Detailed Reviews
This hotel has been perfect for my daughter and I. We are visiting on her college spring break. At the last minute I changed our reservation from the Residence Inn to the Delta and I’m so glad that I went with my gut on that. For overall quality and location this is so much better. It’s recently been renovated and new pool area is beautiful! It’s walking distance to some inexpensive food options and the Winn Dixie nearby has fresh sandwiches made daily which has been our cheap lunch each day. My only complaint is the refrigerator in the room is useless as it does not get cold. The desk told me it’s supposed to simply chill items. Well it doesn’t even do that. So I bought an inexpensive cooler at to have in room for keeping snacks and drinks cold. But other than that, it’s been perfect and I’d stay here again. It is a little far from the action of Daytona but that was fine for us. Although I wouldn’t want to be farther than this. Lots of families with kids. We saw a few other college kid groups. Overall it’s been a great trip and glad we stayed here.

Great day at the Delta Resort. Yuri, the bartender, made it extra special with his kind, pleasant, attentive personality and provided great service, good food and drinks. The hot tub and pool area were like new and convenient restroom near the pool was an added bonus. My husband and I got a day pass and we are so glad we did!

+1
We booked a stay at the Delta with some trepidation as we were unfamiliar with this small chain. Since it is a Marriott property,we figured it was probably a decent place.
The hotel is nice, the lobby is relaxing and somewhat spacious. The patio out back is a great place to sit or lay back and listen to the wind and waves. I would not be hard to sit there for hours. And it’s in a good beachfront location.
The rooms were spacious and well appointed, with some innovative decorative items. As an aside, they had the first toilet I’ve ever seen that was in the corner of the bathroom. The shower was nice. With a good shower head. My big complaint was the bed. Make no mistake the mattress was very comfortable and we slept well. However the bed had a wooden frame which is very easy to hit with your shin,as both of us painfully did. All rooms have a balcony with an ocean view.
The front desk could be a bit more accommodating. We were told we’d get a text message when our room was ready, but it never came. They often seemed to have better things to do than help guests. Parking is $13 a day. There is not a complimentary breakfast.

The hotel sustained damage from the hurricane, was informed that none of the ocean front rooms were available and would be out of service until next year. No mention on their website about this???
Rooms that were available are near the road and there is a lot of highway noise. One of the elevators is used for construction, so essentially down to one elevator. Reward members get a free piece of toast and oatmeal or cereal for breakfast. This is one of the skimpiest breakfasts for Reward members I have ever experienced.
Linch isn’t available onsite, but they start serving Dinner at 5 pm, which does have some good options.
Pool bar is open from 11-5 and Justin was our server, he was the highlight of our stay, keeping us entertained and providing a lot of laughs.
Seems after the hurricane there isn’t much beach left and high tide was up against the seawall.
There has been some remodeling of the rooms and they were updated nicely.

Charged me $3800 for two weeks in a room with an obstructed view and a broken-down mattress. Front desk clerk stated there were no other rooms available and would check with the manager about getting a fridge for my medications. Never heard back from her.

Our stay was fantastic in this beachfront hotel, where the staff always greeted you as you went in or out of the hotel. Our clean spacious room was very comfortable, with good quality bedding and towels. The complementary coffee every morning was a nice touch to start the day. Overall this hotel offered just about everything we could have wanted, together with its location- right on the beach it was perfect

Very nice hotel with pretty, clean and spacious rooms. Plenty of parking. Pool was nice. Great location on the beach and not in over crowded part of strip. Staff in lounge and front desk were wonderful. Elevators- only 2 small ones were slow, so i was happy we were on the 2nd floor and could take stairs.
Not a fan of the avocado toast but boyfriend enjoyed his omelet.

Great stay!! It was my husband's birthday and the Manager Kim helped make it super special! Also, really enjoyed chatting with the bartender at the pool bar, Justin. Room was clean and staff was friendly. the only down thing if I had to say anything was the woman in the dining area. She charged me $6 for a plain tea, because it wasn't on the coffee bar. Went to the main desk and they took it off.
We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. It was a super time and I'd definitely go back again!

We just returned from a two-night stay at the Marriott Delta Hotel in Daytona Beach Shores. Upon check-in we met with the most delightful young lady, Shian, who made our process a pleasure. Our room was beautiful on the 3td floor with a lovely view of the ocean. During our stay we had the opportunity to see Shian several times again and she always had such a pleasant smile on her face and a very welcoming attitude.
Although this was our first time staying at the Delta, we definitely plan to stay many more times in the future.

Great staff running this establishment. They take great care of me. Especially Trish who works at the front desk, she was helpful and accommodating. The bartender Paige is also nice as is the staff that runs the restaurant. Would highly recommend staying here for business or recreation.

Oatmeal or cold cereal, with seasonal berries, milk & choice of toast, bagel, croissant, or muffin and a glass of juice and unlimited coffee.
Yes, all rooms have balconies. Standard rooms face the south, view rooms face the north and oceanfront rooms face east.
We dont have beach chairs available, but some of our lounge chairs face the ocean on the pool deck.
