To visit the plitvice park we stayed 2 nights. From our arrival Lucy is very warm. While she is in the middle of the evening meal service, she takes the time to explain all the tricks to optimize our visit the next day: or park, where to enter the park not to wait (entrance 3 to 5 minutes from the room!), the circuit to take with the bus and boat we followed its program to the letter and it was perfect! The room is tastefully furnished, quality bedding and impeccable cleanliness. Only downsides: the room being located right next to the reception, the next morning we wanted to sleep a little to recover from our 13km in the park but there was a little noise with the departures of visitors Thanks to Lucy and her husband for this intimate and warm welcome!

Lucy and Anthony are delightful hosts who truly want their guests to have an superb experience. It is obvious from every interaction that these hosts love having guests. My wife and I arrived after a long drive from Zagreb, tired and hungry. We were made to relax and feel at home immediately. A wonderfully prepared meal, made from locally sourced products was prepared and served by the two. We ate in their lovely garden patio. We enjoyed a lovely Croatian wine and were treated to an after dinner cocktail. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and a box lunch was offered for our Plitivice Lake hike.
Lucy mapped out a strategy for visiting the park that helped us avoid the throngs of bus visitors. The Inn is located just minutes away from an alternate, relatively unknown entrance to Plitivice.
We had a spectacular stay that will be remembered for years to come.

A corner of paradise in the heart of Plitvice Park. Very nice guest house with large, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. And above all you will be welcomed by Lucia and Ante like friends, Lucia will give you valuable advice if you plan to visit the park and Ante will delight you with his cuisine. Fresh and local products, vegetables from the garden, homemade jams .... thank you again to both of you for this lovely stop in our journey.

Plitvica River House is absolutely incredible. It's clean, newly built, furnished beautiful and very big and spacious. When we arrived the owners greeted us and from thet moment on, they helped us navigate our plans to explore the national park, gave us incredible suggestions and were there to answer any questions. In addition to the beautiful bright and clean rooms with all the amenities, their restaurant is 5 star! The owner is the chef and his wife Lucy serves the guests. It was the most delicious and most elegant dinner we had in Croatia - and we enjoyed it sitting at beautiful tables on the lovely back patio. We were completely wowed by this experience and highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

We won the jackpot on accommodations near entrance 3 of the park. The owner was the most friendly professional proprietor I have ever encountered. We arrived in a rain storm and he quickly made us comfortable and we ended up eating dinner at the house. A fabulous dinner at the house. Everything he makes is at gourmet level, everything is home made. He even packed us picnic lunches for the hike, making mine a vegetarian eggplant sandwich, so delicious!
Took time to write us an itinerary of how to navigate the park based on our time schedule, it was perfect.
The actual hotel itself is very new, with a perfect rustic feel, large bedroom, huge bathroom. We scored on this one!

Wow is what I can say first. From the very start with a very warm welcome from Tony we felt like we had picked the right spot and boy was it. On the way there one of our cars hit a rock on the side of the narrow road and Tony was already assisting us with information on who could change out the tire. Then he helps carry our luggage for 8 people to our rooms. Then we have some welcome cocktails and then an incredible dinner! All of this with the most cheerful approach with a beaming smile on his face. Things just got better each day with the delicious meals he made us (breakfast, dinner and even a sack lunch for the lakes trail) and you could clearly see his chef skills he acquired on a major cruise line. If you want to stay with someone who has covered every detail this is the place! He even provided restaurant recommendations for the rest of our trip down the Croatian cost that were spot on. Rooms were spotless and well laid out and very roomy. Very peaceful place to stay with some mini falls/river at the end of his driveway. We couldn’t have asked for more. Come visit Tony, you won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommended! Ante is one of the best hosts I have met on my many trips around the world.
A person with so much passion and hospitality is so rare, we felt so comfortable from minute 1 that we would have liked to stay longer.
The tips for hikes with our kids were great. Entrance 3 to the national park was very close to the accommodation.
Highly recommended for families!
The kitchen was fantastic and I recommend everyone to have dinner there. The breakfast and the lunch boxes were delicious and the dinner was unique.

We just had the most amazing stay at Plitvica River House and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the wonderful Plitvice National Park. Lucy and Ante were the most service-minded and warmest hosts we have ever come across. Starting from the communication sent out before our arrival (to help us prepare our visit to the park and our dinner at the hotel), giving us and our kids a warm welcome upon our arrival, giving us their best recommendations on how to customise our visit to the park to make the most out of it while avoiding crowds and even afterwards by sending recommendations for the next destinations on our itinerary. In addition, the food was delicious and cooked with love. The kids agreed this was the best hotel ever and we can only agree.

An unforgettable stay. A huge thank you to Lucia and Ante for their extraordinary hospitality. We spent 2 nights at Plitvica River House and we were enchanted by the place, surrounded by nature, calm. Breakfast and evening meal, excellent, all made and served with pleasure and love. In addition to all this Lucia gave us excellent advice for visiting the lakes and waterfalls and Ante for a short walk after the evening meal. We arrived after a long drive from split. Lucy, the owner and hostess, welcomed us warmly and immediately explained all we needed to know about how to access the walk around the lake. The house is immaculate and so clean with nature surrounding. Her energy and joy quickly, made us feel so relaxed. The wonderful dinner à la cart menu is prepared by her husband Ante. Look no further and book. What I noticed the most was her communication prior to our arrival. We felt like family immediately thank you so much, Lucy! We hope to return with family someday.
