Detailed Reviews
When all comments about a place are positive, you tend to think it's all exaggeration. But for this one, they are actually true. Situated in the little village of La Morra in the middle of the Barolo region, this small and cosy hotel is a haven of peace and quiet. The wifi password says it all: welcomehome! The owners and staff are all very nice and helpful. The garden, the pool with continuous soft music, the outside area are all well maintained and provide for a restful ambiance. Even the children of other guests seemed to calm down with the general well-being. Breakfast is fantastic! Dogs are welcome. We can only recommend this place!

We booked two rooms for our tall family of four (tall husband and two tall teenage boys). We can not say enough incredible things about this property. A traditional Italian villa in Barolo wine country updated in design and modern amenities, AC worked even in early August (which is saying a lot for Italy). Property is centrally located in La Morra, we had no trouble walking to dinner every night. The property is gorgeous…breakfast is included and delicious traditional Italian spread…they will also cook you eggs on demand. Pool is fantastic, lounge is small but great for aperitivo or night cap, courtyard is beautiful at night to enjoy a glass of wine. Private spa is an incredible space, we enjoyed massages here. Beds are comfortable, Grown Alchemist products are appreciated in bathrooms. And last, but definitely NOT least, the staff has been amazing. They are accommodating, kind, helpful, and great hosts! Thank you!

Perfect gateway to Piedmonte and Langhe
We had a perfect stay at the Corte Gondina hotel, and utilized La Morra as our gateway to explore the Langhe. La Morra has excellent dining options, allowing you to walk to dinner from the hotel, rather than having to drive small turning country roads after a few bottles of the amazing wines. Bruno and his family are perfectionists and run an extremely clean, inviting, and memorable stay experience. Hard to imagine it could be better. Despite our not speaking Italian, they made sure we felt welcome and not embarrassed with pronunciations. This is an undiscovered gem , but the secret is out!

+1
We were 4 couples - 3 from Germany - one from the US. What an amazing stay we had. The hotel was beautiful, clean and very comfortable and cozy. All of the staff was extremely friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate us. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were amazing The breakfast buffet every day was plentiful and you could even order eggs and bacon. The garden area and outside seating were very inviting and that is where we spent most of our evenings. The area around La Morra is so picturesque - all the little towns have beautiful churches, very cute restaurants and wine bars. This was one of the most perfect stays ever. Very grateful for the excellent service and accommodations. Hope to return someday.

Amazing Boutique Hotel, the most elegant and relaxing hotel i've ever stayed in. The staff and owners could not have done more to make our stay perfect. the rooms and beds were superb and breakfast was the best. We didn't get the chance to use the outdoor pool area as the weather was rainy however it looked very inviting and pristine.

A beautiful boutique hotel with so much charm. The rooms were a good size with lots of natural light. The bathroom was large with a walk in shower. The room had a terrace with a bistro set so you can sit outside and enjoy the view. There was a garden with seating and a lovely pool with loungers. Parking is available. The breakfast was a continental breakfast with cold cuts, cheese, fresh baked goods, yogurt, fruit and other goodies. The walk to town was short, but up hill on a narrow street. The town is small but lovely to walk through the several restaurants and enotecas and a main piazza with an amazing view of the langhe valley. Overall a great experience!

This was a return visit after 6 years. Every bit as good if not better thank you Bruno Elana Valenta and Matteas.
This time we brought friends always wondering if they would like it as much as us - they did! Our friends had a birthday... Elana produced drinks and snacks before dinner, and booked dinner for us in Restoranto Nesto (excellent)
This is a really great hotel in a lovely area

Elena, Bruno, Valentina et al are a class act. We also stayed here in 2018. This is a beautiful boutique hotel. Rooms are large, light & quiet with large bathrooms. Such hotels should provide a secure wifi for guests. The breakfast is excellent with a large variety of first class local produce. A large garden area for relaxing. Secure car parking onsite. All the staff are friendly & welcoming. The perfect base to explore the Barolo region.

We enjoyed a week at Corte Gordina. Super friendly staff, the two owners most of the time on site. Nice cosy and clean rooms.
Some painting and renovation work was disturbing but it's also showing, that this place is well maintained.
Excellent breakfast and because of Covid19 dinner from a Michelin star restaurant was served. It was excellent and also the wine list is good.

We had a private patio all to ourselves. On a sunny afternoon with umbrella covering our faces, we dozed off. Total relaxation. We loved the pillows and the mattress. Just the right stiffness (or softness.) Not to mention the breakfast. Freshly made pastries. A ton of choices. Fruits, cheeses, yogurt… Everything and anything a boutique hotel would offer. We loved our stay. Highly recommend this place.
