Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. Best of all, as much as they stated that internet is only available in the lobby, we find very good internet reception in rooms 501 (right next to the lobby, and 504 (3 rooms further away). In addition, it was fast, and allowed us to send photos immediately.

As the many reviews said, Luna Salada is built using salt. There was salt everywhere. I liked that as novelty, but after a while, did find it annoying, especially when one had to drag luggage over them. Other then that, the rooms were comfortable, though shower did take a minute or two to get the hot water. The amount of water was also quite weak.

The staff was very attentive and bent over backward to serve us. Overall, really enjoyed it.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 days and it was an amazing experience! I love the design of the hotel and it feels really cozy there. But the most impressive part was the tour they origanized for us. They gave us everything we need like bicycles, shoes, water and even prepared wine for sunset. The driver was very patient and he was waiting for us at every location when we finish to make a pictures 🙈😃 So we had absolutely unforgettable experience, I hope we will come back there again!

Excellent and safe experience! We stayed here for 3 nights in December 2020 and could not have asked for better service from staff and guides. All bio-security measures were strictly followed, the quality of the restaurant and meals were fantastic, and Juan at the reception desk at incredibly helpful to any request or question we had.

The hotel itself is probably the best choice in all the Salar. Situated on a high bluff overlooking the salt flats, one has a great view of the entire area with many outdoor observatories to watch a sunset and many nooks inside to enjoy their wood fireplaces.

We had Demetrio as a tour guide from the hotel for the full traditional day trip to the train graveyard, Salar stops including Isla Incahuasi, and finally wine and cheese to take in the Salar sunset. Very knowledge, kind, and great a taking perfect photos!

Highly recommend to all, great stay with great staff. Make sure to bring warm clothes and ask for the rooms with a view.

We had come from a very rustic hotel in the far southwest of Bolivia and so this hotel was quite a welcome change. The rooms are modern and clean and toasty warm. The bathrooms were spotless and functional. There are a lot of staff working constantly around the property cleaning, stoking the many, many wood stoves that keep the common areas warm and charming. The food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner is a buffet. Nothing special, but certainly edible. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is beautiful with stunning views of the salt plains. The rooms are very comfortable and there is adequate heating (bathrooms are cold as no heating there) but unusually no complimentary water and nowhere to hang a jacket. The food whether buffet or a la carte was extremely mediocre for a property of this calibre and normally luke warm at best. Breakfast and lunch were therefore perfunctory affairs for us. We did have some of our own wine with us and we got a couple of glasses from the bar and enjoyed our wine and the views in the common areas of the hotel. Much better experience! We enjoyed the ambience of the hotel hence the rating, without that likely an average rating.

This is a great hotel resort right at the beginning of Salar de Uyuni. The hotel is located about 30 mins from Uyuni town / Uyuni Airport. The rooms are very nice and spacious, with beautiful bathroom. The inside of the hotel is beautiful! Every room and hotel area is nicely set, with multiple places to sit and hang out around a firepit, game room, bar and restaurant and spa. The outdoor deck is beautiful as well. You can see the Salt Flat from your room/restaurant windows. The breakfast has a great selection. Wifi is fast and works great all around the hotel. The hotel offers $12 hotel shuttle per person.

When evaluating this hotel, you need to keep things in perspective, as the property is located in a remote area. How they pull this off with great service and accommodations is a miracle. The lobby is intimate and inviting and is very reflective of the local culture and environment. The staff is charming and very responsive to every need. The rooms are small, but very comfortable. The only minor complaint is the minimal water pressure in the shower. One morning, there was no water pressure at all, but this was quickly addressed by management. The water supply had been turned off due to the cold temperature outside to prevent freezing of the pipes.

Hotel has a lovely design and nice rooms but the food is terrible. We originally had the buffet dinner booked which was suddenly not available and we needed to eat a la carte which was not reflecting the price we paid and the food was not tasty at all. If you stay don’t book the dinner, we felt like they totally ripped us off with paying premium for buffet dinner and having a bad starter main and desert!

My friends and I had planned this trip for a while now, we had to visit the salt flats, it was in our bucket list. The best decision we made from our trip is staying in the Hotel de Sal Luna Salada. Apart from the amazing experience from the tours, we were able to stay in such an outstanding hotel. The balcony with star like lights would add to the amazing view from the hotel, the food was always exquisite, the rooms and the decoration of the hotel was a perfect combination of the salt flat vibe with some Bolivian taste. When arriving to the hotel one of my friends was feeling a bit sick because of the altitude, but with the help of the staff, they helped tremendously, and he was able to feel better in such short time, they would also always be there for helping in anything we needed.
It was an amazing experience and I would love to go back again with my family, this time to show them the incredible experience I had.

We stayed at the Luna Salada for 1.5 days and 2 nights. The half day we spent relaxing--enjoying the spa and massage opportunity, drinks outside on the patio, reading in the small salons lining the hallway. It was perfect. The unique ambiance of being inside a salt hotel along with the vistas outside the window really made the day unforgettable.

The next day we went on the tour offered by the hotel. We were gone from 9 am to 7pm with only a break for an (included) lunch. The tour was outstanding, with or guide Demetrio being one of the best guides I've had. Vising the salt flats is not to be missed.

The hotel itself is beautiful, so tastefully designed. The hallways were cold but the rooms and the salons where fires were lit were fine. Our room overlooked the flats and was very beautiful.

Breakfast was great, the rest of the food was only so-so but the food is not the reason to go here! Front desk (Allen) was also great, very helpful in arranging whatever we needed. Transportation to and from the airport was seamless.

Hi, We stay for 2 nights, we were traveling with a group and the schedule was pre decided by the tour organizers. the salar is a site worth allocating a full day (and night). It was a great experience, The hotel is magnificent, and provide very good facility. It was a great experience to have breakfast when from the large windows the salar is spread all over, we even have visit of vicunas which were looking for food near the hotel. At evening it was great to sit in their outside porch and enjoy the moon light over the white plains of the salar. Yes, probably cost is a great factor, but you only live once! Whatever you decide, have FUN!
