The words haven’t been invented yet. Just don’t stay here. Definitely something dead in the pool, couldn’t see 10cm deep it was that green. The buildings were terribly rundown. The holes in the walls and ceiling were covered up by flags and pictures. Not sure how they have a licence. It’s just a dodgy nightclub with rectangle outhouses. Shower never worked. Paid for a week left after 2 days. Breakfast was a sweaty hotdog with random veg and pickle wrapped in tin foil. No drinking water provided nor anything to drink out of. Beach is unusable due to glass and nowhere to actually sit or swim. Please just stay away for your own well being. Positives.. a well positioned police station 2 min away.

The photos are deceiving. The customer service is shocking. The rooms are shocking and most of the amenities do not work especially the air conditioning. The Village Night Club is right on sight so there are drunk people everywhere on certain nights. Their breakfast is terrible and they don’t have cutlery in rooms like glasses for a simple drink. The owner is so unprofessional to deal with. We do not recommend this place to anyone especially families.

I spend 3 nights at the resort on the last week of Sep 2017 at Coral Lagoon Fiji Resort as it was recommended to me by a friend of mine. Before I came here I had lots of rumors about this place but was positive in mind. Upon arrival at the resort I was upgraded to the villa for FREE as this is one of their key selling point. We booked the Standard Room but was upgraded for free with my partner to the villa on the same night. We had few drinks at the bar on happy hour and also spent a few drinks outside the villa balcony with great sunset views. I am not sure the exact time of happy hour but we loved the service from the lovely lady. We took a walk on the beach which was a little bit rocky and spent most of the time outside our balcony watching the sunset. The only downfall of this hotel was the water pressure sometimes it is weak but was back to normal after 1 hour. We also listened to some of their DJ's song which was playing at the bar and we loved it very much. This is the best place to wind down after a hectic week as they have the views, best sunset, special price beer and the free upgrade was the best. We will definitely come back.

I stayed at the resort for 2 nights and was upgraded to the Villa for free. The only bad comments about this place is the beach, sometimes local do hang around but the security managed to get them out. The staff have gone beyond expectation to assist us during our stay at the resort. Sunset view was great from our Villa balcony. We booked on special price and was given a complimentary upgrade upon arrival. The Management and the Director showed support in all our request eg wifi and village visit. I would definitely return next time.

Thank you very much for your comments. Thank you very much enjoy for your stay. I am sorry to enter local people at beach. In Fiji all beach public place. Only weekend local will come to beach with out side bottles in early morning at our chapel back side. Our Security asked them please go out. After they left with bottles. I hope if government took ELY( environment) tax ,Government also can charge them who left bottle in beach. This week we clean 2 bottles from out side at beach and let them out early morning at 6am Our security around gust's room for secure the guests. I am very glad see you again sir.

Awesome Friendly Resort with Amazing staff.. Beautiful Chapel with Friendly Good rooms.. Stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. Really loved the beach and seaview. Was really safe to walk on the beach and to hang around the compound. Room had amenities and also loved the pool. The breakfast was amazing.. Bar was awesome and staff and dj was awesome.. Cannot wait to tell my friends and to come here on my next trip.

Thank you very much your stay my hotel. We have Event bar now. We call famous singer every weekend.( No.1 or 2 in FIJI) Tourist always came from nearest hotel too. We will order security stay near the guests room. also I will buy security camera very soon. Also every morning we clean beach side (public) place. We closed guest side windows by gothic mesh and locked so outside guests can not go pool side (guests room side) I look ford having back to us any time soon. AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR COMENT HERE.

The worst "accommodation" I've ever had the displeasure of staying in. This isn't a resort or a hotel/hostel it is a local nightclub with extremely loud music until 4am followed by the shouting of drunken locals until at least 6am along with people trying to break into your room (why they want to do that I don't know as the rooms were awful). The room was coated in a few layers of dirt and grub even with spots of blood on the pillow case. The "private beach" contains no sand just washed up coral, coconut shells and tonnes of broken glass. I sliced my foot on the broken glass and required a plaster, of course the coral lagoon don't have a first aid kit or anything of the kind and simply said that "people drink here". The shower had no heat to it at all and half of the time no water, it took the staff a couple of hours to fix it and then even then it didn't work. The pool is filthy and I'm pretty sure there is a dead animal on the bottom of the pool. The breakfast is cold toast, cold egg with some cold beans on the side. The wifi is a pocket wifi and is awful and there is only one of them so who knows what happens if there was more than one guest. They charged us twice for the deposit and have refused to give a refund even after emailing and ringing multiple times. They also have been persistently attempting to charge our card all sorts of figures even though we have given them the full payment (picture below) which is unacceptable and clearly shows what a fraudulent establishment this is. Overall the place shouldn't be open, it's a disgrace that they can use the word resort as it is nothing of the sort. The building itself is half fallen down with random pieces of broken furniture dotted around the grounds. There is no food here either, the restaurant next door does not belong to them even though they claim it does. The nearest shop is a 30 minute walk. All in all avoid this place at all costs, literally anywhere in Fiji would be better to see the coral coast, even the streets.

At First I am sorry I delay to replay I did not see trip adviser always. 1 I now understand who you are because your girlfriend claimed same things on the other site. You booked sea view dorm from 19th of May. However I did not get any E mail from you. Also Hostel booking site received no mail from you. When I charge your card many times, decline 33 FJD. So please inform sales marketing, he also did not receive any e mail for refund. I wonder like this happen booking site send us Email and push to us back deposit 33$ as soon as possible. sales@corallagoonfiji.com. I will back for your 33$ as soon as possible. So send us detail. 2 My hotel name in sign board and outside wall has it written same name please check picture that I approved this site. 3 My hotel has restaurant my maid informed me she told to you about my restaurant, then you said I will go restaurant and you stayed long time in Villiste’s restaurant. My restaurant is open 6 pm for dinner and needs reservation, it is written in your booking site. Many people comments and orders at our restaurant. 4 I will question you how you have gained knowledge about land issue between me and Villsite. You said The restaurant next door does not belong to them even though they claim it does This is high court case and which I have won against Villsite(occupied approval my land) and Rovart (black market owner). Now my lawyer is fighting the third defendant TLTB who’ve made backdated agreement for these people. I bought my land in 2005; however TLTB made agreement of lease from 2009 to 2014 So that Villiste and Rovart can illegally backdate their lease document to 2003. Signature date and duty stamp 2009 and 2014. (Evidence A) I cannot gain approval name title because my 6 Acre had been triple leased (civil and criminal case).For 10 years without a name title; I was unable to develop this property or to sell this land. I wonder why a tourist needs to know land problem between me and villisite and your need to say it belongs to villiste. Also villsite tried to stop my hotel license from 2013 in front of public who operated accommodation no license (evidence B) in my compound that approved. 5 Fiji beach is public beach and everybody can access. My bar 19th may Fiji top singer band came my hotel for charity so I do apologize for the noise. However my drinks bottles that I bought and I sold bottles for recycle nearly same amount( I have both receipts of bottles sell and buy) So over bottle in beach from black market next door Rovart who sitting illegally my land. My next door is very famous black market in here.one bottle 8$ at midnight to morning. If you saw people at 6am drinking in beach the drink, it would have come from black market. My bar all sold out when top artist came for charity (always nearly sold out). My securities made my bar empty after closing time and nobody was on my compound and no drinks selling in the bar. Your girlfriend noted why people knocked your room at early morning that is one of business disturbance. Also I got threatening letter mention that crash my hotel business from this coral coast if I claim my land problem. (Costal line very long250m) if security goes around people can come and disturb any time. I already brought police and notice for local people who brought beers bought off premise early morning that I did not sell. Local people accused that the sea does not belong to me. I push government and police because my bottle that I bought and recycle bottles nearly same amount. ( with both receipts)People bought and drink from black market. Until solve the problem I block Fri. Sat. I clean to public beach Sunday early morning. 6 I employed maid who is Villisite’s relative and live next to villisite. But why she put blood dirty pillow to you. In normally nobody do such a kind of things if Fijian hospitality. Also she informed me that she told you that we have restaurant and menu but you went Villisite and after that you complained we do not have restaurant. Many tourists approved photos about foods. Dinner needs reservation which is written in your booking site so made asked you. Also I have First Aid kit . ( evidence C ) It is needed for OHS inspection every years. I show every year this red bag for first Aid. This maid informed other worker you cut foot but today I knew it. I wish to believe her but You informed me here too much difference from what my maid saying. Now I employ Mica who came from other Island and he worked Maui bay resort( who can do maid job) 7 If dirty mud in your flour layer you should have complained and checked out immediately and not stayed 2 days stays. Normal people will check out without paying but you choose to stay without saying anything to us. 8 I put Chlorine every day in my pool so sometime small crab and frog jump and die. Our staff always take it out every day. Every hotel flog jump in pool but same time take it out. We tried to block flog in my pool. Big space cannot build in court case the mean small staff now. 9 you’ve mentioned White sand made by white coral and shell but most white sands on the beach are in fact partially product of white shells and corals crushed and eroded. I will upload approval photos that there are actual sands there as well. I employ for beach cleaner every Sunday morning extra for removing black market bottles. 10 The building itself is half fallen down I approved building certificate from engineer. (Evidence D) how can fell down concrete building with building certificate unless earth quack? People will question you why you did not cancel this booking. You decided to check in and proceed to stay 2 nights. 11 Your would order sea view dorm 50FJD per night per person. Normally dorm guest food in Fiji includes Toasts, fruit, Tea or coffee. You need to come to restaurant buffet. However we provide you 2 eggs, baked bean, fruits, toasts tea or coffe . We brought this food to the your room. If this over service to you I would have provided you hot toast,fruit, tea and coffee only. 12 Wifi I wrote free in public place in your booking site. However I gave my Wifi to your room as extra service.I have no wifi because I gave my individual wifi to you. If guest does not like to use Wi-Fi in their personal room, I would have located the Wi-Fi at the restaurant for public Wi-Fi just as I have written in booking site Best Regards

I don't even know where to begin. Worst place I have ever stayed and we have been travelling in the cheapest most basic backpacker accommodation for the past 5 months. Positives- very pretty outside, nice pool, you do get free use of kayaks and snorkelling gear, 4 bed dorm turned out to be non existent so we had our own private room which was spacious and clean enough. Negatives- this can not be classed as a hotel/hostel. In reality it is a nightclub. The building is awfully run down and tacky and at night over the weekend it turns into an extremely loud, drunken mess for the locals. The music goes on until the early ours of the morning and we had people shaking on our door trying to break in which was very frightening. There is no fencing or any form of security. There is no sand on the 'beach' just broken coral and glass. My boyfriend sliced his foot open on a broken beer bottle and all the staff said was 'oh yes people drink here' and they had no first aid kit. They claim to have a bar and restaurant- they don't- there are two restaurants within walking distance and other than that, nothing. The showers have no hot water. They spent the whole of our second day replacing the shower which was annoying enough seeing as they were in and out of our room all day and when they had 'finished' it was still cold. We had no wifi until we eventually managed to find the manager who is never even there and she gave us a pocket wifi which never really got signal for us to be able to use it. Breakfast was stone cold. We were the only guests staying there the whole time which was not surprising. All in all completely false advertising and this place should be shut down. Whatever you do just don't be fooled like we were and stay here. We only booked two nights so stuck it out otherwise we would have just left. Oh and one more thing, they charged me the £13 deposit twice and refused to give me a refund. Completely put a dampener on our time in beautiful Fiji.

Nice pool too 2 only one male guests cut foot and ask to maid about First Aid.( I am sorry we have first aid ,I changed maid already .she is nice person but no inform us that you cut foot.) 3 I am sorry my maid inform me that you will go next door restaurant and she said she inform you about our restaurant (my restaurant need to book so my maid inform you that you would eat or not) We can provide Roster ,beef , chicken , lamb, fish in menu. You would never order us. If you would order If I can not prepare you may say that I have no restaurant. 4 Yes I replace electric hot water system next day,I am very sorry we knew after business hour If you put switch high water will be more hot. I use same maker one in my shower room. In sea front electric good break down but If I know I will change soon. I am very sorry to break down shower system when you stay. 5 Wifi I gave my individual one ,Now we provide wifi in public place restaurant only that I wrote in site. some time Vodafone will be slow in Fiji .it is depend on weather . 6 Yes at the moment only dorm guest you and your boy friend. so you can use private . also I repair 4 dorm bed room so I up grad your room to private. also breakfast I wrote up side to your boy friend. 7 £13 ( 33FJD) 2 person dorm deposit only your couple .( only your couple claim deposit here trip adviser} no guests claim about deposit now. I am very sorry too much decline so accidently 33FJD charged twice . 8 when you staid one guest there and next week full booking. some guests did not want to talk the other people .we have only 8 rooms it wrote site. I start to dorm only 2 rooms but sometimes private rooms guests did not want to talk the person who does not know. If you would like associate a lot of backpacker please choice big accommodation .I am sorry only 2 dorm here. Also some guests want to talk other guests that is beautiful but some private room guests did not want to talk or busy. As for me I do not like to talk unknon guests when I staid the other hotel for privacy ,so I order private room and I care about other guest's privacy . Now one guest went out for their friend's wedding party .One guest went to for a business. All guests went out daytime . I do not understand why you would care the other guests? I already inform your boy fiend upside please send us E mail .I will back 33FJD Western Union. I never refused I never get any Email from you. Also your booking site never send us claim about deposit. I and my sales manager never got any claim about deposit 33 FJD. 7 I already explain your boy friend upside .We block our rooms Fri, Sat, after black market problem will solve. Please read up side my comment. Also I will approve my photo here trip adviser that Local people came and I call police who brought beer from black market. My bar never open early morning. They admitted bring drinks from black market and they said beach is public place to me. The police Officer notice them do not bring drinks and disturb . 8 we have fence please look photos in trip adviser , I can not put fence in seaside. every hotel have no fence in front of sea for view. if fence it will be claim. I will block my room Fri ,Sat until solve the black market's problem. Here people did not drink weekday. Regards

Hopeless hotel and waste of money very disappointing. We rang from Australia as we were arriving late and got no answer, we emailed got no answer. No reception in hotel only a bar with no lights only a disco ball.There is no computers in sight on arrival. When we arrived at the resort, we simply checked in without any paper work, we did not receive any receipts or any introduction of the resort and the music was pumping at 11pm at night. We had booked it online and it seems the staff did not need to check our booking at all. We have to find everything by asking the only staff on duty as the owner is not around. We also need to find our own dinner at the night so glad we had a car. There is no restaurant at the resort. We couldn't sleep at night from 10pm till 4am as the main purpose of the resort is a local bar and the loud music and screaming of the drunkards during these hours. People were banging on our door and it was very frightening. The toilet in the room leaked onto the floor. The shower is in a bath tub with no shower curtain so water spilled onto floor or supplied floor mats which was very dangerous. There is no place to leave personal items. No toilet door. Very old and dirty rooms with more sand than the beach area. Room had ant infestation. Sheets were stained with blood, ink and cigarette burns. Mattress had a board under our sheet which stuck into us. We moved the next day into another room from our Superior Room. No difference only a little less sand. Killing bugs and ants before going to bed is not my idea of a clean and acceptable hotel for holiday makers. For breakfast is 2 toast, fried eggs ( I do not eat eggs) no choice of food. Absolutely disgusting. The disco goes all night so we can no sleep. Not possible to sleep at all. In the morning there is broken beer bottles and cans on the beach and out the front of the buildings. This place should be shut down. The buildings are run down and falling apart and the advertising is false showing lovely photos is not a true account of the hotel. We left after 2 nights and had paid for 7 nights. We could not sleep and so pleased to get out of the place. Unfortunately I had to pay for other accommodation both so grateful we found a decent resort.

I am so sorry to make you disappointed. But we do have Restaurant .Every guests order and made comments on booking site 1 (please look at photo1) I have the photo of a menu taken from your room. (Restaurant requires reservation and operation hour is until 9:30 PM, all guests can order) after 9:30 PM, Disco ball is on. 2 We have reception but not 24 Hour if you check in around 9:30 PM other staffs bring you to room. We are only 8 rooms Madam. Small hotel sometime security bring guests to the room depend on hour. 3 I took photos of your room 6 (photo 2 photp3) It is big difference how to take photos. Please look (photos4) we took mattress under the beach sun and we do not find any blood from mattress that you said. (photo5) And (Please look at photo6 MEGATHION) we spray every 2 weeks. This MEGATHION kill all insect. We spray every 10days from now depend on your claim. Our staff sprayed Megathion to Room 6 that you stayed. Also we sprayed other chemical as well. 6 Elenoa our maid has receives good comments from guests as she always checks sheets (photo7). She mentioned she did not saw any blood when she made bed. However I received reviews from you so we will always check after she makes bed. 7 we are sorry that we have disco from Friday to Saturday and it was Christmas day when you booked which was biggest party day of the year. We have descriptions in the booking site that we have hotel Disco and we have sound for the weekend. We made the room’s sound proof but if it was difficult to bear for you I sincerely apologize. 8 From high water mark and to sea in Fiji is public space, for that reason we cannot forcefully bring people out. We did not sell long neck Fiji gold beer but in that shore line some longneck bottles are dropped at times. We cannot clean at night time but we always clean early morning every day. I wrote last comments here. Please look management photo. 9 We do not allow outside guests go beach side and room side. (Include over sea guests who visit restaurant and bar) every outside guests can enter restaurant and go back to gate, not allow in pool and room side. In weekend We have 5 securities for 8 rooms that go around 200m from beach side. Since we received claims of stranger entering your area so from now we strongly order all securities and look after guest’s room side so nobody will enter 10 Our rate 110 $(FJD) per night. This is the most reasonable price in coral coast. We up graded continental breakfast with egg, baked beans and three toasts. Coffee or Tea is included. Normally with this price only serves continental breakfast. If you order in advance we could make vegetarian breakfast as well. Also we have Full AC in the room and with this price; hotels do not provide AC and Bathtub in each room. We are 2.5 star so we can provide basic service for breakfast.

I checked in at reception and I was showed to my room and they explained to me how to operate the hot water system including the activities which can be booked at the reception. It was the beginning of the week and it was quiet and peaceful that I can only hear the birds outside my room. The restaurant staffs recommended the Lobster dinner as it was their “Special of the Day” so I did booked it just to try it out. The lobster was fresh as it was supplied by local fishermen next door and I am pretty amazed how they had cooked it. My wife loved it as it is the first time she had tried lobster. Staffs are great as they are so close like families and they even came to my room in the morning to ask us if we wanted our breakfast room service. But NO 24 H ROOM SERVICE.

Thank you very much for your comments We can make food for you at mit night if you would order bar staffs of security in menu sir.We are just 2.5 star hotel now .We are not 24h room service .A few guests confuse our hotel 5 or 4 star for small infomation from photos.So here I inform under below. 1 We are 2.5 star hotels. All conditions are written on the booking site. As it is written on the booking site, we provide basic hotel (AC, king or queen size bed, TV with DVDs, hot shower or bathtub, electric kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body soup.) All 8 rooms goes with full ocean views as our beach is 200m wide, many customers have enjoyed the private atmosphere it offers. There were a few customers that have misunderstood our hotel being 5 or 4 star hotels, then book for5 or 4 star hotels after. It is not good for the guests to waste time and expenses on travelling to another hotel and we still need to hold our rooms while guest booked the room. Currently, our hotel is under fraud investigation so we cannot build more than 8 rooms. Please read down below. 2 Activity we have only snorkeling, kayaking, beach volleyball, pool However we can arrange Island trip, Dive Island trip( soft coral No1 Place),Jet Fiji(sigatoka river) lunch- village tour include, Off road tour(lunch -village tour include) ,Suva or Sigatoka day tour with business license car driver. Water fall tour (walk or house). 3 Yes we made lobster, thank you very much you’ve enjoyed lobster dish with your wife. However 2.5 Star hotels normally do not have lobster dish. If 5 star one lobster dish over 100$ but our lobster dish is 50$, the cost which is half of 5 star hotel. We directly got lobster from local fisher man. Mr. Jim I am sorry to explain a lot for other guests, you are a very nice guests, and thank you very much for enjoying our hotel, and we hope to see you again. #Regarding the condition of our hotel,# We are small hotel with 8 rooms because our 6 Acre land is under fraud (I bought 2005 duty stamp 2005, deeds 2005) However TLTB sold my part of land at 2009(1AC) and 2014(0.5 AC) to 2 other neighbors and TLTB backdate their contract to 2003.Their signature was made in 2009 and 2014 with duty stamp dated in 2009 and 2014 but their contract started date 1th Jan 2003. Fiji duty Act (Tax stamp Act) clearly mentions stamp document cannot be back dated, it should have been stamped from the beginning. if not stamped within 3 month, the contract of agreement will be executed and If not duty stamp cannot be brought to any court, any judge cannot use that agreement no duty stamp back date ACT100). If somebody breaks this act, it is crime mentions in Act 22. Because of my court case we cannot build more on my land due to fraud. So our rooms good price now.
