Detailed Reviews
This was a charming hotel very close to Charles de Gaulle airport. The staff was very pleasant and helped us out with an early arrival after an all night flight from the States. We had both dinner at the hotel and breakfast. In both cases the food was very good with many selections for every palate.

Hotel's Favourite
We only spent overnight here during 14-15th June 2023 due to our Easyjet flight to UK was cancelled. We arrived the hotel at around 19.30 and were greeted by 2 friendly Receptionists.
We got room # 76 on the second floor (top floor) away from lifts and stairs. Everything in our room worked fine but there were only towels for 1 person (1 large and 1 small towel). I came down to Reception to get 1 more towel and toiletry kits. Nothing too much trouble for them. They were very nice and helpful.
We couldn't have any dinner at the hotel as they said they couldn't cope the urgent big groups that night but we were given direction to a shopping mall nearby (20 minute walk along the river).
Buffet breakfast restaurant was opened at 7 AM. Hot breakfast was cold even the restaurant was just opened 5 minutes ago which was very strange. Not sure something wrong with the containers for sausages, bacon and mushroom.
Hotel grounds and decor were absolutely charming and peaceful. It's located 6 miles from CDG airport. Private taxi can be arranged by Receptionist tho.

Hello, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your comment. We always make sure to respond to our customers' requests, no matter what the situation is. Our 4-star hotel, located just a 15-minutes drive from the airport and in a quiet setting, allows us to offer a personalized hotel experience, very different from chain hotels. Many thanks again.

Lovely hotel close to airport. Quiet situation .Helpful staff. Nice bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Restaurant menu very limited but what they had was good except no real options for vegetarians. Breakfast pricy at 24 euros for self service ,but very nice with lots of options.

Don’t book this hotel if you want to sleep. I stayed overnight with a work party of twenty. The hotel had booked an event for another party and they went all through the night, getting drunk and singing loudly outside bedroom windows. It sounded like a football match. When I rang the receptionist downstairs to ask if they could encourage the party to go inside or keep the noise down, I was told that they were more important as they were the bigger group and they had paid for the event and she wasn’t willing to ask them to go inside or keep the noise down. This told me the hotel really didn’t care about my experience. When other members of my group rang to complain, they were told the same thing. We were all very tired the next day which made the training really hard . The hotel should have been honest that sleep wouldn’t be possible that night because of the party. Extraordinarily bad attitude towards customers. If you’re planning on getting any sleep, don’t book this hotel.

I wasted too much money and my last precious vacation night in August 2005 at the Manoir de Gressy, a faux chateau convention hotel near Paris masquerading as a "manoir." I thought I would have one last lovely night in a European country place, instead of returning to city life, but this is a suburban commercial establishment.
When I got there, I was told that there was a Chanel convention occupying the hotel, and that I and the other private guests could not use the restaurant for dinner. So I ate at a makeshift table in the bar outside of it. The table had not been cleaned. The convention held a dinner with deafening music in the restaurant next to the bar, which did not make for gracious dining, and it made it impossible to sit and read in the lounge. Instead of providing space for a convention and hotel guests separately, as is usual in convention hotels, the hotel shoved the guests aside in favor of the convention. This meant that guests had no hotel space except their rooms. I thought it was inexcusable to impose this on paying customers without advance notice, but they made no apologies or offers to make up for the situation. Although they could have informed me by email, they did not. I would have stayed elsewhere. The only relief was that the waiter had a sense of humor, and he said that when he opens his inn, this will not happen.
The decor is fake country, not characteristic of a "manoir." It is the noisiest hotel I have ever been in in my decades of world travel. There is no soundproofing in the rooms or corridors, and the corridors are made of hard material that not only does not mute the sound but rather amplifies it so that each footstep echoes with ten times the volume of a normal footstep. When I told the reception about this, they simply said that they had had other complaints too, but not that it would be fixed. There was pounding disco music from the convention coming into the rooms until 2 am.
I told all these things to the reception. I was promised a response. I waited a month, during which I sent them several emails. Finally after that month they sent me one inviting me to return so they could give me the kind of service I had expected, which, they said, they know how to do!

We stayed here for a corporate function and it was simply awful. Small room, noisy and inconvenient. The nearest train station to get in to Paris was a 50 euro taxi ride to take a 5 euro train. The service was meh, although the food was ok. I spilled half a glass of wine on the floor and received a 980 euro bill for damages. Whatever you do, do not stay here.

The best thing I can say about this hotel is that it was clean. You would never know you are in France by the surroundings. There is absolutely nothing in the surrounding town, not even a place to buy a bottle of water, the closest shopping or food is a 30Euro ride away. The hotel does not have Air Conditioning and the windows/doors do not have screens so either you suffocate or get eaten by bugs. Many rooms are twin sized beds they don't mention this at all when you are making your reservation. The maids make the bed and rehang dirty towls from the floor, they also do not remove any dirty dishes or anything left in the room. They were not accomodating at all as far as dietary needs. We informed them before hand of fish allergies and we were served fish nearly daily. Meal times are set and they don't do anything until that time. Almost broke a tooth on a roll. Everything there falls under "it is what it is". They provide free wifi but, it is the slowest connection, could even be dial up, forget about posting anything while you are there. There is a Sheraton at the airport which would have been a much better choice.

The receptionist was distracted on the phone when checking me in and overcharged me 100 euros by mistake. Told me she would cancel right away, but didn't. Then when I checked out, I again asked them to confirm that the charge had been cancelled. They said they cancelled, but it was not. They also told me they would email me confirmation that the charge was cancelled, which they did not. Very disappointed. Now I have to go through the extra stress of disputing this.

Hello JGg712, I once again apologize for the mistake of the payment of 100 euros instead of a pre-authorization during the check-in. Nevertheless, I can guarantee you the reimbursment of 100 euros was made the same day as your arrival and the receipt your CC details was sent to you by mail mentionning the date and the hour it had benn made. I understand your disapointment and be assured that the correct actions were reminded to the Receptionnist who welcome you to prevent if from happening once again. I stay at your disposal for any information Regards,

We selected this hotel from a short list of "choices" presented us by the Tourist Information Office at Charles De Gaulle Airport. We chose this because it was the least expensive (at 250 Euros, not cheap) and we had stayed there 14 years before; all other choices were more expensive. We knew it was hard to find but not too far from the airport. However, it took 45 minutes for the taxi driver to find it and 45 Euros later we arrived, even though it was about a 15 Euro journey for the return trip.
This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Yet there was no person to help with our luggage. No one at the door to help us in. The front desk never got our name and simply referred to us by our room number. We had to haul our luggage ourselves down a very long hall from the front desk. After the difficult trip to the place we decided to have a drink in the bar. No one there to serve us. Since the place is apparently far from anything (although there is a small town or village apparently beside the hotel) we decided to have dinner in the dining room. The service there is attentive but there is only one menu, meaning one appetizer, one main dish and one desert to be had. You could have any one of them or all of them (all was 46 Euros) but there was essentially no choice. Both appetizer and main dish were duck. Little choice there, I must say. There seemed to be lots of business groups there who were catered to well. But individual travelers are just not made very welcome. I don't usually criticise a hotel until things are below expectations and this hotel fits that bill. The value for money is just not there. Better to pay more at the Charles De Gaulle located Hilton than to suffer this disappointment.

i spent two nights at this place. it is almost impossible to get a taxi from the airport CDG to the hotel. it is too close to the airport and taxi drivers do not want to take you. if you finally find someone he will charge 30-50 euros. the correct fair would be 15 euros.
the staff is unfriendly and incompetent. the breakfast is not worth mentioning and overpriced - as is the hotel itself.
there is nothing to do in gressy and the hotel is mostly booked by groups which hold conferences in this complex - with unhappy and frustrated attendees due to the location, price and service of the hotel.
although the hotel is located in a remote area with no public transport, the management does not provide a shuttle service. for a ride to the airport they will charge you 35 euros. the trip to paris will cost you around 50 euros and will take between one hour and two hours depending on the time of day.
if you need internet access, the hotel will charge you 22 euros per day.
i strongly recommend not going there.
