Detailed Reviews
Stayed in a cottage and was blown away by the sheer luxury we encountered, from the theatre lounge, full size kitchen and loungeroom, to the largest bedroom and bathroom on offer. Undercover drive-thru car park, verandah and large tv screen. So much space to move around in as well as storage space in the bedroom and kitchen. This is the 4th time that we have stayed here and will definitely be back

We stayed here 4 years ago after finding the park to be very good overall. It would appear that standards have dropped slightly with a lot of permanent resident now residing resulting in some annoying locals just hanging around looking for a free beer or smoke. The cabin we booked was very good with all the comforts including a comfy bed and an a/c unit which worked well. Overall still a good place to stay.

We arrived here very late but the staff gave us clear instructions on not only getting to the place but also picking up our keys. When we got to our cabins I can only say they were superb. Very neat and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It wasn't our original booking but as we had to change I am glad I changed it to here.

Upon entering the cabin, we were hit with a foul smell of stinky feet and dust and after a quick look over, we noticed the floors had not been vacuumed, table was dirty and sticky, and the toilet bowl was unclean with the seat left up. The roller blinds were covered in Squished insects and the bed had been stripped but not remade, and fresh bedding was NOT left out. My travel companion has asthma and we had to resort to cleaning the air con filter ourselves just to try and get some clean air circulation. We even had to buy air freshener to try and curb the smell.
Would not recommend and we certainly won't be back.

This place was recommended by friends as Pet friendly. Rang to ask about having dogs in Cabins. "There are designated Cabins that are booked well in advance". The dates I wanted in June were booked out. No flexibility about having them in other rooms and quite abrupt.

My husband and I stayed here on our trip from NT to Tassie for our wedding. It was the worst place we stayed at on our return journey - so bad we went out of our way to stay somewhere else on the way home a month later. We were in and tent and had two dogs with us. Only reason we chose here was because it is pet friendly. In summary:
Pros: Clean amenities
Cons:
STANK. Worst smell ever. Sewerage treatment plant smell is horrendous which was made worse by the wind blowing it in our direction
NOISY. When they say highway 1, they mean it. It is literally right next to the 6 lane highway, backing onto very busy intersections as well. We barely slept all night from the noise at ALL hours of the night.
TERRIBLE 'unpowered camping' sites. Im sorry but a grass patch of lawn 5mx2m in between a cabin and the staff workshop does not count as an unpowered camping area. It was really awkward, it was like camping on someones front lawn. We actually complained about this and were moved to a powered caravan site despite being in a tent.
Wont be back and wont recommend. Thankfully we didnt have far to travel the next day as we were exhausted.

My husband and I booked a cabin for us and our 4 children for a one night stopover. We paid $195 for the one night, and were disappointed to find that we had to make all of the beds given that we paid a $10 linen fee per person. There were quilts on the bed already and when pulling them off to put sheets on, the underside of the Quilt and the mattress protector were VERY dirty. There was lots of hair and dirt, obviously they do not get washed. One of the pillow cases we were supplied with also had unwashed stains on it. I can not comment on the rest of the park as we left early the next morning, the highway was noisy but we had expected that.

Stayed in a large 3br cabin. Great size. Not bad value. Having to make our own beds was a bit of a surprise given the $10ea bed linen charge. Air con would struggle if it was really hot but was okay for us in mid 30's temps. Pool area looks great and teenage daughter loved it. Big park - didn't get a great deal of time to look around.Yiros pizza from the pizza place near the Macca's (straight across hwy at lights out the front & about 700m down) was sensational. Would stay again.
