Great experience at the b&b, managed by Tanja and Vince. Very friendly hosts, who take good care of you and provide astonishing breakfasts. You have the advantage of local information from them, and many tips to explore the island. Near (300 m) some good restaurants in Qala on walking distance, and all the rest you can best do by BOLT taxis which aren't expensive, and take max 10 minutes to arrive.

Tanya and Vince have created a magical, secluded, homey, cozy getaway in Gozo. It is a sanctuary. You are in good hands with Tanya and Vince, very friendly and accommodating and welcoming hosts. Who literally welcome you into their home. The house itself is full of history. The house is in Qala, and easy walking to the main square, and right outside is the bus stop, though Bolt is easy to get too. You will not go hungry or thirsty here as there is always food and drinks on hand. Further, Tanya and Vince know eveyrone on Gozo and Malta so you cant go wrong with their recommendations for things to do, places to eat, or stories to tell. By the end you become family and Dar Ta' Zeppi becomes your home away from home.

Set in a beautiful town house on the main street out of Qala village core, where the owners Tanja and Vince live on the premises with their grown up son, there are only 5 rooms for rent.
Luckily for us visiting from Malta, the effect of Covid-19 on tourism from abroad had created some availability in this place which is normally booked well ahead from season to season.
Each room is different, all of them are very spacious and far bigger than rooms in other places I have been too. Immediately makes you feel at home! Despite being off a main road, none of the rooms are on the front and you wake up in the morning to cocks crowing and no hint of traffic. All the facilities are clean and comfortable, large walk in shower, large double beds, ample space in drawers and cupboards to unpack into and AC and/or ceiling fan, fully stocked fridges and TV and WiFi in all rooms. The pool is a God send for anyone wanting to avoid swimming in the nearby sea, it’s refreshing, with ample space around the pool to relax on sun beds and socially distance. The rest of the garden is also fully available, with plenty of space to sit and read, drink a favourite tipple, or play chess or table tennis.
Last but not least, is the ample breakfast provided. Fresh juices and smoothies, fruit, yogurts, cakes, cheeses, bread for toasting, eggs cooked any which way you choose, and they go out of their way to accommodate food intolerances according to your needs. The added bonus is that the cakes and fruit are brought out again for afternoon tea, when one can help themselves.
