Detailed Reviews

We are very happy to have chosen to stay at this traditional Maltese 200 year old farm house! While a little out of the way, it was worth the extra walk just to be out of the main touristy hub and experience a more authentic stay. Chrissy, the host, was very friendly and even offered to drive us into the centre of town. She had good travel advice and was happy to share tips on what to see and where to go. Breakfast was fantastic and served on the rooftop terrace, right by the pool! :)

Bayview B&B is a small house of character in Qala, Gozo. The location is a quiet peaceful village overlooking the bay with views of the Blue Lagoon from the terrrace. Nowhere is a far distance from the guest house to be able to enjoy the sights of Gozo. This is our second visit to this guesthouse having been previously last year. On arrival we were greeted by the hosts Dennis & Chrissy. Our rooms were of typical Maltese style, beautiful, clean and comfortable beds. The bathroom is en suite and also clean and the shower is excellent. We had breakfast served on the terrace in the morning at a time to suit us. The pool is small and clean and is to die for in the sunny heat of Gozo. There is a mini fridge with a variety of drinks which you can help yourself and this is on an "honesty" basis with a price list in your room. We spent 6 days here in July and can honestly say feel chilled/refreshed . All in all an excellent break.

Bayview B&B is a gem of a bed and breakfast in Qala on the island of Gozo with superb views of Comino and Malta. The rooms are clean and comfy with en suite bathrooms in a 200 year old typical Gozotian farmhouse. The full english breakfasts are absolutely fabulous and plentiful. Our hosts are lovely people who made our stay a home away from home and nothing was too much trouble for them from helping us organise a quad bike to collecting us from the ferry in the middle of the night to assisting with information about what to do and where to go. There is a lovely swimming pool deck where you can chill out for a couple of hours. We highly recommend Bayview and will be back. Many thanks Chrissy and Denis.

We've just spent a week at the Bayview, the building is a beautifully restored farm house with loads of charming features. Chrissy and Dennis where great hosts who couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and at home. The breakfasts where lovely and any requests happily met. Chrissy is a font of information about where to go and what to see and a very good taxi driver!(thanks for the lifts )

Chrissy is a very kind and nice person. Her B&B is located in a wonderful place, not far from a little beach in front of Comino!
The English breakfast is very tasty.
Having breakfast on the terrace next to the pool looking at the sea is a very good start!
Her kitten is very sweet!

This place has so many things to go for, great location, large rooms built of a old house think stone, very lovely owners and close to restaurants and beach. A few things to take into consideration, it can become very noisy during the early morning as everyone pass making noise selling things, breakfast is limited to full English breakfast, you have to pay cash and it is a bit expensive for what it is, but overall we had a very good time and as I said the owners are great friendly, flexible and helpful
