We were impressed by the beautiful nature, the resort is located in-between majestic palm trees and the corral reef barrier, we were also impressed by the amenities, quality services and by the very professional employees ! It is also very conveniently located in-between so may beautiful landmarks / touristic attractions. We stayed there six nights, we had a car rented from Recife Airport and we visited as follows: Praia de Antunes, Praia do Marceneiro, also, we had three boat trips: Praia de Sao Miguel dos Milagres natural swimming pools, Croa de Sao Bento and Piscina Naturais de Maragogi. Simply amazing !

Amazing resort! I was looking for a place to relax and this resort provided me with everything I was looking for. Good food, good drinks and a lot of activities. I definitely recommend it! They have shows and activities the whole day, so it is impossible to get bored there!

Excellent Resort, really all inclusive! Food is great, drinks are good, many brends of beer to choose from, draft beer, local wine and sparkingling wine as well. It is really all inclusive, so no surprise at the check out, everything was taken care off. SPA and local excursions are paid separetelly, of course. The only thing to keep in mind is that July is part of the rainy season there, so unfortunatelly it rainy almost everyday of my 5-day stay, at least during the morning. In the afternoon, the wheather was ok. Eventhough it was raining, there were plenty things to do. Gym is really good, although it can be crowded especially during the rain, but it is 24h. Music live shows were happening during almost all day long (by the pool, by the beach, at the pub, etc). The only down size for me is that it kind gets too long for me to get there (I am from Sao Paulo) - it is a 2h30min flight + 2h30min travel by car. Regarding the price, it was about 2000 reais/day/room with 2 people. It is not cheap but I believe the hotel gave back what it promised.

We are a group of four people, from São Paulo, who purchased four stays at the Japaratinga Lounge Resort, from September 10th to 16th, 2023.
On August 30, 2023, we contacted Japaratinga Lounge Resort to confirm reservations, and received a response via email. We also confirmed our transportation to the resort.
On September 10th, we arrived at the resort after a seven-hour drive. When trying to check in, we were told that our stays had been cancelled.
We showed the resort's confirmation emails to the staff, but they said the cancellation was due to the staff's own negligence. We requested to speak to the manager, Mr. Brenio, who confirmed the cancellation, but refused to accommodate us.
We also spoke with Mr. Guilherme, the accommodation manager, who also refused to host us, even if we paid the daily rates again. He said there was no availability for the period we had contracted.
We were outraged by the situation. We made a formal complaint to the resort but have not heard back. We also contacted our lawyers and TV Record, consumer patrol.
We lost our vacation days, which had been scheduled for months. This was a very negative experience, which caused us moral and financial damage.

We were already at the hotel in 2021, and now on our second stay we saw how much the quality had dropped. The pool is always crowded. The pool restaurant with few options, as well as the beach bar. The restaurant has almost no seafood, and the quality and variety have dropped. It looks like a big deal… nothing like 5 stars. And a lot of repetition of dishes - one day there was bobó dr shrimp in the pool for lunch and at night it was for dinner! Sometimes, we had to deal with bad mood from some employees… Tiny, crowded gym. Small sauna and doesn't get hot. Every day the same pagoda, and very high! If you stay in the front rooms, be prepared! If you like silence, you won't have it!!! In the beach area, bicycles were available for 2 days, then they disappeared! But at least they put in some really cool double kayaks! I think the hotel is only attractive for those who want to eat and drink non-stop and don't care much about quality….

Despite many comments here on Tripadvisor that the resort even offers lobster, what I saw in the 8 days of my stay was above average food comparable to other resorts, but no lobster or any other dish that I tasted considered exceptional. Prawns, yes, daily, on some days shrimp in the shell, which, let's face it, doesn't make much sense for a resort labeled as premium. The drinks on offer are plentiful and include all Ambev brands and well-crafted drinks. The shows are very enjoyable, especially those at 1pm in the pool. Well-trained and polite employees. Great facilities and comfortable rooms. The beach in front of the Resort is not the best, comparable to other beaches in Alagoas. We were frustrated with the discriminatory treatment regarding the use of dinner at the Maka a la carte restaurant, permitted only for guests of the new wing of the Resort, contradicting the information contained on the Amarante chain's website, which states that access to the new gastronomic hub would be open to all guests.
