Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were offered a Villa as we arrived at night Our experience that night - no water in the rooms - no room slipper was placed - the carpet was extremely dirty - the phone wasn't working So we clearly had to walk yo the receptionist to tell them that we need these. They told us water is out of stock and they have one bottle so they can give us that. Clearly, there is no grocery store close by, and it's a distance. They arranged the slipper but not the phone. Next day morning, we realised that the flush in one of the bathrooms isn't working. We had a tour so we had to rush. We asked the receptionist, and she said in an hours time. So it wa inconvenient for us to keep waiting for someone to fix it and we use done rest room (ofxoure a family), for this, I wished we had a different room at the main hotel. So we when complained the manager came and started screaming in russian that they leave the hotel and go else where if its so much problem rather than apologising for the delay or the inconvenience. When we somehow translated them that we will put this in reviews. Our room was fixed and much cleaner that the previous days, phone fixed etc... there is an aircon in one bedroom on the 1st floor and living room for people who need them. I have rated them 1 because of the tone and behaviour of the manager while the other employees were little accommodating and polite. Things can go 5 please fix them and don't remove the frustration on the guest. (Before u ask ur guests to leave, think about money they gave u, the inconvenience they had, and empathise).

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for two nights during our excursion throughout Kyrgyzstan. The room we stayed was huge, comprising an entry hall, a big twin bedroom with fridge and coffee machine and a bathroom. It comprised also a balcony with a nice view over the city. We know however (because we were part of a group of 14 people) that not every room in the hotel is that big or has a balcony. I guess we were just lucky… Anyway, it was a very comfortable stay. The staff was helpful every time we asked for their assistance. It is a pity however that the hotel is clearly a little old, lacking some maintenance in small details that could enhance the guest’s comfort (e.g. one can see all the plumbing hanging from the walls, a stuck toilet flush that I had to repair myself, a bathtub that is not well fixed to the ground, being a bit unstable, etc.).

Great hotel. When I entered my room for the first time, I thought to myself - I didn't know that something like that could be found in Karakol. The room was very spacious. It was perfectly clean. The staff was very kind and caring - especially the smiling girl from the reception who always enhanced my day with her charming smile.

Clean, spacious and friendly hotel. Centrally located. A nice place. Decent breakfast. It was nice to come to a hotel which had English speaking staff after a poor experience. Good service. The rooms are quite spacious but the bathrooms could have been done better.

It was a bad experience due to windows seal has gone in the room woke up around 3 am wind whistling sound so i had to change room midfle of the night. Rooms are fine but who design this hotel had no idea , No bed side lamps no socket by the bed only one massive bright central light. Otherwise clean big bedroom . Bathroom big and hot water tank in the bathroom after usage makes hell of a noise till temp set. Breakfast below average It is okey for 1 night stay

The hotel is quite new and very nicely appointed. We had one of the front rooms which was very large and spacious. The bed was fairly comfortable, a softer mattress would have been good. There’re was no fridge in the room and inexplicably for a new hotel no air conditioning. This I imagine is one reason why it is only rated 4*. Would stay again.

I would rank this hotel 5 stars if it was not for the lazy staff at front desk, who did not assist us with the luggage neither at the reception and nor at departure. the facility is formidable the rooms are specious clean with all necessary amenities, clean and comfortable. overall we had a very pleasant stay
