice town of Montgenevre no matter whether you visit summer or winter.

We have stayed here twice and I cannot fault it. We had two rooms for February half-term and once again, we were very impressed with Chalet Saint Bernard. Antione is a fantastic host offering comfortable rooms and a fabulous breakfast. I was reluctant to leave a glowing review for fear of not being able to book for next year but we got in the quick so we're safe. The location is excellent for skiing, it takes just a few minutes to walk to ski school. Lifts, restaurants and all required local amenities are very close-by.
