We have just returned from our fantastic holiday staying in Philippos apartments. The reviews are all good because the family go above and beyond in all they do. Our accommodation was in one of the bungalows which was quite spacious with a large very comfortable bed. It overlooked beautiful gardens and in spite of being close to the main road, was surprisingly peaceful. Georges, the owner was extremely helpful and his lovely mother, I called Mumma is a very special lady. She prepared the breakfasts which for seven euros were amazing value and what was even better, we were given silver foil to wrap up any food to take away for later! The beach is very close by but be warned, there are large pebbles so a good idea to wear rubber bottomed shoes in the sea. The bus service is good and cheap. Only downside is the walk along the main road to the tavernas and a pity there were not a few more of these.

Just spent 2 weeks at this lovely hotel. When we arrived George greeted us with a smile and made us feel very welcome. He gave us 2 bottles of water which was a nice gesture. He then showed us to our room and explained everything to us .The free air con was a bonus The room was on the top floor above the main hotel and had a very large balcony with views to the mountains and a side view of the sea.
The cleaning staff worked like " Trojans " and were very friendly and always left the room spotlessly clean. A big thank you to both of you xx
The nearest tavernas were a good 15 minute walk away . You have to be aware that the walk is alongside a very busy road, with no marked foot path. And you have to be alert to watch out for the oncoming traffic. Once you were there though, we ate at some lovely tavernas with great food. Our favourites were the the Apico Cafe and the Pantazis Tavern, they all served great meals with a lot of choice on the menus to choose from and reasonable prices. Would recommend the house wines to try.

We would both like to say a big thank you, to George and his sister and all the staff at the "Philippos Hotel" for our recent enjoyable stay. We would like to wish you all best for the future .
Kind regards Roger & Shirley

I stayed here last week, what a find it was. On arrival, the owner George gave me so much useful information, a little map of where the bakery was, bus stops for Lefkada and Nadri, times of the buses, WiFi code which had excellent reception, extra tablets for the mosquito plug in. Showed me to my studio and explained how everything worked.

The rooms are cleaned to an exceptional standard with bedding and towel changes every couple of days. Thank you, Christina.

The beach is just a short stroll across from the apartments. It is a pebble beach and nice and relaxing. Take water shoes with you. There is a wee truck there that you can get sandwichs, toasties, and refreshments. Hire sunbeds and umbrella. The cost for 2 x beds and an umbrella was 12 euros, and they opened at 9 am.

There are plenty of supermarkets in Nikiana, lots of good produce. These are about a 10-minute walk away.

The restaurants at the marina are delightful and had some excellent meals out.

George's mama tends to the gardens, and they are amazing, just full of life. She also invited me to have a glass of her homemade cherry water, delicious and so kind of her to do so.

I adored this place and can't wait to go back. I had such a relaxing holiday and came home fully relaxed. The main road runs beside the path and pavements that lead to you to the marina area. They are well lit the whole way back.

Highly recommend this charming apartments.

Thank you for making my holiday 💕

Nice airconditioned apartment, spotlessly clean and with all the facilities we needed. Jorge is the most helpful manager you could hope to meet and very welcoming. The apartment was 2 minutes walk from a nice, smaller, pebbly beach that gets busy but not crowded. The town with plenty, family oriented bars and restaurants, is again busy, but not crowded and is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the apartments. Larger towns of Lefkas and Nydri are around 15 Euros by taxi in opposite directions and worth a visit or two. There is also a bus service running just outside the apartments which is reasonably reliable

My daughter and I have just returned from this wonderful place. The rooms were spacious and well equipped and we only had to ask and were given anything we needed. The location was perfect just 2 minutes from the beach and Georges recommended the best restaurant in Nikiana which we loved so much we kept going back.
Lefkada is a beautiful island which we enjoyed exploring in our hire car.
We will definitely be back!

Modern structure composed of some buildings divided by a well-kept central garden. Our apartment included a kitchen with two single beds, a bedroom and a bathroom with a large shower. Both rooms, very spacious, were equipped with air conditioning with balconies equipped with chairs and table. Excellent cleaning carried out every day, with frequent change of sheets and bath towels. In the garden there is a barbecue for guests. The location is strategic, halfway between Lefkada Town and Nidry, the two busiest villages on the island in the evening, both reachable in just over ten minutes by car. About 200 meters from the property, crossing the road and along a dirt road in a sort of pine forest, you reach a beautiful beach, a pebble inlet, transparent and always calm sea. Special mention should be made to the owner Giorgio, omnipresent, speaks fluent Italian, always very kind and helpful, ready to give advice on what to do in Lefkada.

We had a nice stay, owner is very friendly and helpful, also very flexible. Our studio was nice with a lovely balcony with garden view. Fantastic view to the old olive trees, real mediterranien vibe. Fresh towels every day. Location is perfect too, capital is 10 minutes by car, Nidri is close too, also some of the best beaches and the monastery are within a short drive. Airport is about 30 minutes. Local beach is nice too, calm beach with shallow crystalclear water, no big waves. There are local groucery shops or you can go to Lefkada where there are biger supermarkets, no more than 10 minutes. There is a lovely bakery within a short walk, very good quality. I would highly recommend this place

We had a two week holiday staying at the Philippos Apartments on the island of Lefkada. The hotel is convenient for the local bus going to Nidri or Lefkada town, the nearest beach is just across the main Rd. It is a little walk to the nearest restaurants and shops about 1km, The manager was very helpful to us booking a "Covid" test for us in the nearby town giving us advice where to eat and just a very pleasant person. He upgraded our room since we were entering a lower season from studio to apartment.

Just back from a fantastic stay at Philippos. They couldn’t have been kinder and the apartments were delightful.
We were in a lovely apartment but on the first night on our return from a restaurant we were met by the owner who informed us there was a problem with the electricity and that he would move us to another apartment. At first we were reluctant to move as we were delighted with the apartment we had but the second apartment was just as good if not better.
They went out of their way to help and were keen to ensure that everything was ok. It was more than ok.
The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. Breakfast at only 6 euros was a feast that we could not finish as there was so much put in front of us.
Bus stop close by. Beach a little walk across the road. All together delightful.
We can’t wait to go back again.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had the budget room which I have to say was fantastic we couldn’t see any rooms we wouldn’t be happy with, if you go on their own website it tells you where the rooms are, I find it hard to see how anyone could be disappointed whatever room they had

Just a 10 min stroll into Nikiana itself, we got the bus to Nidri to see what car hire there was and got one on the spot when dropping it off had the evening in Nidri and got the bus back, 3 tavernas and a couple of bars on the sea and a few on the road through Nikiana, car hire good because the stunning beaches are on the other coast just 20 mins away but a nice beach with beach bar on 200 meters from Philippos
