Warwick Fiji charms guests with a vibrant atmosphere and cultural entertainment, complemented by the warmth of its staff. Travelers enjoy the variety of amenities, including restaurants, pools, and activities, although the hotel's dated decor and the need for facility upgrades are points of contention.
While rooms are praised for their cleanliness, the service speed and room readiness sometimes fall short of expectations. The hotel's location offers scenic snorkeling opportunities, but dining options are limited in the vicinity, and some guests feel the overall value doesn't match the cost, citing overpriced food and services.

Hotel's Favourite
What an amazing place to spend time. From the minute we arrived the welcome was infectious. This trip was just myself and hubby for some much needed relaxation. Did we get that, yes!! The Warwick is a tranquil paradise with the most lovely, warm and friendly staff. Always a big smile, nothing is too much trouble. The resort is clean and tidy, and well maintained. We had a very comfortable room which was serviced daily if needed. There are plenty of options for dinner at night but bookings are a must. There are lunch options as well. Plenty of options to grab a cool drink or cocktail to sit back and watch the world go by or you can watch sport on the huge TV. There is an adults only pool and part of the beach is also adults only. There were plenty of families with young children whilst we’re there, we did notice a children’s playground on a walk around the grounds. The weather is a little unpredictable as it’s on the Coral Coast so be prepared for rain. We had rain at some point every day but it didn’t dampen our spirits it was usually a passing shower. It can be very windy as well. The temperature was lovely, was hovering around 28-30, no jackets needed for us, shorts or t-shirts were fine but suggest you pack something just in case. It was a 2 hour drive both directions on arrival and departure. Consider a package for your meals and drinks. We had breakfast only included so we had to pay for any lunch options and our dinners. There are a couple of shops in the hotel for gifts, snacks and any necessities needed. Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend visiting Fiji and staying at Warwick Fiji. We will return to both Fiji and Warwick Fiji.

There is a lot of great things about this resort. Accommodation rooms well laid out, comfortable and clean, daily servicing was great. Pool was excellent, especially the games and balls provided for the kids to play with. Games and activities centre was a lot of fun, all activities free of charge. Snorkeling at the front of the resort was brilliant, with a lot of coral and marine life, again snorkels free of charge. Food offerings were average at best, low quality offerings and over priced, beverages were a complete rip off. Some guests were fetching beverages from their room purchased at the nearby village to avoid the ridiculous cost, I only wish I had also done this. The service by the waiters and waitresses at all outlets excluding the Italian restaurant, was terrible. Almost all just simply did not want to be there, they were uninterested in helping you and really saw you ordering food and drinks as a hassle and inconvenience. All said Bula to you as you passed but dared not make eye contact or smile as they may have to do something. The exception to this was the Italian restaurant staff that were the complete opposite, they were happy and engaging. Overall the stay was ok, but I feel disappointed that the service just wasn’t there.

This is a second visit and although the Cyclone delayed our trip by 3days we made the best of the time we had. Unfortunately the hotel was not geared up to support those travellers impacted and the first flight we could get was an overnight flight from Brisbane arriving at the hotel at 9:00am shattered and had to wait to around 12pm to finally get to our room, which we were charged for the Sat/Sat we didn't use.
We did find the hotel a bit run down this time as my husband got locked in the toilet the first day for 30mins due to a broken lock and luckily not the children, but they replaced it. We then had the door to the suite and balcony doors out of alignment and wouldn't close fully.
Apart from this our stay was very enjoyable and the resort is immaculate and the food and staff are amazing. The gym is highly recommended and my plus point for the whole trip as well as the other facilities and evening entertainment.
My kids are a bit older now being 11 _ 9 and I couldn't get them to go to the kids club, so maybe they need to spruce it up a bit, so they lived in the pool.
There are so many places to eat you never go hungry and the staff are just so so friendly and smile at everyone.
Plus points for us is the Executive club and we always book a suite to get access and really get for a snack in the afternoon for dinner.
You have never experienced 5 star until you go here.
Love it can't wait to save up for our next visit..

Stayed 7 nights with my wife and 2 sons. Brother and Sister in law and their 2 kids. Trip was for my wife’s birthday.
First thing you should know is they are a “cashless” resort and place a 3% surcharge on EVERY transaction, which really adds up!
Food is very ordinary. Seafood here is terrible.
Tv didn’t work
Phone didn’t work
Bathroom sink blocked
Strange smell whenever you enter your room
Wifi useless
Our family in another room had all the same problems including a leak coming from the ceiling in their bathroom!
We had 4 rooms in total, all with the same issues.
Reception informed and didn’t fix anything!
The village cultural night is so fake. Mosquitoes eat you alive and the food is terrible. You need to walk through a long carpark and an open stinking drain from the employees quarters to get there which is very off putting.
The water from the Tap is not recommended to drink, and incredibly, no free drinking water is offered except with sit down meals, in some cases not even free with your meal?!
Think about it, tropical weather and paying around $6fjd for a small bottle of water.
Highway robbery!
For my wife’s birthday dinner I arranged and paid for the staff to deliver a cake to our table and they sing a traditional song.
We finished our dinner, drinks etc and it never happened. I had to actually remind them and subsequently ruined a thoughtful surprise. They just acted confused and charged me $300 for the worst seafood platter I have had in my life. My brother in law was sick the whole next day.
Honestly, just choose another resort.
Warwick Fiji is only interested in maximising every cent they can squeeze out of every poor sucker that checks in.
Even airport transfer is outrageously expensive.
Don’t let the pictures fool you......

Bula Vinaka Matt and Greetings from Warwick Fiji, Thank you for your open review and we acknowledge of it accordingly. It is unfortunate to hear that you encountered some inconveniences with our services which marred your overall stay experience. We regret that, as a team, we fell short of your expectations. In relation to your comments on our pricing, please be advised that in addition to import tax we also pay the mandatory hotel operational taxes to the Fiji government, as per regulations. This is a familiar scenario in any hotel or resort business, on the same note, the surcharge on credit cards applies to all, in line with government policies and financial requirements. We have also noted your issues against our amenities in general, we agree that we have areas to improve on and this is all work in progress through our preventative maintenance program. Your specific comments in regards to the birthday cake order was handled and resolved that evening by the manager on duty in the outlet and we understand this was clarified with yourself, as per your preference. This is all noted on our duty log for that particular evening. For the water, in all our eating outlets we have filtered water refill tanks that any of our guests can make use of, it is unfortunate that you did not. Here at Warwick Fiji we aim to deliver the very best in terms of guest services and we would never compromise by taking advantage of any of our valued guest, for our gain. Matt, we can only hope that we will get another chance to have you visit us again for a more enjoyable experience and until then, the Warwick Fiji team remains at your service. Vinaka & Island Regards, Resort Management.

Stayed at the Warwick Fiji for a week and had the most relaxing time with great accommodation and excellent, more than friendly staff.
We found that if you want a quiet and comfortable time then there is everything you need as there are plenty of adults only areas to use.
The facilities are great, despite what might be read in other reviews, the resort does show its age in some places however it feels authentic to the area without being too modern.
The staff make this place, everyone was faultless in doing their job and also keeping visitors happy and engaged with their culture.
We were sad to leave and had the team at the Wicked Walu sing their farewell song for us, very special.
Cost wise, spend is relative to the type of person you are, we found a balance of not going overboard but making the most of happy hours and loading up with breakfast, the food is all good quality and plentiful.
A couple should be able to do a week here on around $1000 aus dollars, we had $500 bonus FJD in our package which helped.
A solid recommendation to stay at the Warwick.

The drive is a long one from Nadi airport to the Warwick hotel 2 hours approximately mainly due to the amount of roadworks that are happening at this point in time . On arrival at the Warwick we are greeted with a welcoming Bulla and a traditional wooden drumming ceremony, our rooms are comfortable but a little dated, the beds are small king single at best for the price you pay here for a room I would have expected something far more luxurious. Food and drink prices are outrageously expensive, remember that food and drinks package when booking here it’s well worth it, we couldn’t of afforded to stay here without one, on the subject of food it’s not very good at all !! Sure there’s plenty of it but it’s poorly cooked and everything is full of sugar, we ate at the bistro mainly most of what was served up to us was rubbish, had a night at the Japanese restaurant the sushi rolls were served hot, the tempura prawns had cinnamon in the batter , disgusting and the raw fish was terrible couldn’t eat most of it. The Italian restaurant which we ate at 2 nights running was ok first night we had pizzas and bruschetta it was just okay second night we had pasta dishes on the balcony nice atmosphere but sugary pasta and sauces , yuk. There’s nowhere to eat or drink outside of the Warwick so you are a captive audience at the mercy of there crap food . The upside, the staff are marvellous, friendly and welcoming people that put on impromptu morning singing in the breakfast area absolutely divine,I can’t praise them enough, the pool area is fantastic with views out to the ocean just perfect plenty of lounges around the pool and if you can’t get one the staff will bring more over for you they are so helpful and accommodating, the pool side bar is great it’s a swim up bar on one side and a seated area on the other , the spa in the pool area is great and huge. There is also a day spa for your massages and an array of other treatments ( very expensive though) we had half hour massage included in our stay the massage was heavenly, there is an adults only side to the Warwick, the upstairs bar area is truly amazing with un interrupted views out to the ocean and a great variety of seating options from lounges to single rattan chairs , the sand on the beach is clean but not that wide (3 metres to the water) the water is good for snorkeling but not a great swimming beach due to the shallow depth of the water and the jagged reefs ( wear shoes) there are sea snakes around also so be aware whilst in the water. All in all you will have a good stay at the Warwick but it is very expensive ,the food is well below standard and the room while clean and comfortable are just ordinary at best . We apologize for the inconveniences you encountered regarding dining experiences and food at our restaurants. I assure you that your review has been discussed at length with our department heads, for our improvements, where required. In regards to your comments on our prices, we import more than a few items and pay duty with mandatory tax in adherence to government regulations. Overall, this has a direct effect on our pricing, however, it is still fair to the market here in Fiji and in accordance with legislated policies. I have been to 35 countries plus 7 visits to the Warwick starting back in the late 80s. Set on a private lagoon, for me it’s like going to stay with friends. They make you feel like family and if you are interested you will be welcome to visit their village. The Wicked Walu restaurant set on a small island with its sandy foors is 1 of 4 or 5 different places to eat and 1 of the best seafood restaurants I have been to. It’s a great atmosphere to follow a cocktail while watching the amazing sunsets.
I was going back until Corona got in the way.
I would happily recommend this to families, couples or friends.
I am quadriplegic and I have no trouble getting around the entire resort. This is a pleasant change from other resorts that say they are accessible and still have inaccessible areas or unsuitable bathrooms.

Myself & 2 girlfriends had a 7 day/6 night stay at the Warwick Fiji in a beach view unit on the ground floor near the adults pool in the Suva Wing and we booked an all inclusive holiday through "Hoot". We are so happy we opted for this as food & drinks are very expensive, by Australian standards. From when we were picked up at Nadi airport to when we went home, there was no hitches, although the resort is almost 2 hours from airport, it is well worth the long drive as the resort is on the beautiful Coral coast and is in a stunning position. The staff are what makes this resort as the Fijian staff go over & above to please each & every visitor. We went in the rainy season although not much rain & the resort was not crowded at all as would be in the touristy season. We would pick this time to go again next time. Down the beach away from the resort is a group of ladies who offer tours, souvenirs & massages at a cheaper price and are not associated with the resort so you are helping locals make ends meet.

Ok, so we got our trip via luxury escapes and had the all inclusive deal at the hotel, we were there for five nights as a family with two small children.
When we arrived check-in was a bit all over the place, but we were very early (8.30am) and the staff were wonderful, they even got our room ready for us early, so by the time we had eaten breakfast our room was ready for us which was great!
We mainly ate from the buffet or Italian and the food was fine, not amazing but good enough for us all to find something to eat. The Japanese was really good food though and we didn't try Wicked Walu as still closed. There isn't all day dining but we took fruit and pastry etc at breakfast for snacks for the girls. Be aware bottled water isn't part of the all inclusive package so that was an extra cost, soda is part of the package so a good alternative if you don't wish to spend extra.
The pool area was really well maintained and it is shallow enough for most adults to be able to stand in all of it. We saw it being cleaned most days, and had no issues.
There are tons of kayaks and paddleboards that you can just help yourself to in the morning or early evening and lots of kids and adult activities, we were never bored. The spa was lovely and our massage was great.
We had a couple of issues and the check in staff (Terrence John) was excellent at sorting it out and we were more than happy with the outcome.
Now here comes the piece that makes this place so bloody special - the staff! There are a multitude and I can't name them all, but Mere who looked after our kids, thank you! And the biggest, warmest most wonderful staff member I have ever met is Amenistai who works on the pool bar every day and is the most beautiful person, my four year old fell in love with him instantly and he made her a 'cocktail' (tropical juice etc) every day, he remembered her name and greeted her all the time with the biggest smile, he literally made our trip along with all the staff.
This hotel isn't the best hotel I've been to for amenities, food etc but it is by far the best place I have ever been to for staff, they should all be congratulated for helping families and couples alike have a magical time in what have become complicated and difficult times. We would come back just for them.

+1
From the moment we arrived and for the duration of our stay we received exceptional service and big Bula smiles from the porters, housekeeping to our waitresses/waiters and everyone in between, nothing was too much trouble and everyday we were warmly welcomed by all the staff. We enjoyed meals at the buffet and the Japanese which did not disappoint, special mention to the B/B Team and in particular Adi, Amelia and Methi who were just incredible at making sure we were satisfied and they were just so lovely and friendly. Thank you ladies!
The rooms are comfortable and clean and air conditioned and the grounds and beachfront is immaculate- truly paradise.
Highly recommend bringing reef shoes and snorkelling set if you enjoy ocean swimming over the pool, they do sell them but pretty pricey.
They don’t have any self service laundry facilities available, however a short walk either side of the hotel are some locals who will washing/braids/massages for a reasonable price.
We also did the half day shopping trip into Sigatoka (about 30 minute drive) and the glass bottom boat tour which we enjoyed. We got lucky and saw a pod of dolphins.
One other thing, The resort is cashless so everything is charged to your room, you can settle your account daily though.
All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Warwick.

Hi, we stayed at the Warwick in June, and there was a 600mL bottle of water supplied for each of us, each day. There is a small supermarket a short taxi ride away where you can buy more also. Enjoy your trip!
I'm also anaphylactic to nuts and did not have a problem, although only ate at the resort for breakfast and once at Wicked Walu. I let them know while booking ahead although nothing was mentioned on the day or at breakfast. I would still ask about each item to be really safe
Hi, we didn't look into food and drink packages, not aware if the hotel has them. Restaurant prices were reasonable, I thought, but I wouldn't say they were particularly cheap. Enjoy your trip!
