For some context, I am 33 weeks pregnant and we travelled as a family of three with our 5 year old in the 2024 Easter holidays (7-14th April). We booked a Deluxe Junior Suit Bungalow with a garden view. This visit was somewhat disappointing compared to our visit to Aria last year. There are many benefits to this resort. It is beautiful and the staff make the holiday special. You will likely meet some of the kindest individuals who work here. They work super hard and deserve to be well rewarded for their work. I am grateful for their kindness. Special mention to: George and all the staff in Kerkyra Thomas - Fresco Boris - Sea Pool There were many other staff members who were exceptional. I did not catch all of their names unfortunately but I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and thoughtfulness. The grounds are beautiful and immaculate. I would say some of the interiors were slightly more outdated than that of Aria. We had a courtesy room on our final day which was a double inland view style room. It was a bit outdated and basic which I think I would be disappointed with if we had booked. The room we had was 2006 in the Deluxe area however was beautiful with lots of space, a bath tub and shower. The children’s entertainment was excellent. Special mention to the staff who performed some great Disney shows. We did have multiple issues unfortunately during our stay which has caused me to review the trip lower than what I had hoped. Firstly, there were a few shortcomings regarding service. For example, our deluxe beach bag was not already in the room upon arrival and we had to chase for this. Room service drinks took sometimes an hour to arrive. Often around the non-deluxe pools we would not receive towels or water and would have to chase for this ourselves. All of this is more inconvenient as I am pregnant. Sometimes in restaurants drinks would be missing. Our morning maid service was not completed until later in the afternoon, but we were offered down service around 6pm when we were still getting ready and some of us had not had chance to shower. Therefore, we did not need the service yet but would have benefited from it whilst we were out in the evening. At Aria, our daughter was thrilled returning to the room with a biscuit on her bed. She was a bit upset that this did not happen at all during our stay at Dassia. The lady who asked us if we wanted it done was kind and this was not her fault. I believe that she was under a lot of pressure to get a lot of rooms done. These are smaller gripes. I believe this is probably due to staffing issues and it being early season. I would say the Flavours buffet was good but did not have as much variety as at Aria. Similarly, the lunch options at Ouzo were quite limited. My main issues were the following. I arranged with the spa manager for a mother to be massage. She confirmed that I could use the two complimentary 25 min treatments combined that you get with the deluxe package to have the pregnancy treatment. After my treatment, I was told that there was a charge (I believe €35 or €55). This shocked me and I explained the situation that at no point was an extra charge mentioned. After two phone calls the lady confirmed that I did not need to pay. This experience was embarrassing and I no longer felt relaxed. Secondly, we had some issues regarding food safety. We ordered some food around the pool and beach including chicken quesadillas and Philadelphia baguettes. The meat felt cold but the bread felt warm. After one bite I could not consume the rest out of fear that this could put my unborn baby at risk. Moreover, in Ouzo, the pork skewers had pink meat inside. I only noticed after already consuming the majority of the food. This made me anxious. I was later reassured by various staff members that the meat was safe to consume. Although this reassured me to an extent, I am still conscious that the meat after being reheated is not checked to ensure it has reached a safe internal temperature. Many dishes were not served hot. I am still worried about any negative impact this may have on my unborn baby. We arrived after 11pm on 7th April. Our flight home was not until 10.10pm on 14th April. After requesting late check out/ a courtesy room days prior we were told late the night prior to check out that we could only have our room until 12.30pm, approximately 7 hours before our transfer time. This was disappointing and I assumed more effort would have been made to ensure that we were given a comfortable check out experience after the issues and stress we had faced. We were told that we could use the spa facilities which lack privacy and probably adequate comfort late in my pregnancy. I mentioned this as we checked out around 12pm. Whilst we were having lunch that day (after having packed and put our luggage in storage), we were then told we could have a room to shower in etc until 7pm. Although this was appreciated, it was unfortunate that it was not actioned earlier as this would have avoided further disappointment/stress. A lot of time was taken up on our last day sorting out everything. I did notice on the day we left it was much quieter at the resort and definitely not at full capacity. I assume most families went home after the Easter holidays had finished. Therefore it seemed even more unusual that it took a lot of work on our part to get a private space to change, shower, rest etc. At Aria, we were given the same room for the rest of our day until the transfer time. Overall, I think more care needs to be taken to ensure pregnant guests are looked after. Certain staff members made extra effort to ensure I was consuming the right foods which I am grateful. I do appreciate the kind staff. I just wish the standard of care was higher given the issues we have had and the stress it had caused me. Given these issues and the drop in standard of Ikos, I do not think that we would return any time soon.

We've just had the most incredible week at Ikos Dassia. It exceeded all our expectations, and our expectations were high! The service was exceptional, especially our wonderful concierge Juliana who took great care of us, and the fantastic sommelier Anastasios who went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed incredible wines every night. The restaurants, bars, pools, and beach were all fantastic. It was a truly special week. Thank you to all the incredible staff, we can’t wait to return!

We spent a week at Ikos Dassia and had the most amazing time. Weather was beautiful and the hotel took care of everything. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The place was always spotless and the food was fantastic. We spent lots of time at the sports area which had table tennis, football, basketball, tennis, and volleyball - all we could hope for!! The pools were beautiful and clean, always staff there to take our orders. Everything was so easy. I must highlight Juliana especially for quickly helping to arrange everything for us, even the reservations we forgot to make she made sure were done for us. AMAZING! I also want to thank Spyros in Ouzo restaurant for being so helpful and his amazing food and wine suggestions. We will go back!!

We love Ikos resorts and Dassia Corfu was everything we knew it would be and more. The facilities from the room, to the spa, the bars and restaurants can not be faulted. The quality of food and drink is excellent and the service you get in all areas of the resort is second to none. Special mention given to the housekeeping who work tirelessly everyday to ensure you are so well looked after and the rooms are kept immaculately clean. Mini bar is a real perk👍🏻 We had so many nice meals and managed to try all of the 7 restaurants and were not disappointed!! All amazing. All the staff were kind and attentive but we wanted to make a special mention to Vivi, Demitri and Juli in the Sea building lobby bar (and to the hard working guys behind the bar making all the drinks! One of the servers Sam in the Asian restaurant and in Flavours and last but not least the lovely Lisa, who we only met again latterly but could not do enough to help us and was so incredibly kind. We had met her previously at Ikos Olivia and could not mistake her friendly and helpful demeanour. There were lovely little extras like the sunset boat ride, the shuttle bus into Corfu Old town, and the use of the courtesy room on the day we left; to mention a few. We cannot paise the staff enough. We would mention them all if we could. We loved our holiday so much we hope to be back in October with our daughter and her friend. Five star, gold star all day long. Thank you Gillian and Dylan Christian xx

Ikos Dassia review Another fabulous stay at Ikos Dassia and this might have been our best Ikos holiday yet. We’ve been to Dassia once before as a couple and have had several previous Ikos adventures both with and without our three children. What set this trip apart from all the others was undoubtedly the staff who genuinely made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel, from start to finish. From the greeting we received in the airport, individualised for every member of our family right through to our departure a week later where we were waved off by several members of staff, we were made to feel so special. I was genuinely tearful to say goodbye to George and Catarina in Guest Relations who truly felt like friends by the time we left. They could not have done more to make our stay any more memorable, comfortable and luxurious - infinite lifestyle indeed. All the usual things that set Ikos apart were there in abundance: -Great food (it really is astonishing what they can produce at such mass quantities) in every single restaurant we tried as well as by the many pools. -A wonderful selection of drinks where everything really is included and restocked continuously. Unbelievable how much you are able to access and being all inclusive feels so nice as there’s no stressing about the bill or avoiding ordering something expensive. -Comfortable and stylish accommodation with so much storage and space that we really didn’t feel cramped at all as a family of five. -Amazing location, scenery and views -Too many gorgeous pools and wonderful spaces in which to relax to count -Wonderful entertainment options from the spectacular Teatro shows to the live Lobby music -Endless activities: bike rides, boat trips (we saw dolphins on the sunset cruise which is included), pedalos, paddle boards, kayaks, Tesla hire (also included) and a regular shuttle to the town The staff also went above and beyond (thank you, Theodora!) to recognise my daughter’s 9th birthday on the second day of our stay leaving a wonderful (and delicious!) cake in the room as well as a fabulous balloon display (I did pay extra for this but it was a very nominal amount) and a lovely, personalised handwritten card. Due to a slight delay checking in, they also treated us to some flowers and a complimentary boat trip with Thanis and Marie at Corfu Boat and Rib Hire (can’t recommend enough) complete with a picnic box each and a guided tour of secret caves, views of luxury mansions and the chance to swim with the fish and through the caves in the gorgeous shallow waters of a cove. We even saw dolphins again. Unforgettable experience which we will definitely do again when we visit Ikos Odisia in October (the newer resort is about 1/2 a mile down the coast - you can see it from Ikos Dassia). I wish I could mention all of the amazing staff who made our stay so special but here are a few that we have to single out: -George in guest relations - what a guy!! -Tasos - our lovely waiter at The Grill House and Breakfast Buffet -Catarina - Deluxe Concierge and guest relations - so lovely, helpful and attentive -Georgia - server at the Deluxe pool - again so attentive and lovely. -Panagiotis - server at the Deluxe pool. Ditto. -Theodoris in Flavors who plated up some food and sent to my room via room service when I had to leave dinner at Anaya early due to my daughter feeling unwell. Also the lovely room service receptionist who sent up a bottle of wine for me and suggested some camomile tea when I explained my daughter wasn’t feeling well - so caring. -Marieta - a lovely server at the Sea pool -Petros - manager at the Deluxe pool who spent a long time chatting to us and was so keen to hear if they could improve their service in any way - so refreshing. -Spyro - a lovely waiter at Ouzo lunch BBQ -Chrysa and Luka - waitress and waiter at our amazing dinner on beach - what an experience and they were both wonderful. -Both of our private transfer drivers who were friendly and knowledgeable. It is these people who make the Ikos experience what it is. They are a credit to the company and it wouldn’t be the same without them. I must also comment on their amazing English language skills - it makes me feel bad how fantastic their English is - they communicate completely fluently - v impressive. If anyone is reading this and wondering what the weather was like in April, we traveled 7-14 April 2024 and it was absolutely gorgeous. 100% sunny the whole time ranging from 23 to 27 Celsius. I gather this time last year was not as good so we certainly got very lucky. Can’t wait to return!

We stayed 1st-8th April with our 2 year old. It took approx 25mins to get there from the airport which was really handy as no long transfer after the flight. Check in We arrived early afternoon and were checked in quickly, given all the information we needed, added to the concierge WhatsApp and offered sparkling wine (and juice for the toddler). Our luggage was already waiting in our room by the time we were taken there by a member of staff. We stayed in the Sky building. Room We had a junior suite and found it to be comfortable and spacious. The mini bar was well stocked and replenished regularly. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the cot provided for our little one was a good size and he slept well in it. We had a stunning view of the sea and the mountains. The aircon worked so well we often had to turn it off! We didn’t use the room service option but the menu looked good. Grounds The grounds of the hotel were stunning, amazing trees and plant life everywhere and exceptionally clean. It was spotless at all times. The beach was more shingle than soft sand but we’re not really beach people so didn’t use it much. Facilities The hotel offers many activities daily which we didn’t really get to take part in because of our 2 year old but they looked really good. The pools were all heated and the splash park was a hit. The kids play area was a great feature as it was somewhere else we could go to burn off some energy. We utilised the kids club twice and despite being unsure at first, our son really enjoyed his sessions and the staff were excellent. We took part in the wine tasting and found it really informative and interesting. It really encouraged us to try different wines we wouldn’t usually. We also did the sunset cruise one evening which was lovely, great views, a glass of fizz and something different to do. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the spa! Food This was standout for me. Almost every meal was fantastic. Huge range, beautifully presented and very delicious. Being able to order whatever we wanted was amazing as we could try lots of different dishes. The selection for kids was great too. We ate in every restaurant and my favourites were Fresco and Anaya for the views and food options. We did have one meal which wasn’t as good as the others at The Grill House as some things we’d ordered didn’t arrive and it was very slow. I believe they had issues with their ordering system that night though. They apologised and it was dealt with well but it was a shame as the menu there looked great and we didn’t get to try what we wanted to. Overall We had such an amazing holiday, we were so lucky with the weather for April as it was hot and sunny everyday. We were sad to leave at the end of our trip and would definitely return!

Wow what a place, oh Ikos what have you done? Forget any all inclusives, this place sets the bar so high. If you love great service, fantastic food, wine, drinks then this place is for you. Yes,it is a family place but we went as a couple and found it to be perfect, adults pool was fantastic. Breakfast in the restaurants is a must, special shout out to Anaya, amazing food. We will definitely be back. The Tesla for the day was super easy and totally hassle free, would recommend in a heartbeat.

What an absolutely fabulous 7 days at this resort. By their own admission a new team but what a team they are already. The service was fantastic, cleanliness fantastic, food fantastic and all round atmosphere and attention to detail was perfect. Notable thank yous should be made to the 2 Georges, Cristina at the pool, Helen at Anaya G and the team in the Sky Bar, Finotina (sp) at the adults pool and the manager at the Grill House who all provided a masterclass in customer care as far as we were concerned. A lovely bottle of Taittinger presented on our departure reaffirmed our already made decision to return next year !

I had heard about Ikos from various friends over the years so decided to take the plunge and book expecting great things. It’s a beautiful spot but really is for young families and not really 5 star. The wine and drinks are terrible and cheap quality which is a shame. Some of the restaurants are nice but the hotel lacks the finesse of others that I have visited in the same price range. Overall I would say if you have young kids it’s a good option but not really for us
