Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had two nights here - to our delight, there was no cooker but a BBQ on one of the 3 balconies off the chalet. The accommodation was immaculate and very comfortable. No wifi found but a blessing in disguise! Within walking distance of town and very friendly owners.

We were totally awestruck by the beauty of this place. Surrounded by bush and with the stream running past this beautiful, well appointed chalet, it set us up for a truly memorable weekend. Only minutes away from Raglan and 5 minutes away from the Ocean Beach we had the best of both worlds. Hosts Nick & Haley were discreet and happy to help, or to leave us to ourselves. Loved the bedroom up on the mezzanine floor with it's own balcony. Don't forget to introduce yourselves to Brutus!!

Booked via a GrabOne deal, About 3 Km out of Raglan and situated in nice grounds with a stream running through it.

Good accommodation with extremely comfortable bed. Ideal for two people looking to get away for a few days.

Secluded spa pool just over the bridge.

I had an amazing time with my girlfriend staying at the chalets. The booking process was simple, and late check in was so easy as the keys were in a lock box. The chalet is beautiful with a lot of privacy due to the trees, the exposed wood inside was amazing and there were multiple decking areas to enjoy and catch some sun. The hosts were excellent and went above and beyond to find my girlfriends lost earring and send back to Auckland. Takes a while to walk to the beach but that itself was a great way to start the day. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

A beautiful setting with the chalet in the local bush amongst the tree tops, the fantails, and kereru beautifully entertaining. A beauty of an eel in the strem below was a bit camera shy (on arrival we were asked to not attack it! Apparently they have had previous probs with this). Its a bit of a pain going to the loo in the middle of the night- downstairs, but thats the price of a tree top chalet. The first night we also thought we had a possum stuck in the chimney, in the morning we discovered a small blackbird that was very happy to have the door released and to enjoy its freedom flying straight out the french doors. This is a beautifully appointed place. A spa pool (shared with the other chalet and owners, but with a booking system if required was a highlight and enjoyed with a glass of champagne.) Despite our weekends weather being pretty dismal this was still a nice get away.

This isn't a hotel, B&B or Inn and would be better listed under Other Accommodation. Our chalet was very spacious (more than adequate for just two) and comfortable. Although quite close to the road it was quiet. The resort is a little bit out of Raglan on the road to the famous surfing beach, Ngaruini, which is just a short drive further on, or quite a walk across the road and over the hill. Our chalet lacked for nothing except perhaps a brochure of local attractions and some beach towels. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy the garden or the spa bath.

Loved my stay here, so tranquil and peaceful, beautiful bush setting with stream just outside the studio balcony, very private. Enjoyed my soak in the spa after a bike ride into Raglan township. Bush walk to the beach across the road. Only thing was, the rain kept me awake on the first night, sounded so loud on the tin roof. Apart from that I would def return.
