The hotel is consisted of 22 traditional Towers and remains a very important architectural element of the area. It was built with stones and wood so it magically blends in the surrounding area and showcases the traditional architecture of the ancient Peloponnese. We had a delightful stay at the Limeni Village Hotel which was over a 3 day period.

Limeni is a beautiful village, it has the most beautiful coloured turquoise and blue waters in the bay where you can jump off rocks and platforms into inviting sea. The bay is famous for turtles that are fed by Takis Seafood Restaurant in town and is a pleasure to go and see. My opinion of the service at that restaurant is another thing....

Up on the hill is where the hotel is based. It has kept its traditional look to mirror the village and is clad in the most beautiful stone. The rooms are dotted around on the hill and are not the largest of rooms you’ll stay in but they did suffice. The bathroom was tiny though and the shower enclosure was a a little snug to say the least. All rooms face the ocean I believe and the views as you wake up of the bay are SPECTACULAR....sunset will fill your instagram for days.

Breakfast is delicious. Lots of local cheeses, pastries, fresh fruit, local pies and much more. We loved the fresh orange and lemon juices for a morning ritual cleansing each day. The staff were on the whole at breakfast quite lovely but one or two lacked motivation and keenness to serve you (which is all done by them for Covid related protection).

The pool has lovely views and the young lady that served us was wonderful, she was so super friendly and efficient at serving everyone all by herself (and at times it got really busy) she recommended amazing restaurants to eat in and local boat tours at competitive prices (there is dominant boat hire company that has the monopoly down in the bay and are really expensive). The only downside to the pool were the self entitled children throwing/jumping/diving/back flipping in to the pool RELENTLESSLY despite the quite blatant rules of no jumping/diving etc. So if you want to spend €10 on a delicious cocktail, expect to have pool water splashed in it constantly.

We did have dinner one night in the hotel which was delicious and the wine even better. Lots of people come up to the rooftop for drinks from the local area, so get a table early to avoid disappointment.

Overall the hotel is divine, the local area sublime and we will definitely be back to visit.

The hotel is located in a stunning position above Itilo Bay with beautiful views of mountains and sea.

All the food is excellent, prepared by a talented chef and served by knowledgeable staff.

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful at all times.

Cleanliness is of a high standard (we were there just after lockdown finished)

The accommodation is made up of individual rooms set in a replica traditional Mani village homes.

However, this lead to problems with our room. The bed was situated in the corner, on a stone platform. The mattress was very comfortable, but there was only one side of the bed to get in and out of. The person in the corner has to climb over their partner, it was also airless. Not suitable for two people. It would be perfect for a single person, particularly if they were on the tall or large size.

The bathroom was small and cramped with a 'jaccusi' style shower unit that took up too much room, was difficult to get in and out of. A plain shower unit would be more practical in that small space. The water was hot and plentiful though.

I saw other rooms that were larger (called triples) that would have suited us as a couple. They had larger, simpler, bathrooms and proper bedsteads that had space either side. If we go back we would book these rooms for 2 people.

On arrival we were surprised to see there were no tea or coffee making facilities! Fortunately, we had taken our own (including a kettle) and borrowed cups from the bar near the pool. I would expect to find facilities like this in all hotels these days.

The hotel is situated on the cliff side at different levels. The road within the hotel is very steep and cobbled, not suitable for those who find walking difficult. You have to walk these roads or climb steep stairs to get to and from reception, the bar, the restaurant and the pool. All of these facilities are excellent, so you will certainly want to visit them - you have visit the restaurant for breakfast! I found it easier wearing trainers, but wearing smarter shoes was challenging!

I found the steps easier than the road to negotiate (especially coming down) but in one section there is not hand rail - this needs addressing by the owners.

The owners do provide a little golfing buggy to take you up and down if you wanted it. Although I would imagine it getting booked up at busy times.

The pool is situated at the lowest level but has amazing views. There is a small bar for drinks there. The pool and surrounds are very clean and relaxing. There is only one ladder for access to the pool, in the shallow end. Another is needed at the deep end - for safety reasons at least. There is no life guard.

Despite the reservations mentioned above I would visit the hotel again and would recommend it with the above caveats.

Amazing hotel overlooking the gulf! Our hotel room had a big balcony with the most wonderful view, a very comfortable bed and was very tastefully decorated.
The staff was exceptional, very polite, always smiling and eager to assist us.
The room and shared spaces were spotless and the staff was wearing masks and face shields at all times when in contact with clients. They were also disinfecting shared items such as chairs or tables immediately after a client's departure.
The hotel also has an outstanding kitchen staff and the food is delicious. We ate in on several occasions and everything we've tried was amazing (especially the vegetarian pasta with tomato and caper and the vegetarian and beef burgers). The view from the restaurant is also breathtaking, same as the view from the terrace bar. Even if you don't choose the hotel for your stay, do pay a visit to their restaurant and/or bar.
We loved everything about our stay!
Thank you for making our honeymoon so wonderful. 😊

We spent six pleasant nights at the Liméni Village Hotel in October 2022. We had a Deluxe Double Room commanding panoramic views of the ocean (splendid sunsets), of Mani's imposing mountains, and of the village of Liméni (swimming in its gorgeous turquoise / emerald waters, where one can see the sea turtles, is a must). Whoever conceived and implemented this hotel complex should be congratulated on producing such an architectural gem that respects the surrounding location. The impeccably maintained interiors favour simple shapes and clean-cut lines, while boasting quality pieces of furniture and appliances. Breakfast is exquisite (featuring regional delicacies). Restaurant dishes are way above average. Both the owner and his staff are polite and hospitable, and treated us with warmth, cordiality and generosity. We thank them sincerely and are looking forward to revisiting. Best wishes, Maria & Iannis Remoundos.

The hotel is located between Areopoli and Limeni and all its rooms offer balconies with fantastic view to the sea especially during sunset. There is a swimming pool in the hotel to relax if you want to stay in the hotel and not visit Mani beaches. The breakfast was rich and it was offered in a buffet but served by the personnel with all the precautions taken for COVID-19. Also an open space cafe/restaurant that is very busy during sunset exists in the hotel.

The rooms are individual small houses made of stone and wood with an amazing view to the sea. The breakfast was very nice and with big variety. The rooms need some small repairs in order to be perfect. I would definitely visit it again

We could only stay for one night in August. The hotel is well appointed on a hill overlooking the Limeni coast below and built in the traditional Maniot way, all stone. An attractive property for certain. Our room was relatively small with an even smaller bathroom, more like a phone booth. The rate was very agreeable. The view was amazing. We also enjoyed their swimming pool. Breakfast included the usual items you find in any Greek hotel. Fresh and local fruit and jams were the best. Would definitely return for more days.

Amazing hotel. Extremely children friendly, very polite and accommodating staff, great breakfast and mesmerising views.

The room was very spacious and clean and the grounds were stunning. We would wake up to the smell of the lemon and nectarine blossoms and the sea breeze.

Would highly recommend and revisit.
We were also given great tips for the surrounding area, including areas of interest and restaurants.

We spent two glorious nights at the Limeni Village Hotel while visiting the area to see my grandparents' villages. Prior to arrival, Michalis was so very kind and helpful during the reservation process and even called for credit card details. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by Michalis and his excellent staff. We were provided with a brief orientation to the hotel and brought to our room, #38. It was beautiful - the photos don't really do it justice. It was beautifully decorated and spacious with everything one could possibly need. The balcony offered the most breathtaking views, both day and night. Fabulous for sundown and then stargazing and enjoying the twinking lights across the bay and down into Limeni.
Breakfasts included treats my yiayia used to make, which made it extra special. Eggs, pastries, yogurt, and everything you could possibly want was included on the buffet along with freshly squeezed juice.
We had the pleasure of dining at the hotel in the evening and found the food to be delicious and the setting was amazing overlooking the bay. Our server, Julia (sp.) was such a delight. So kind and helpful to us. Made our stay there extra special.
There is a nice swimming pool - again with gorgeous views. You can walk down some stairs and along a pathway to Limeni fishing village for swimming and tavernas as well.
Thank you Michalis and staff for the best stay!!!

We stayed here for three nights at the end of out tour of the Peleponnese. It was much the largest and most high-end of stops. The room was spacious with a balcony with spectacular views of the bay and old fishing village. The hotel is newly built as a set of traditional Mani towers - detached and each I think with three rooms - nice pool area. The only real drawback is that the hotel is about 100 metres above sea level, so there is a bit of a walk down steep steps and path to the sea (no beach, but swimming possible off the boat dock). Good exercise walking back after dinner in the village.

Yes, there is a path to walk done to the sea. Just in front of the hotel it isn't possible to swim. 100 meters on the right it is possible to swim on a rocky beach with one platform!

There are some rooms on the newer section 30 meters away (without steps) from the main building and parking area. There only steps to go to the restaurant where breakfast and dinner is served.
