The AC was working in Barcelona summer season and i have notified the staff multiple times. They said it is a central AC and there is nothing we can do and the maintenance staff are off today. I could not get any sleep and they were careless about customers although I am a regular Accor Gold customer this was the worst experience ever.
The bad experience commenced at check-in. No proper check-in desks, just two young people in T-shirts in the lounge area checking you in on smartphones. The couple in front of me took 15 minutes to check-in. They took 10 minutes to check me in. Then the rooms: very very dated, probably not refurbed since the 1990s. Then the noise: my room overlooked the main road, busy with traffic all night. The windows did not prevent the feeling that a lorry was about to drive into your room. Breakfast was actually ok. Checkout slightly less painful than check-in. Poor overall.
Awful avoid!! Rooms are not clean I honestly feel dirty leaving the hotel this morning We had a fitted alarm of some sort in our room which flashed all night apparently all rooms have them Air conditioning didn’t work heard other guests say the same thing Pool was clean only one set of steps in or out very deep no shallow area Disaster waiting to happen be careful if travelling with kids Nothing for small kids to hold onto while in pool Down stairs looks good but my goodness upstairs what a let down Paid €130 for family of 4 You actually couldn’t pay me to ever stay here again If I had somewhere else to go last night I would of left Exhausted sitting at airport horrible way to end our holiday
Perfect service, perfect restaurant, perfect room, absolutely nothing to complain. Located close to the airport. The first Accor hotol, which granted me an upgrade due to my status in the loyalty program.
The room I got was very old, with moquette that clearly needed a renewal. The cleaning was not perfect, probably because the moquette that I believe was hard to clean deeply. Didn’t have the chance to see other rooms. Mattress and pillow were fine.
Definitely not one of the more impressive Accor properties in Spain, but it offers a good value proposition compared to its sibling hotels in town. Hotel is simple and well-connected to the metro system, which makes it all the more convenient. Store named Hipercor or something was right around the corner too, good place to pick up some wine among other things
Top marks 5. Great decor. Wonderful staff. Clean. Fun. Comfortable. My new favourite hotel. At last a hotel chain that makes you feel valued and cared for. Thank you. I shall be back as I visit Barcelona every 2 weeks. I truly recommend this hotel.
Did enjoy a lot my recent stay as i did for previous ones. Good location, large and clean room, nice breakfast and the cherry on the top: Amazing staff making you feel at home. Always a pleasure staying there. Thanks to All Mostafa
Staff are great and extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and always willing to go the extra mile. Almost everyone is fluent in English. Pity that the hotel is currently under staffed as makes the efforts of those on duty more challenging. Expect a half hour wait in the reception queue!
My family and I stayed twice at Novotel Barcelona Cornella in 2019. Both the times the stay was fantastic. The rooms were clean, well designed, and functional. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help in any way. I would stay there again if opportunity arises, and would strongly recommend to friends.
