A very nice place to stay at, the room was very clean, cosy and it had a lovely view. The area was nice with lots of parking space available. Breakfast was delicious and staff was welcoming. Highly recommend il pomo bianco!

We stayed two nights in Il Pomo Bianco. The room with balcony and sea view was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was pleasant with lots of fruits, eggs and pastries, different juices and good coffee etc.
Angela and Mario are really kind and welcoming. We would definitely recommend to stay there during the holidays in Gozo.

Mille Grazie Angela e Mario!

We had an amazing stay. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect. A wide variety of options were available for breakfast, including fresh fruit, croissants, cereals, coffees, teas, muffins, and so on. Eggs and bacon are also on offer. The owners of the business are great people. They were quick to help and we have very fond memories of talking with them at breakfast. The building itself is easy to find from the ferry, and near the center of Qala. And yes, the nearby church played Ave Maria every morning at 0800.

We had a very pleasant 2 nights stay at Il Pomo Bianco and can only agree with everything said in the recent previous reviews, it was an amazing place and felt just like staying with friends. The home baked croissants are definitely worth coming back to Gozo for! Angela recommended a very nice restaurant for our evening meal, Fliegu in Nadur, just a five minute drive away. Another recommendation and a very interesting place to see is the Saltpans on the northern coast of Gozo. The road from there leads to Wied-Il-Ghash with amazing rock formations and an arch. We also went to the Blue Window which unfortunately collapsed last year in a bad storm, but is still a nice place to visit, with the Inland Sea just close by. There are many interesting places and spectacular views on the island to visit within easy driving distance. There is also much less traffic than on Malta, which is a big bonus. If we should ever come back to Malta, we would just stay on Gozo and hopefully with Angela & Mario, that was the highlight of our week on Malta.

Just got back from a 2-night stay at this lovely B&B. The property has been recently renovated by an Italian family, located in a very quite village called Qala (20-30 mins away from the Terminal). Just a few minutes down the road there is Hondoq Bay (lovely small beach). The management are simply lovely and very accommodating! They take care of you throughout the whole stay - in fact they greeted us with coffee and let us stay at the property to use the outdoor pool post check-out. Aside from the wonderful property/rooms & management, the breakfast was delicious. The management offer a choice of English breakfast, fresh fruit, cereals, fresh croissants (with Nutella), etc - one is definitely spoilt for choice! Overall what I liked the most is the 'home stay' environment, i.e. whilst one is away on holiday you'll still feel at home most especially since the place is managed by a nice sweet family (they do everything themselves which makes you respect them even more!)

If one is looking for a place to unwind and simply relax this is the place!

Extra Info:
- Ample parking space
- Hondoq Bay just a few minutes away from the property
- Pet friendly
- Qala Church next to the property

A beautiful B&B and the best breakfast ever! Warm croissants and escargot, super fresh cut up fruit salad and fruit, beautiful coffees and more!!

The beds were the most comfortable I’ve had on the whole trip.

An amazing view with a beautiful pool.

Thank you Angela!!

The B&B sits at the edge of the village, just before reaching the cemetery; the location offers a nice view onto the countryside, the sea, and the Blue Lagoon in the distance. The building and the rooms are nicely refurbished, with a lot of attention to detail (from decor items to adapters that are provided in the room).

The rooms are spacious, with a large wardrobe offering lots of space to store your things; the beds are very comfortable – I slept like a baby…

The WiFi worked well; I found all I needed for the stay (eg fridge, hair dryer). A little minus: Unfortunately, the windows cannot be fully darkened; there are curtains, but they are not fully opaque.

Although the rural setting in principle offers a quiet environment, during the day you hear the agricultural activities around (which can include machinery), and depending on the main wind direction you can hear airplanes starting and landing throughout the day and into the night (which obviously applies to all accommodation on Gozo, and most on Malta); a nearby church with a bell tower (rings from 6 am, with a little ‘concert’ at 8 am and 12 noon).

A nice breakfast is served from 8 to 9.30 h; the choice is somewhat limited, but you can have freshly prepared coffee or tea, a croissant, cookies, bread, scrambled eggs with bacon, cheese and tomato, and fresh fruits.

Your hosts will offer you a bit of an introduction to the island (including nearby restaurants; Ta’ Vestru is good), and will do their utmost to resolve any problems you might have – just ask…

The rooms are normally cleaned every two days; check-out is already at 10 h, but – depending on availability – you can arrange to leave later in the day.

I would like to rate Il Pomo Biancho as the best B&B in Gozo and I give it a full 5 stars.
Mario and Angela are very friendly, professional and make their patrons feel at home. They offered us a lovely room with a splendid view of Comino. The room was very clean with a spacious bathroom, a large TV, AC, a well equipped refrigerator and the privilege of a kettle with coffee/tea etc. The breakfast consisted of mouthwatering homemade fresh croissants, coffee, teas, a large assortment of yogurts, fruit, juices, eggs, bacon, toast..you name it. A very relaxing stay indeed and we would surely visit again.

Stayed there for a quick one night break and truly enjoyed it! We had a spacious and comfortable room with a lovely sea view. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with great cooked options as well as pastries, cereals and fresh fruit. Location is nice and quiet and close to one of my favorite bays in Gozo.

Would definitely stay there again!

It is in a quiet area but still close enough to go by walk to Qala Square where there are bars/restaurants with live music. Ideal if you have a car as there was ample parking. The property is quaint and beautiful, lovely pool area, not large but enough. Owners very friendly and breakfast was great, there was an option for cooked food in addition to cereals, yoghurts and croissants. Bread was good and the fresh fruits were lovely. A couple of cats near the pool area made our stay even better.
