Dazzling whitewashed, cube-shaped buildings and cobbled paths set against the backdrop of a deep blue sea and sky, Mykonos Grand Hotel & Resort has a superb beachfront location barely 3 miles from Mykonos town. Opposite is the sacred island of Delos, the birthplace of Apollo. Scattered across an extensive 5 acres to provide space and privacy, the 96 generously-sized rooms and suites are decorated in bright white with splashes of blue, some with private pools. Furniture and decorative lighting is elegant and streamlined, recalling mid-twentieth century styling. This restful enclave has a pampering spa which offers a variety of natural treatments based on traditional Greek techniques, a 500sqm swimming pool and a spectacular outdoor amphitheater for exercise classes. The hotel’s Nama Restaurant is roomy, allowing for the generous spacing of tables inside and extensive al fresco dining and offers, breath taking views across the Aegean Sea. There is also a Wine Cellar with a wide range of excellent Greek and international wines. Other resort’s facilities include tennis and a Technogym fitness center.

Just adorable, luxury boutique hotel with incredible service.
The room was very nice and spacious, it came with an outdoor jacuzzi, a balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the magnificent sunsets and seaview with dropping mountains in the horizon.
The bathroom was provided with complimentary L’Occitane products, the cupboard was also filled with complimentary beach bag and a hat 🧢 as well as disinfectant kit to prevent from Covid-19.
The room service was extremely fast! We asked for an ice bucket and they brought it straight away!
The staff was just phenomenal - so friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Fonita who was looking after us at breakfast. She had a great energy and made sure we tasted all of the best dishes available on the menu. She even packed a homemade granola and Greek yogurt for me to take away which I found so endearing.
The dinner menu was outstanding- very delicious and flavoursome dishes.
The pool area looked amazing. I travel a lot and seen so many different types of hotels and services provided. I can honestly say,I highly recommend this hotel in Mykonos. I’d stay here again

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and resort. Everything about this place is wonderful and gorgeous. The location is absolutely stunning - certainly the best part of Mykonos to stay in as it's close enough to town for the nightlife but far enough from the crowds. The hotel has a private and secluded beach which is a haven and much better than the other public beaches which are crowded, busy and next to roads and pathways.
Definitely recommend it. You won't regret it.

A few names to mention who made our stay memorable. Thank you for your wonderful service and positivity.

Vicky gave us a warm beautiful welcome althought it was later during the night that made the start of our stay easy

Vagelis, Fotini and Christos for serving us well at breakfast and meal times. We were catered for as per our dietary requirements and being vegan, I didn't have any problems at this resort.

Michaelis made sure our balcony dinner table was set so well so we could enjoy our dinners taking in stunning views.

Panayiotis and George for looking after us very well at the beach and wonderful talks.

Our Spa experience was incredible and their facilities in general are amazing.

Hoping to return to this place again.

This hotel is all about attention to detail. All staff are outstanding because they are friendly, genuine and knowledgeable.
The decor is calming yet trendy, modern and minimalistic. Beds extremely comfy.
Small complimentary gifts left in your room throughout your stay to ensure extra comfort (eye masks, lip balms etc). The same applies when you are either around the pool or at their private beach (sunglass cleaning, cooling towels).
The ladies on reception want to make things easy for you, especially when it comes to Covid testing admin, booking trips, airport transfers etc.
The breakfast is of a high standard. So much choice, and to put this into perspective I had açai bowls and matcha lattes most days - not something you see on the menu at many hotels of this level.
Mykonos grand has thought of everything to guarantee a relaxing stay. My only regret was not noticing service wasn’t included in our final bill, so feeling guilty!!!

We’ve been fortunate enough to travel to every corner of the globe but can honestly say we’ve never stayed in the same hotel more than once….except for the Mykonos Grand Hotel & Resort. This says it all. Stunning hotel located about a 15 minute drive from the port of Mykonos. Not only does the location provide an incredibly tranquil environment in comparison to other 5* hotels closer to the town, which can be quite hectic with all the traffic that passes by, but also a fitness lovers paradise, with a stunningly scenic 40 minute walk to the port, should you be that way inclined, taking in the coastal views and quirky towns along the way.

Our room was immaculate and cleaned to perfection everyday. Our every query was catered for with care. Big shoutout to Vicky for making our stay so relaxing.

Great facilities - tennis court, breathtaking spa, pool, gym, beach, private shuttle bus for hotel guests to and from the port of Mykonos every night. The list goes on and on.

If I had to give any form of negative feedback, it would be minor. The ATV rental company the hotel uses requires riders to be over the age of 25, a bit excessive in my opinion. To overcome this we walked down to the town of Ornos and were able to rent some fantastic ATVs for the whole family as long as they were over the age of 16. The second minor gripe would be the hotel restaurant. Breakfast and lunch were both delicious with a great variety of choices but the dinner menu was limited and the meal itself was not great.

Other than that, it was flawless and we’ll definitely be back next summer.

We spent our honeymoon here. So glad we chose it. There is nothing to complain about. Even the guests were super nice! Everything you have read about Vicky is true, she’s amazing, goes above and beyond. She even bought her own aloe Vera from home to work because my wife got sunburnt one day. All the staff are great, and friendly, and you look forward to chatting to them at breakfast, or on the private beach or by the pool. The service is really excellent here. Big shout out to George and Panayotis on the beach. Food is very good, breakfast exceptional. And the tuna tacos are super good. Hippie Fish next door is great for sunset dinner.
Our room was beautiful, we were upgraded to a open plan sea view room. Spacious and bright with gorgeous bathroom, including a steam room. Views of Delos Island and big enough balcony for a lounger and table and chairs. My wife also used the spa, and was very happy with her massage.
Finally, very impressive Covid Secure practices, we felt extremely safe here, it’s clear the staff take it very seriously. Hand sanitizer everywhere, temp checks on arrival, staff wear visors and gloves all day long.
Would definitely return to this hotel.

An overdue review as we visited in 2020 but had to leave a review for the most incredible stay we had for my husband's special birthday even in covid times. Covid safety protocols were meticulous, they upgraded us to an incredible room with a view of the sunset and a hammock on the balcony and offered us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine, bookmark with night light attached and a lovely hat, both of which I still use. Beautiful big bath tub in the room. Luxurious spa. All the offerings and choice of a buffet breakfast but served to us a la cart at the time due to covid measures (may have changed back now, I'm not sure. ) Pool bar staff were always chatting and making us feel at home, freebies like mini ice cream cones by the beach and pool. Such warm, clear gorgeous water when we went (which was August). Short walk into Mykonos old town but there are steps so be aware of that if mobility issues. Spa is incredible as is the relaxation area you are taken to afterwards. If eating at the restaurant for dinner, I recommend booking a table at sunset time - a beautiful view as it sets over the pool. A really experienced member of staff who told us she had worked there for many years came round every morning to talk to all the guests at breakfast time to see if she could help book tours, restaurants etc and to check the stay was going well. What a lovely touch. Exemplary service. The hotel in peak season isn't cheap but it felt really worth the splurge and really is a place I would recommend if you want to go somewhere really special and when I can, I would love to return. Thank you so much to all the staff for such a wonderful stay.

We stayed here for 12 nights in august 2021 and its taken me a while to decide to post this review because I had been asked not to. However I decided to post it because the point of TA is to be honest and help people make informed choices, so here goes.
Yes this is a five star hotel with most of the advantages you'd expect. However rooms are not very well designed, bathrooms with no doors in some rooms, hence light comes through. Not enough storage for 2 people staying longer than 5 days.
And the biggest issue that no one mentioned and should be mentioned is the neighbor from hell. The beach restaurant next door hosts dj's 2 or 3 times a week with very loud music until 3-4am in the morning. And if your room is on that side of the hotel (which most are to be honest ) you will definitely hear it. So if you are sensitive to noise and plan on not partying all night while in Mykonos this hotel is not for you.
Hotel management tried to excuse the problem by saying that people don't come to the island to sleep. Perhaps but you do come back to your hotel to sleep. By definition hotels offer rooms to sleep, excuse not valid. What is more annoying is when you see that all the clubs that have hotels right next to them stop the music at 12-1am tops, yet here they seem to have some kind of different arrangement with the bar that doesn't prioritize the client.
Other than that every thing else is very good. The hotel has its own private beach, which very few hotels have on the island. That beach is exclusive to hotel guests and the service by the guys there is beyond excellent with good food. But you also have the advantage of being right next door to the infamous neighbor that has a very good restaurant that you can go to in less than a minute.
All the amenities of the hotel are also what you'd expect of a luxury hotel, good gym, great spa, nice restaurant, good housekeeping and above all the staff are all very very nice and helpful.
I only gave 3 points because when a guest tells you they are celebrating a birthday and a first wedding anniversary you'd expect some kind of gesture from a so called 5 star property. And also because of the music problem which shouldn't even happen with a hotel of that category. And it seems nothing is being done to change it since this year again in 2022 the issue prevails. I stayed elsewhere this year but I witnessed it.

Word of advice to management: prioritise your guests wellbeing and not your neighbors business.

When I told a good friend who has worked in the hotel industry for 30 years that I had booked here, she said that when she stayed here it was one of her best hotel experiences ever. And she was right!

There are a number of reasons we loved this resort.

First, the property is absolutely stunning. While it has about 90 rooms/suites, it feels much more intimate as the rooms cascade in multiple buildings down a hill towards the sea. The architecture really captues the sense of place - you know and feel that you are in Mykonos. The rooms are well designed with the tub and shower offering a view of the sea while you shower.

The facilities are fantastic. Great spa, beautiful pool and sundeck (multiple levels so you never feel like there are a lot of people around you). The pool is the largest on the island from what I understand. It is also one of the few resorts with a private beach. They provide a shuttle in the evening into town which makes it easy to shop or dine after a day by the pool/beach. Although the restaurant is quite good (breakfast is amazing!).

But what really differentiates the property is the staff and the service they provide. Vicky from the front desk was absolutely amazing - we felt like we were staying in a friends home and she was taking care of us. Olga in the restaurant we just loved, as we did with George. I loved having breakfast and watching families come down and the staff hugging and kissing the kids. It's clear they get lots of repeat guests.

We cannot wait to return and spend more time! We so hated leaving!

We booked a 4 night stay at the Mykonos Grand and it did not disappoint! From start to finish, we felt pampered and relaxed. This lovely boutique hotel is quite unique and we loved the layout and the vibe. We reserved a premium seaview room with private jacuzzi on the terrace. The room was immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated. Dinners at the Nama restaurant were excellent. We treated ourselves to a private dinner on the beach one night and Phillipos did an amazing job of seeing to our every need, even jumping in as photographer and DJ. The lobster risotto was divine! The breakfast each morning served by the pool was a great value for money. Vicky in guest services is a treasure. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and checked in with us several times during our stay. The service was above and beyond and the staff was professional and friendly. We had such a relaxing time. We chose Agios Ioannis because it's a bit quieter than some of the large party beaches. The "two Georges" at the beach club were great and attentive. The swimming dock was a great asset and the amenities were what you'd expect from a well-run 5 star resort. I appreciated the L'Occitane products. We'd definitely stay at the Mykonos Grand again. It was a great way to spend our first post-covid lockdown holiday and I'm already missing it! A fabulous place to enjoy Mykonos!

Due to the pandemic our honeymoon to the Maldives was postponed so last minute we booked Mykonos, originally staying for 6 nights in the Grand, 6 nights at Mykonos Blu. After the whirlwind of our wedding against so many rule changes by the Government we made it to Mykonos and we completely blown away by the Mykonos Grand. So much so that we didn’t want to leave and extended our stay by a further two nights.

The service is impeccable. Every single staff member is beyond delightful. Despina, our wonderful host was never without a smile nor a willingness to help us. The pool staff were jolly and helpful and the room service is a great perk.

We stayed in a spectacular room; with a huge terrace, day bed, hot tub and sun loungers. The view offered nightly sunsets that will be hard to beat anywhere else in the world!!!

The breakfasts are one of the best we have encountered - offering anything and everything you could wish for alongside a creative list of suggestions and an extensive drinks menu; chocolate orange cappuccino right through to strawberry and basil infused water.

Unfortunately we moved on to our next hotel (Mykonos Blu) for our last four nights due to the Mykonos Grand closing for the season. It has been a huge disappointment from the moment we arrived. Perhaps this is because the Mykonos Grand is so AMAZING, nothing will ever beat it?!!

We hope to come back - there were never any shortages of sun loungers, towels and bed covers were supplied upon arrival; the pool is beautiful and huge and the lunch/ evening food is delicious.

We were lucky to catch two evenings at the Hippie Fish next door before they closed for the season too - with a live DJ and squidgy beach side sofas to watch the sun go down. Fully recommended.

There is a free shuttle in the evenings into Mykonos town too as the hotel is out of the way but this is only a short 10min ride.

We loved our time at Mykonos Grand and cannot wait to return!!

PS: You get nightly gifts with the turndown service including hats, luggage tags, mugs, pillow spray...etc. A beautiful touch.

The food for lunch is amazing, and standard greek fare they serve both by the pool and the beach. Overall we felt the prices were fair and actually less than the neighboring beach restaurant (not affiliated with hotel) next door.

Absolutely, but it is definitely a quieter area. The Hippie Fish is literally right down from the small Mykonos Grand beach and is absolutely amazing! My husband and I ate there twice in three days! It has a great vibe and amazing food!

We also received one free dinner with our package. Not sure if that was specific to us. But you must stay here. Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at. And the buffet breakfast is awesome. You won't need to eat lunch... just a lite snack until dinner.

Is this resort suitable for children ?
Answer from PassportEnvyTA
Kapolei, HI841 contributions363 helpful votes
Yes, I suppose it's suitable for children, and we saw several families there. There is a nice library space that kids can enjoy, as I recall they had some puzzles & board games. The pool is very spacious, also. But they do not have any specific children's programs, if I remember correctly. These are excellent questions to ask the hotel -- "I have children ages XX and XXX -- are there any special amenities for this age group?"
