We couldn’t fault our stay with Marcelo and Denise, a lovely couple who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Our room was spacious with good water pressure in the shower and the air con was super cold which is needed during a Maltese Summer. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, and we appreciated the barista coffees made by Marcelo. Denise and Marcelo were so friendly, and recommended many restaurants in the local village of Qala. They also advised us on how to get to Comino, and the best local beaches as well. We loved our time there and would definitely stay again when visiting Gozo

On holiday with two teenagers. Ferrieha B & B is just perfect. We stayed four nights, explored Gozo to the full. Each night we returned to our two rooms at Ferrieha which were fantastic, spacious, comfy, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Each morning we woke up to a sumptuous breakfast with lots of choice and plenty to eat. Excellent coffee! The pool was great to return to after a hot day out and about, even in late October. The owners are so welcoming, and so easy to talk to. Thank you. If you're going to Gozo, stay here.

Great place to stay in Gozo. Qala is very close to the port with easy public transport to most everywhere on Gozo. Marcello, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful, with good suggestions for exploring the island. Our room was very large and lovely. The beds and pillows were a bit soft to our liking, but might work well for others. Strong shower. Everything very clean. Pool a great plus. Breakfast - served inside or out - was traditional for a B & B. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

We booked a 5-night stay expecting a warm and friendly experience based on the reviews we read. Unfortunately, the owners—who seem to be the heart of the welcoming atmosphere described by others—were not present during our visit. Instead, we were attended to by a person who appeared rushed and focused on serving breakfast as early and fast as possible and “organizing” the room, which disrupted the relaxing experience we had hoped for.
On the second morning, we arrived for breakfast at 9:32 am, well within the stated breakfast hours of 8:30–10:00 am (as clearly outlined in the room instructions). However, the lady greeted us with an unkind remark: “I was picking up breakfast because I thought you weren’t coming.” Her tone was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. The previous morning, she started serving breakfast at 8:15 am, which was outside the stated schedule.
In addition to this, there were several other issues that made our stay uncomfortable. The room was extremely cold, which is particularly unpleasant in winter. The mattress on the bed felt deformed, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The shower alternated unpredictably between very hot and cold, adding to the frustration. The TV remote control didn’t work because the batteries were dead. To top it off, the cleaning lady inexplicably removed the bed cushions, without an explanation, and towels were not replaced in 3 days. All these might be topics that can be fixed immediately, but in our opinion, the host should make sure things work properly before guest are coming.
What should have been a time to unwind became a stressful ordeal of trying to accommodate the cleaning lady schedule and enduring these inconveniences. As a result, we’ve decided to cut our stay 2 nights.
We are genuinely sorry for the owners. However, we strongly recommend they choose a more suitable deputy to manage the property in their absence and address these issues to improve the guest experience.

Dear Margarita, although we are always very sorry when our guests do not enjoy their stay for one reason or another, in you case it was immediately clear that the reason of your unhappiness had nothing to do with the accommodation or its staff. Instead of discrediting a reputable business like ours, you should admit to yourself that you picked the wrong destination at the wrong time of the year (December in Gozo); this appeared immediately clear to both our staff and the other happy guests staying at the same time as you. Pathetic was your proposal not to write a "bad review" in exchange of a refund. Unfortunately for you our cancellation and refund policy, which is designed to be fair to all our honest guests, does not cover situations of this nature.

Ferrieha B&B is much more than just accommodation. This is a wonderful house 5 minutes drive from the ferry arrival from which it is very easy to discover Gozo. A large, comfortable and well furnished room. Our private bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a hallway, which is not ideal (other rooms have en suite bathrooms). An excellent, varied and plentiful breakfast. But beyond these material aspects, we must highlight the welcome of Denise and Marcello. The advice of Denise, a true Gozitan who knows every rock on her island, allowed us to organize our visits as best as possible.

Wonderful farmhouse, large and spacious. The room was big and we had a wonderful view of comino's blue lagoon from a large terrace. The breakfast was superb, there was everything one could want, and if asked for something in particular the hosts were very accomodating.

This property is on the edge of the village of Qala, with excellent views the port of Mgarr, Comino and Malta. Rooms are specious. Breakfast is basic, hosts are super good, only property is in need of basic maintenance in bathroom and pool area.

I can't get over how great my stay at Ferrieha Farmhouse was. Seriously one of the best in the past years. Make sure you stay a couple of nights to get to enjoy the peace of this place, the welcoming hosts and the magic of the area. Marcello and his wife were super helpful with any questions, found a solution for everything and give you a welcoming feeling. I can only recommend this place. (Tidy, good food, nice pool...!!)

This B&B is just amazing! The hosts are very welcoming. The rooms are big, spacious and very clean. The views from all the balconies is just stunning.....You can see to Comino & Malta! They have a nice variety in the breakfast. The pool area is huge and their is enough space for everyone to have their own spot. We had only one big problem in this B&B....1 week was not enough in such an amazing place!!! Thank you so much Marcello and we will definately see you again one day.
