We have recently returned from an 11 night stay at Villa Kaya. We stayed in Beach Glass a beautifully appointed villa style suite with amazing panoramic views of Morne Rouge beach, the bay and the hills beyond. The villa itself, the communal areas, gardens and grounds are all meticulously maintained. We looked forward to breakfast each morning (prepared by Agatha), it was Caribbean style with a combination of fresh fruit, yogurt, cold meat, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, omelette, homemade bread and pastries. There is an airconditioned breakfast room, or as we preferred to do, you can eat outside under a large, covered dining terrace. All the staff were so helpful and genuinely pleased to have us as their guests. Mia (the manager) ensured that we had everything that we needed and checked in with us every morning to see if we needed assistance with anything at all. She organised taxis, restaurant bookings and car hire. She gave us lots of information about where to eat and places to visit. Villa Kaya is set into a hillside and as such has steps on different levels, which was not a problem for us but may need extra consideration if you have limited mobility. We loved the setting/location of Villa Kaya which was a short walk to Morne Rouge beach and a 15 minute stroll to Grand Anse beach. This meant that nearby restaurants or those on the beach could easily be reached on foot. We will definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending it to the more independent traveller who wants to experience sensibly priced, high quality, small scale, individual accommodation with attentive staff in a beautiful location.

Last minute change in our plans and Craig was able to accommodate us at his beautiful Villa Kaya on short notice. Craig was a great communicator and greeted us upon arrival. Great place that is new, extremely comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with high-end touches. The place has multiple suites, but you feel like you have the place to yourself! We especially enjoyed the paddleboards and the pool. Great place to rest, relax, and unwind. Truly made our trip and highly, HIGHLY recommend Villa Kaya.

Mia and her staff were absolutely wonderful. Superb breakfast served up by the lovely Agatha. Wendyann looked after our room a treat and 'Jack' was always on hand to help with anything he was asked. Only a short stroll to the beautiful Mourne Rouge beach. Absolute bliss, we have already booked for next visit!

Villa Kaya is a lovely property in a great location. It’s a 1 minute walk to a small very quiet beach and 5 mins from Grand Anse beach. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you, Mia (manager) booked us tours and taxis and all the staff checked with us regularly that everything was ok and did we need anything. The room we had was the Driftwood suite which was lovely, very comfy bed. It has a small kitchen area including a microwave and hob but we ate all the time; the only thing we really used was the fridge and kettle. There is a restaurant a 1 minute walk from the Villa, Brisa Mar which was nice but there are lots of places to eat either a 10-15 min walk or a short taxi ride away. There are a couple of beach bars on the small beach that are great for lunch. There is an honesty bar in a clubhouse which we used a couple of times and the drinks are very reasonable priced compared to other bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend Villa Kayak to anyone, you won’t be disappointed if you want a quiet relaxing get away, but if you want hustle and bustle and a large resort then this isn’t the place for you.

We have recently returned from a 7 night stay at Villa Kaya and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation is very cleverly designed, with each suite feeling very private. We were only aware of our fellow guests at breakfast, which was a very enjoyable mix of local dishes as well as more traditional choices, something different each day. The pool and deck areas were excellent, together with snorkelling equipment and paddle boards. The views of Morne Rouge bay were just beautiful and we enjoyed this beach very much, as it was visited by locals too. La Plywood and Rocky’s were great beach bars. Every staff member we encountered were so friendly and helpful. High praise must go to Mia, the property manager. Nothing was too much trouble, she was so friendly and recommended and booked great dinner locations and taxis for us. Highly recommend Villa Kaya.

We loved our stay at Villa Kaya. The rooms are bright and modern overlooking the bay with incredible views of the sunset and scenery more generally. The grounds were lush and they clearly take pride in both the interior and external design. Incredibly friendly staff, especially Mia, who could not do enough to be helpful and accommodating.
Fantastic location next to BBC beach and bars/restaurants. Free transport to the Laluna Boutique hotel and restaurant which is also great for a special meal / cocktails. Very much appreciated the free use of the paddle boards also. I truly believe this gem deserves the 5 star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review.
In terms of feedback. The club house which is open 24hrs is a great concept. There are no televisions in the room so this is where you would watch TV. It also runs an honesty bar where you help yourself and declare what you have drunk. We went out most evenings or chilled in our room, but on occasion we wanted to catch the news/watch a film and the room was in use every evening by some long term guests who had adopted it as their private living room each evening. On my last night, out of curiosity I asked if they were in there each evening and they simply said yes. On one occasion they both had their feet on the only other two chairs we could sit on near the TV and did not offer to move them.
We could only use the room of an evening on our first eve when we got there early as we were so tired. The couple arrived and looked surprised to see us and from that day they were there in good time each evening until late at night. This is not the villa’s fault, I just add this for future guests, especially longer term guests to be mindful and if you know you’ve hogged the room three eves in a row, as an example, maybe offer it over if other guests come in to use it. But apart from that niggle. It was perfect.

Villa Kaya is a magical place. Its the best place to stay by the BBC beach area. The views were amazing and it was such a cool setting with each villa. My husband and I had a great time snorkeling, stand up paddle boarding and lounging in the pool. It was a 4 minute walk to BBC beach or if you are a strong swimmer, the hotel dock is less than 200 yards (188 meters) from the beach. You can also paddle board there too. The staff was amazing, very accommodating and friendly. The villa was clean and had everything we needed.
We walked to Grand Anse beach several times, but also opted to taxi/rideshare also when it was too hot out. The walk is a hilly walk, but that was our workout for the day. It's a short walk to Quarantine Point which had amazing views of the sunset. The best sunsets we've ever seen. I would definitely recommend Villa Kaya and will be back again.

A year ago we found this lovely gem and we did not hesitate to return. Villa Kaya suits our needs perfectly and provides the ideal setting to enjoy our last few days in Grenada. Mia, the hotel manager welcomed us back with open arms. We arrived on Grenada’s Independence Day holiday and as we waited for our room to be ready Mia offered us some juice, cake and Grenada’s national dish called Oil down, a nice little treat. Shortly after, we settled into the Seashell villa like we had never left! The bed is so comfortable, I wish we could take it home! During this stay we experienced quite a few rain showers and it was lovely observing them from the dry and comfort of the huge covered deck area of the Seashell villa.
Once again we enjoyed taking out the paddle boards in the bay and stopping for lunch and rum punch at La Plywood beach bar. The iRocker inflatable paddle boards and paddles are now on their second year and are holding up well although they are beginning to show signs of wear and tear.
The breakfast spread was lovingly prepared by Agatha and it was nice to chat and catch up. Housekeeping by Karina and Madonna is exceptional and everything is spotless. Kalim helped us with our bags upon leaving and ensured we were comfortable as we waited for our taxi.
Thank you Mia and your team for another wonderful stay, an experience that feels like a home away from home!

Villa Kaya is a great place to stay. It is not part of the busy area of St. George. That being said, it is easily within driving distance of St. George. The facility is lovely. We loved our room and the common areas. The bed was comfy, the shower was great and everything was clean and comfortable. The view from the rooms is beautiful and looks out toward the Caribbean Sea. The staff is great. Mia was so helpful and Agatha made delicious breakfasts. I am struggling to remember the rest of the staff's names, but every one of them was friendly. There are restaurants right down the hill from Villa Kaya. We had delicious meals at Savvy's Bar and Grill at Mt. Cinnamon Beach Resort and their beach restaurant, which was especially good. The Umbrella bar was fun and the West Indies Brewery was fine for beer, but not much for food. The Aquarium restaurant toward the airport was very good and the ambiance is wonderful. Be sure to check out the other areas around the island because they are interesting and enjoyable.

This is the best villa experience I’ve had to date. From the time you walk in, the ocean view takes your breath away and it gets even more amazing when you check into your room. You can tell that there was a lot of attention to detail in the finishes; everything is of high quality down to bedding and bath towels. (The beach towels are the best!!) While you prepare your food in the outdoor kitchen, you can watch the turtles swim by or take an early morning swim in the calm beach waters. Definitely a must do if you are looking for quality time and relaxation. I’ll be back again!
