We enjoyed our two night mid-week stay here. The location is very convenient to walk to restaurants, cafes and shops, but also quiet and with great views from the upper floor. A lovely comfortable bed with good linen and lounge furniture is fine too. Our unit was clean and welcoming with lamps left on. We had no issue accessing keys but the door locks to corridor were a bit tricky. Outside lights above the french doors need attention, perhaps replacement bulbs.

Last time in Raglan we stayed in the cottage this time in the two storey studios. We did enjoy the studios more than the cottage. Very comfortable with nice views from upstairs. The bed also very comfortable with a roomy bedroom with couch to sit on. Downstairs the kitchen was adequate although we only used it for breakfast but the lounge part once again nice and roomy. The only negative was the Wifi network given on the instruction sheet was incorrect also the internet connection was poor each day we were there there was breaks in the connection.
We would definitely stay here again given the comfort and the excellent proximity to town.

The cottage was is very cute. Downstairs is like stepping back in time - and the views are amazing. Fireplace outside is a huge bonus but you need to bring your own firewood/supplies. Appliacnes are a little outdated but in theme with being a cottage. The one thing to note... Ensuite upstairs has NO DOOR at all (not good for anyone who values their privacy) The bathroom downstairs also has no door but does have a curtain. I enjoyed the linen and bathroom products. All in all I would stay again because you can walk everywhere and its a lovely cottage.

My wife and I stayed in apartment no 1.
The apartments are unattended and have a key lock box system to gain access. The manager can be contacted by phone in an emergency. Of course this makes communication about issues difficult, as when we had trouble with the tv. I rang, but had to leave a message.
THe tv instructions were poor and referred to the Samsung tv remote etc, when in fact the tv is a Panasonic. Fortunately a cleaner was able to help.
Other issues were... there was a bed side lamp on one side of the bed only! This is hopeless when one wants to read in bed. A very poor feature.
The shower door would not close and left a gap of about 6 inches. You had to spend your shower time worrying about flooding the bathroom.
Kitchenette utensils were sparse. One small fry pan which if you wanted to poach an
egg, would leak through the handle. There was one sauspan, with no lid! And no dishwasher.
The apartment size is great though, location as well.
With the deficiencies I have stated, I believe that the place is overpriced.
It’s a shame, but we would not stay there again.

We stayed one night at Bow Street Apartment, booked on line and found this difficult as we did a late booking but had to phone to get codes to enter the room as no emails arrived as they should. It was clean and offered everything we required although felt it was overpriced as it was in need of a spruce up. The one thing going for it was the situation right in town we could walk to everything. It was two storied but when you booked on line it asked if you wanted ground level this was not the case with any of them. It had lovely views over the estuary and a nice seating area outside.

Lovely apartment with harbour views and close to the downtown.
Spacious, clean. Nice little patio in the back, birds chirping, nice breeze.
Bedroom upstairs so not handicapped accessible.
Kitchen was well appointed.
Limited TV stations, no Sky Channel.
No staff on site, self check in with information by email.

Great place to stay. Everything was clean and well maintained. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen but it looked well equipped. The bedroom area is huge. Perfect base for a family holiday. I only wish we had booked for more than one night.

We have stayed here several times over the last 5+ years and it is a great place to stay. Right on the main street walking distance to all the best food and drinking spots.
The place is very clean and the sea views from the rooms are amazing.

For those looking for wheel chair access or if you have limited mobility... unfortunately the apartment bathroom is upstairs.

Lovely clean apartment with everything needed for a great night away. Great to be in the heart of Raglan but felt secluded and private. Gorgeous views of the harbour and so nice to wake up to the amazing view. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break away

We stayed in the Bow Street Studios with one teenager. The location was excellent with a great restaurant across the road, and several good cafes and places to dine within easy wlking distance. The unit is well equipped with a private court yard down stairs and lovely peaceful views from the large bedroom upstairs. The young couple managing the units were warm, friendly and very helpful.
