We decided this morning to go and visit this village with a couple of friends, what can I say, it didn't disappoint us, in fact. We found a large car park before entering the town and with a short walk you arrive at the old village. First we visited Petrarca's house, the entrance is 6 euros, then we wandered around a bit, we saw Petrarca's tomb and took countless photos where there is no shortage of suggestive views.

Located very central and close to former Petrarca home. Seniora Ines was very nice and made everything to make our stay very comfortable. Room was very large and charming. B&B located in old house with a garden.

There is a shop with wine, cheese and ricotta, but no vegatable and fruits. There are several shops with locally produced wines. Fruitsmarket works only wednesday and friday. Bus goes to Padova only at 6, 8, 14 o'clock.

Room Tip: We stayed on mansarda, we can recommend this room if you are not concerned with a small bathroom.

Lovely B and B with a large room and nice bathroom. A lovely welcome from the Signora who could not have been more helpful. Simple breakfast outside in a sweet garden with lots of fruit trees. Don't except anything luxury and you will enjoy it a lot.
Good parking and well located for the town and surroundings.

on the recommendation of the tourist office I went to visit this village which is considered among the most beautiful in Italy. perhaps because I have visited so many of them listed on this list and was full of expectations that I was disappointed.
many, too many tourist activities, bars, restaurants, wine bars and shops dominate, then there is Petrarca's house as a great attraction, I would say not much and in any case with opening hours and costs that are not enticing

We spent a summer afternoon in the streets of Aruqà Petrarca, one of the towns located in the Euganean Hills, famous for hosting the House of Petrarca.
We took advantage of the visit to the town to also visit Petrarch's house. The initial video which explains the Poet's life, from his travels to his death, is very pleasant.
