From the moment you arrive and are greeted by the friendliest and most helpful receptionists as you look through to the lagoon pool, you know you are in the right place! What a beautiful setting. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment overlooking the resort. The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated and we loved staying there so much we rebooked for the following weekend, of which the next time we stayed in a one bedroom apartment overlooking the ocean. It is right in the middle of Maroochydore and Mooloolaba so we walked to both easily. The grounds keepers should be given a medal for their outstanding upkeep of this resort. It truly was a pleasure staying here and would definitely go back.

This resort is located across the road from the beach and is in easy driving of a number of local attractions. The 2 br unit had a nice ensuite with turbo bath and the main bathroom had a large shower so all tastes were catered for. The resort had a gym with sauna and a number of pools so would be ideal during summer. The staff were very friendly and efficient and checking in and out was easy and fast. The weather was not the best during our stay so those with children may have found it difficult to keep them busy as a lot of the TV Channels didn't appear to work and the wifi was the worst I have encountered in a long time, it kept dropping out and even when available it was so slow to be useless. If the lack of wifi and tv didn't bother you then this would be a resort I would recommend. But if you are like me and depend on the wifi then I wouldn't go here.

Only positive with this hotel was the lagoon style pool. Kids and adults loved it. For $1000 a night the 2 bedroom apartment itself was well and truly below standard and quality. Very old and worn with a 1980s style tile throughout and inside bathrooms. Although clean, everything appeared old, worn and had a musky smell attached. Lounge and chairs were wet and sticky. When the fridge was opened, one of the shelves fell out spilling milk all over the floor to discover it was held on by duct tape. The upper/top balcony had access to the roof of the hotel where there were large vents and fan VERY unsafe for my three children under 8 who discovered it. It was later locked by staff. All of my concerns were communicated to front desk and I requested a refund for the following 2 nights as we wanted to check in to alternative accommodation with better value for money. We were told the manager was not available until the next day and we would be contacted. Radio silence. We are seasoned travellers and this is the first accommodation that did not meet our expectations for the amount of money we paid. Beware of this accommodation. Online photos are definitely photoshopped/brightened to make it look new!!!

Thank you for expressing your concerns regarding the price, I would like to confirm that the high price was due to the period of your booking. Due to our limited occupancy over the Christmas and New Year period our prices do rise to accommodate this high demand. All of our apartments are unique, but we endeavour to present them to the highest possible standard. The rooftop entry cannot be locked for fire/emergency safety reasons, as it gives direct access to the fire doors located on the rooftop. We strongly advise the children are never left unsupervised on the balcony, rooftop, gym or pool areas for safety reasons. We appreciate your concern and thank you for bringing it to our attention. We actually didn't make it to the Oaks Seaforth Resort. We booked for 3 nights during December through Wotif; it would have been our first family holiday with a toddler and a 12 year old and noted on our booking the ages of our children (1 and 12. We only booked 3 nights because we weren't sure how we'd go with a toddler). We thought the lagoon pool was particularly toddler friendly, which is what sold the resort to us over other places we looked at. Within a few days of booking, the resort contacted me and told me Wotif had double booked the 3 bedroom apartments and advised that we could have a 2 bedroom apartment "at a discounted rate", or we could have a one bedroom apartment and a 2 bedroom apartment. When I asked if the apartments would adjoining, I was advised no, and that the the 2 rooms may not even be on the same floor. This was not going to work with 2 children. When I asked what the discounted rate would for the 2 bedroom apartment I was told the "listed" price (i.e. the advertised price) - therefore NOT discounted. I told them I would speak to my partner and get back to them. I checked their website and found that they themselves were still advertising the 3 bedroom apartments, at a slightly lower rate than Wotif were advertising the 3 bedroom apartments. When I emailed them and asked them about this they wouldn't answer my question. They cancelled my booking with Wotif before I could confirm (Wotif emailed me). I'm sure it's a lovely resort to stay at (we'll probably never know now), but if you book for a short stay over the December school holidays (in particular), they'll probably cancel your booking for guests who want to book for a longer stay.

Hi, I apologise for your negative experience. I have investigated your booking, it looks like online websites had a temporary allocation issue. We had no 3 bedrooms left at the time your booking was made. We made Wotif aware and the cancellation was sent out to avoid charging you as the room type was overbooked. It seems as though the staff have tried to offer a downgrade as that was all we had available. I apologise you felt as though we didn't priorities your booking, it was not at all that anyone had a longer stay, it was that other bookings were made first. We do value all out guests and I'm so sorry to hear had an awful experience. Disappointing. Rooms old and worn. Bathrooms old and shower over bath hard to access as it is so high. Anyone with age/mobility problems would not feel safe trying to get in. My Titanium membership benefits were not offered even though an upgraded room was available on checkin. Staff were friendly though and it is close to the beach and a local surf club

The resort's location is excellent and the view from our room was excellent, however the quality of the room left much to be desired and did not match the price-tag we paid. There was a hole in the ensuite shower, doors that didn't open and a kitchen that needed some money spent on it (esp the fridge which leaked every day). We have had much better rooms for a lot less and it took the gloss off from our family holiday which had been 2 years' in the making.

Too much furniture made it difficult to get around. The converted dining room into a bedroom was ridiculous! The tv siting in front of the wall tv (I assume doesn’t work) was laughable. The tv didn’t work in my bedroom/no remote. The aircon/heating in my bedroom also didn’t work. Only 1 bedside lamp had a light bulb. A hand towel would be a nice addition. Rooms directly above the shops facing the main road should be discounted due to noise. My child nearly scalded herself in the shower because the hot water is dangerously hot!!

Due to our Previously booked stay having pool renos during our planned stay, we needed to rebook to also allow for an extra person. Called Oaks Direct and Spoke with Reception staff to discuss our needs and facilities. We needed to factor in accessibly bathroom, lift and pool for a limited mobility Guest.
We even booked a shower chair to the resort which was delivered to the room and collected for us.
Check in and out was smooth and easy.
the room OMG amazing 3 bedroom apartment on 5 level with amazing view of the ocean. all rooms had KingSingles and were comfy.
Main space was clean and well presented - you could easily live here!
The only very minor things that cropped up was a leaky fridge and non functional hairdryer, a quick call to reception sorted both with out fuss.
2 Pools - amazing even managed to get the limited mobility person in the lagoon pool which was enjoyed!
The resort seems to cater for short term and long term stays and even permanent residents, with spoke with both short stay and permanent who also loved the resort.
Security Entry and exit seemed a little excessive but understand the need for it.
Would definetly stay again and reccomend to others.
My tip to others for any needs or concerns contact direct reception talk to them if you have needs and they can be sorted!

We booked with a member discount which was great value for the price we paid. Room was clean with all amentities and exceptional view (2 bedrooms beachfront apartment). In house-guest Wifi wasn't great but it wasn't a big deal for us. The location is central to everything you need. Very please with our choice, highly recommended!

No not really.. there is maybe one okay bistro in front of the resort but everywhere else you would need to drive to.
Yes but amount of mb was not much for free , if you've got a decent amount with your mobile phone plan you can use personal hotspot and then use your ipad ect , much faster and definitely cheaper .

We got a special deal. 3 days mid-week was $549.00. You could also go on the weekend but only the 2 nights for the same price. The penthouse takes 4 people. Hope this helps you....
