This was our second visit to an Ikos resort.. first time we went to the Olivia in Halkidiki and was very impressed.

We decided on the Aria this time and from the moment we arrived the service was outstanding.

Despite the uncertainty with Kos falling under the same restrictions as Greece upon arrival to the hotel all guests were made to feel comfortable.

The attention to detail was apparent throughout our stay.
All staff from Domestic , Bar, Beach ,Reception , Restaurant and leisure portrayed the Ikos ethos and it was clear there was a value in each and every role.

It was a pleasure to sit at the bar both in the lobby and the Deluxe lounge where the Bar staff produced some Top class cocktails.

There is a range of Restaurants to choose from that offer a plethora of cuisine ...wise to book the restaurants and a little later if you want to avoid children.
The adult only facilities such as pool and dining space is a great addition for those wanting to escape for some tranquility.
The gymnasium was accessible via a booking system as were a range of classes.. under the Covid protocol we found that the sessions offered of 45 minutes was too restrictive ..told that staff had to clean 15 minutes before each hour. Would also suggest that the current gymnasium would not fulfill guests exercise needs once the Hotel is up to capacity as is too Small..these suggestions were passed onto Snr management.
Once we were ready to leave the property the On site Covid clinic managed our lateral flow tests without it interfering with our Holiday.
Lastly I would like to mention Iraklis the Duty Manager at Aria who was Hands on and ensured that each and every Guests query was dealt with immediately and face to face ..he takes pride in managing the Ikos and its testiment to the standards portrayed by his Team of staff.

We have booked as a group of 6 to return next year and look forward to some live music, entertainment and the terrace Bar being operational

We stayed in this hotel for a week in June which was unfortunately not long enough to enjoy this paradise to the maximum. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, had a drink and after a short introduction of the hotel we checked in to our nice junior suite sea view room located left of the main building which was very spacious, bright and clean. In this hotel you don't need to take care of anything because everything is done for you and you can just take it easy and enjoy. Especially we would like to highlight the service in this property, we travel a lot and have seen many 5 star hotels around the world but we have hardly ever seen such an amazingly friendly and attentive staff. We strongly believe that every single staff member in all the different areas make the difference and it's because of them that the hotel is at such a top quality level.
The restaurants are fantastic because all of them are unique and offering a different experience and location. Moreover we would like to point out the cleanliness of the whole property especially the garden with all these different flowers and trees, it looks magical and refreshing at the same time, this once again creates a unique atmosphere and makes the difference to other hotels.
It might be a little bit more expensive but I can definitely guarantee that every single penny is well invested because the whole package you get is simply amazing and you won't have to regret anything, your wishes will all be fulfilled.
Thanks for this great adventure and we are looking forward to see you again very soon!

Arrival:
After a late arrival from Gatwick check-in occurred in a personal manner in the lobby with cocktails while our vaccination details and covid tests were checked. Andre from reception was very helpful in arranging our restaurant reservations for the week. Our bags were then transferred to our room and we had a fantastic buffet meal in Flavours.

Food and drink:
All restaurants were of excellent quality with attentive and friendly service. The restaurants kept us well plugged with an extensive wine selection with 40EUR bottles of wine included in the room rate. I particularly recommend Provence, Kos, Ouzo where the flavours of France and Greece shone through. Cocktails and delicous warm sandwiches like the chicken katsu sandwich :))) are delivered to you with a friendly smile regardless of which pool or beach you are enjoyning at the time. If you want to eat haute cuisine for a week straight Ikos Aria is the place to do it.
Grounds, Pool and Beach:
The Beach is beautiful and groomed with gas blue water and a great view of Kastri Islet. There are too many pools to count but my favouite was the Beach pool as the fun and energetic aqua fit classes occured there as well as DJ Lazulus spinning the wheels of steel in the afternoon. The hotel is very large and spread out, the hotel makes use of a lot of white marble which is beautiful. a nod also has to got to the gardening team who created big beautiful lawns along with cacti and palm tree displays giving the hotel and elegant and well kempt feel.
The Island;
The resort of Kefalos was very quiet though the beaches surrounding Kefalos are superb. I liked Camel beach and Kochayliri beach which are definetly worth a visit. The village of Zia is enchanting and is best at lunchtime as due to the altitude it is cooler then Kos town and is not so crowded at lunch. Kos is much less humid than the Ionian islands and has a heavenly breeze which means evenings are very comfortable and not at all sticky.
Activities:
I tried beach sailing on a hobby cat here which was really fun and went at a fair lick due to the Meltemi wind. Kayaking around Kastri Islet was also really fun. I also improved my beach volleyball game here.
Overall:
Otherworldly luxury that beats any all-inclusive hotel I have ever been to. Although the hotel is very large service is personal and intimate like a boutique hotel. Beautiful island blessed with a perfect summer climate.

Genuine 5 star luxury and exemplary service awaits you at the Ikos Aria resort. The staff and Management Team alike earnestly dedicate themselves to making your trip one that you will always remember.

Clean spacious accommodation with luxury furniture inside and on your terrace, coupled with 24/7 room service means you receive optimum attention both in room and outside of it.

The restaurants, bars and lobby area are breathtaking in design and comfortable and delicious healthy food in all the restaurants consistently builds a sense of well-being.

The pools and outdoor spaces are pristine, beautiful gardens and Agapanthus as big as footballs!

The well tended private beach meant that I could swim in the sea every day.

Special thanks to Panos who personally oversaw our entire holiday, helpful suggestions and personal tweaks made this feel like a very bespoke experience for our family. Extended thanks also to Kostas at the deluxe pool who, quite simply was amazing and whose attention to detail made such a difference. The boys in both Lobby and deluxe lobby bars were professionals and such fun. Lastly to Bill in Oliva who made our last night one to remember.

And to everyone, may we simply say ‘thank-you’. We shall return as soon as we are able.

It's difficult to add to the wonderful comments that people have already shared on this fabulous resort. It's simply the best service you will ever experience and beautifully clean and modern. Having visited two years ago before the pandemic I was unsure how I would feel returning but the hotel has adjusted wonderfully with it's new 'Infinite Care Protocol'. I felt completely safe while I was there, almost cocooned from Covid. Staff are tested twice per week and all of them wear masks at all times although guests do not have to. The standards of cleanliness are so high, everywhere is spotless but it is not intrusive at all. I regularly saw staff cleaning furniture early in the morning before most guest are awake and also quietly cleaning the pool in the dark!
What sets this resort apart from others are the staff. All are fantastic but a few stood out to me for various reasons - Theo, the Beach and Pool Experience Manager could not do enough for us, Paris, manager of the Deluxe Pool Bar for anticipating my Pol Remy top ups, Christina at the Deluxe Pool Bar for being so lovely to my son and even finding 5 minutes out of her busy day to play a couple of rounds of his Top Trumps card game with him, Georgia, Fani and Zuzska at the Ouzo restaurant for outstanding service in the blistering heat (there was a heatwave while we were there) making our lunch times so memorable. Thank you to DJ Lazaros for the fantastic pool vibes and indulging our music requests and Effie and Margaret for quietly assisting in making this fantastic resort run like clockwork - we will be back. Last but not least a special thank you to the two amazing ladies from housekeeping that cleaned room 2214. I'm sorry I did not get your names but you made my son's holiday when you managed to go out of your way to locate his green turtle soft toy when we moved rooms mid holiday (we were lucky enough to receive an upgrade) and the turtle went missing in the move. Thank you, thank you, thank you .
If you want a holiday where you can leave your cares behind, be indulged with amazing food from all of the 8 restaurants and feel like royalty then look no further than Ikos Aria.

We have recently returned from the most wonderful holiday at Ikos Aria.

The first thing that struck us was the beautiful interior decor in the main lobby but we soon discovered everywhere you go in the resort is equally as beautifully designed and well thought out. The whole place is spotless.

The restaurants offer something for everyone and the food and wine was great quality everywhere we went.

We were originally only booked for two weeks and booked a panoramic junior suite with a balcony which was wonderful but after a week we decided to extend it to three weeks and were moved to a stunning beach front one bedroom room in the deluxe area so we got to experience both sides of the resort and both were amazing.

From the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t do enough for us and there are some that deserve a special mention.

Dimitris and Karina in the main lobby - what a super couple ! So knowledgeable and professional. There were 7 of us in our party and I always seemed to be needing something at the front desks and they had all the answers. Karina’s help organising our day out in the Mini’s was excellent, she booked restaurants and told us all the best places to visit which made the day so memorable. They also were great when it came to booking another week and organising our room move.

Also in the main lobby was Elena in guest relations who helped me book all our dinner reservations and Anastasia and Pandora in the bar who were both lovely.

Georgia, Giannis, Niki, Panayiotis & Skander at Ouzo were outstanding. All so friendly, remembered all our favourite drinks and made us always feel so welcome. A special thank you to Giannis & Skander for lifting my little boy in his wheelchair onto the beach so we could enjoy a beautiful evening meal there.

Tassos, Ioanna, Giannis at the Main Pool and Paris at the Deluxe Pool were wonderful, you couldn’t fault their service and their bubbly and happy personalities.

Achilles, Gorzad and Dimitris at the Deluxe Beach were also great, assisting us in finding beds that we could easily access with the wheelchair and even ensuring the wheelchair was covered in towels so it wasn’t too hot when my son got back in. They did a great job all day despite the blistering heat.

Last but not least Asterios (Mr A !) who popped up just about everywhere and always had time to come and chat and see how we were doing and ask if there was anything we needed. It’s obvious his staff have a great deal of respect for him and he’s clearly a great mentor, getting stuck in and helping out his staff during busy times.

We had one of the best holidays we have had and will most definitely be back.

We recently stayed as 3 adults in September in a junior suite with a private garden.

This hotel is of an excellent standard. It is definitely one of its kind,we have never experienced a hotel with such good service before.

We tended to eat in the buffet because one of our party is a fussy eater, however we did try Ouzo which was very nice and excellent service, as was the buffet restaurant. The food was good in the buffet, there were theme nights but there was always something plain for fussy eaters too. The only thing we didn’t see was much red meat or a carving station, which meant that we quite often saw the same meat over and over. The food wasn’t always hot but this is normal in buffets so this was never an issue. A special shout out to Anna in Flavours who would always go that extra mile.

The drinks are all premium and branded spirits, there were a good choice of wine and cocktails and I’m sure if there was something you wanted that wasn’t on the menu, the staff would be more than happy to make it for you.

The hotel is in a great location, it is about 15 minutes from the airport which means the transfer is very short. The hotel is set on a lovely beach, and although the sea can be quite rocky,if you go towards the private beach part to the left of the island it is sandy and easy to get into the sea. There is also a town that is walkable from the hotel.

There are 2 big swimming pools for non deluxe, a children’s splash pad and a children’s pool, an adults only pool and then a deluxe pool too, all of which are very nice. We never had an issue getting a sunbed, and the sunbeds are cushioned which are very comfortable.

There are shows in the amphitheatre which we didn’t go to but I have heard they are very good, but we sit in the bars and there was live music which was very good.

Our room was lovely and quiet, spacious and clean. We had no issues with cleanliness and the maid was very friendly. Everything was well stocked and replenished in the room. We had a couple of times where we didn’t have 3 sets of towels and tried to request extra and they did bring some, just different to what we wanted but I think that was a language barrier as we didn’t speak much Greek and so we were trying to explain what it was we wanted.

The hotel is very clean, the staff are constantly working hard to keep it clean and tidy. All of the staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. They took time out of their day to ask about you and find out about how your holiday is going.

This hotel is definitely worth a visit and I’m glad we went. The costs do seem to keep rising and so with prices rising the way they are I’m not sure if we would return straight away, however if the prices came down or there was a good deal I wouldn’t say no.

We have recently returned from Ikos Aria (2 adults and 2 children) and I cannot express how amazing this resort and its staff are! From the minute we arrived to the transfer to the airport home, we were treated like royalty. Every member of staff we came into contact with was exceptional and Ikos should be very proud of each and every one of them! There are however a few members of staff who really stood out to us and went the extra mile - Effie, George (deluxe manager), Margaret, Tzina (duluxe bar) Romario and staff at ouzo restaurant, Ioanna (main pool) Our cleaners (room 6112) and all the ladies in kids club. There were lots more but unfortunately I forgot to write down their names.

This was our second time visiting Aria as we visited shortly after it initially opened. The first time was amazing but this time was even better. The food is exceptional , our favourite restaurant was Ouzo as has the most amazing views and wonderful Greek food. Each restaurant was fantastic and we enjoyed them all very much!

We haven’t any allergies in our family but they are always very careful to check at each meal and will do what they can to make sure everyone is catered for! Nothing is too much for them and all you need to do is ask!

A big thank you to the lovely ladies that cleaned our room each day as they left everything spotless but also changed the time they cleaned our room due to us having a 10 month old who would be napping quite often. This was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated.

An even bigger thank you Effie, George and Margaret - you made our trip so special and one we will always remember! My husband had the best Birthday thanks to you guys and you really did go above and beyond!

We would encourage everybody to experience Ikos Aria and promise that you will not be disappointed!

This was our second stay at this beautiful resort. We visited Aria in 2019. We had a great time back then, but we must admit they surpassed the already great service this time.

The deluxe area is really worth the premium in this resort. The area is very beautiful, the deluxe pool is our opinion the nicest pool in the hotel, and the the deluxe lobby bar is very nice with perfect service.
Our room was a deluxe one bedroom bungalow suite, which had a very luxurious interior design, and a breathtaking sea view. Also the room service was great.

We visited all the à la carte restaurants, which all offered us a great dining experience. We had the best culinary experience in Provence, where the cuisine was amazing. But overall, because it had the little extra of the amazing view and interior design, Ouzo was our favourite.

During these covid times we hesitated to go on a holiday, but at Ikos Aria we didn't regret going for a second. The hotel handles the covid situation very well, there's hand sanitisers everywhere, guests must uses gloves at the buffets, employees wearing masks all the time, and there's always enough space between the tables.

Then last but not least, the staff. All of them were so friendly and nice to us, making us feel welcome and great during our whole stay. Nothing is too much for them. And they just keep on smiling even at busy and stressful times.
We would like to thank the following staff who provided us extraordinary service:
Achileas and Dimitris at the beach.
Giannis and Lapo at Ouzo.
Mugena at the Deluxe Lobby Bar.
Karina from guest relations, who regularly checked up on us and resolved some minor issues.

We highly recommend this wonderful hotel and will definitely return.

Now then. Yes this place is expensive, but boy do you get a lot, and then some, for your money. ALL the staff cannot do enough to ensure that we, their guests, have a pleasant and relaxed vacation.

The location is a perfect beach setting with an old Christian settlement to visit at your leisure and the small island rock which you can either pedalo your way there courtesy of the hotel, or why not walk/swim it, and ring the bell of the little church and jump into the clear waters of the small cove from a rock there.

The room we booked was very clean and had a full fridge which would be restocked daily, and if not, pick up the phone and the items would arrive with a smile within ten minutes.

Do visit the welcome staff opposite reception and let them book the meal plan so that you have a table booked for all restaurants for the duration of your stay. All restaurants have a specially selected three course a la carte option which had a great choice and variety. All staff were very pleasant and didn't disturb too much, only when needed.

The beach bar was just great. Always found sun loungers with towels provided and a wide selection of cocktails and branded spirits available. Frozen daquiris!!! Espresso martinis. Here is where the staff really excelled themselves. They worked so hard through that heat and always ready to chat and share experiences, or not, if that's what you wanted.

The theatre shows where of a very high standard. The performers were professional and had trained singing voices and good dancers. The lighting and staging was top notch and very good sound system for an open air space. All drinks served at table. The lobby lounges where a more relaxed and also had high quality singers and musicians as another option to the shows. The night club was a cosy well lit area to keep the party going until 1.30.

If you want to feel spoiled and relax in a stylish setting without stuffy formality, where casual and smart is the norm, then this has it all, and a that little bit more.
