Our room was comfortable and clean with a large bathroom and good beds with room service keeping things tidy. The hotel lobby and exterior were also quite pleasant. The breakfast and dinner were satisfactory but nothing special. Now onto the real deal-breakers.

The rooms were not very clean. The carpet was completely brown, when once upon a time it was blue, as it still is under the bed. Wallpaper was peeling off. There was a broken shower door.
There is a hornet's nest somewhere in the vicinity of the hotel, and these insects of severa

Not the Ritz, but a very nice property with standard European hotel rooms. The common areas are beautifully done and the grounds are peaceful and lovely, great views, olive grove, pool. This is not close enough to Frascati to walk into town (we had a car) but it's only a couple

As soon as we arrived and were given our keys, no help with cases! Went to our room and the carpets were FILTHY, I told the reception but they didn't care! I could not stay in the room for long. You could never find a barman, the food was dire, no choice for us as we were on a

Dear Sir/Madame, We are sorry to read about your dissatisfaction. We are always inspired by reviews like yours to improve our services. We can ensure the carpet is not “filthy” but just worn-out. We are doing our best to remove and renew the floor. The staff is always nice and friendly, as other reviews can confirm, we are sorry you felt a different experience. For group trips the menu is fixed in agreement with the agency. However we always provide alternatives on request. We hope you could come back to live a different stay. Best regards

Is this hotel suitable for someone who is mobility impaired (can't climb stairs)?
We took the elevator regularly. It takes you to the garage level, but there are several steps down to the restaurant. I too think the elevators (typical european) are too narrow to turn a wheelchair around in.

are you near the Colosseum ?
We had a rental car and drove to frascati station(10 minutes) parked there and took the train which stops at all the major attractions including the Vatican. Super easy train system. Just keep your wallet in your front pocket and keep your purse in front of you with a good grip. Pick pocketing is rampant but they take the easy targets. The hotel is awesome!
