Beautifully located place, quiet yet close to the city of Hoorn. A bit spartanly furnished, even warm water for washing dishes must be bought with special coins. Gladly again! The Eetcafe next door is good and cozy.

Expensive at 75 euros for 2 nights in a camper van.
No toilet paper provided, no soap to wash hands.
No hot water to wash dishes.
You have to pay extra to use the shower it’s on a timer, it was supposed to be 6 minutes mine lasted 3!
Noisy, heavily trafficked main road very close.
It’s 40 minutes walking to Hoorn.
There’s no shops close by and the reception only opens at odd times for a short spell.

Whilst the grounds are pleasant it is otherwise a place to be avoided. Close proximity to a motorway with heavy traffic trundling through all night. Communal bathroom facilities do not provide toilet paper, soap, nor paper towels. This is hardly conducive to good hygiene if people cannot wash their hands after using the loo, goodness knows what germs would be discovered if the place was swabbed! But worst of all, despite the lack of these provisions, it is astonishingly expensive at €30 per night to pitch a tent! And €0.75 per shower token on top of that. Never again.

Beautifully well maintained site. The area for caravans, campers and tents is lovely with little hedges separating each plot Cars are not allowed on site after pitching, but the secure car park is close by.The facilities are well cared for.Spotless showers/toilets but hot water tokens are extra, available at reception.Fresh rolls are available to pre-order at reception for next day.The on site restaurant looks nice ,but it was closed when we were there.Friendly helpful staff and we will definitely come back :-)

It's a camping but it seems a luxurious hotel!
We stayed in a big chalet, elegant and clean.
A little bit far from the city and all service and shops, but near a big beautiful forest.
It's expansive but.. perfect.
