Newly renovated beautiful rooms in a castle built over 1000 years ago. Great price, very comfortable. Friendly staff, great view of the Rhein River. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare as tourists of the castle take up the very small parking lot.

Caution: This hotel has no hot water for showers! We had two rooms for one night. Neither room had hot water either upon our arrival or the next morning. We were lied to and told the reason was that too many guests were taking showers....More

The castle is far from towns. You can drive right to it. The hotel is adjacent but not connected to the castle. You still have to pay to enter the castle even if you stay in the hotel. There are no elevators and quite a bit... More
The castle is far from towns. You can drive right to it. The hotel is adjacent but not connected to the castle. You still have to pay to enter the castle even if you stay in the hotel. There are no elevators and quite a bit of walking required here to see things and get into the hotel room.

The rooms we stayed in were upstairs above the restaurant - which is in a building just at the entrance to the castle. I’m not sure whether this is the same age as the rest of the castle - certainly our room was characterful... More
