We chose this hotel based on the views and the reviews. The views did not disappoint it is in a spectacular position. Situated on a slope on top of a hill, consisting of several buildings around a sort of courtyard with reception at the top of the slop then going down to the pool, bar and restaurant on the bottom of the slop, but still high up with fabulous views. The pool is really lovely with a variety of sunbeds to choose from. The staff are wonderful they really cannot do enough for you. A special thanks to Apostolia and Elena on reception who went our of their way to help.

We had booked and paid extra for a superior sea view room. We were in a more conventionally designed block at the top of the slope next to reception, on the top floor two flights of steps and no lift. Yes we had a lovely view from the balcony but the room itself was not superior, although spacious, the bathroom was tiny and dark the only window opening onto a walkway which meant keeping the shutters closed. It really needs refurbishment, we had wobbly taps and toilet flush and seat. The shower ran hot or cold and nothing in between. The shower curtain didn't reach the floor so the whole space would get wet. None of these things are unusual in Greek hotels unless of course you pay for 4/5 star, and didn't really affect our enjoyment of the holiday, we did not pay 5 star prices here.

Be warned as mentioned the hotel buildings are on a slope, there are many steps most without rails, so it is really not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

There was a minibus service from the hotel into Nydri 4 times a day which we used most evenings to go in for a meal, the last one returning was 8.45 pm, a bit early but a taxi back was only E10. There are a huge number of restaurants in Nydri from which to choose.

Just returned from a fabulous holiday in Lefkas. Unfortunately our only disappointment of the holiday was the accommodation!
The only availability was the standard room for our chosen dates. So we did our research and these rooms on the website looked more than acceptable. They were described as ‘light and airy’ neither of which was true. No 42 …Our bathroom was slightly below ground level so if the window was opened, we were greeted with people from reception looking directly at us!
The bedroom was ok but very dark, extremely small windows. Very limited drawer space so hung a few items up but lived out of the suitcase which was very difficult to view because of the lack of light.
There was a kettle which was good but no cups so we brought back some cups from breakfast to keep in the room.
It was beautifully clean and there was a bedding and towel change daily.
There was also free air conditioning which was very pleasing as often this is an expensive ‘extra’!
Another very positive aspect was the pool towels issued for free by the poolside.
Breakfast was adequate. No butter for the bread so we took our own down. Seating area was perfect.
Pool was beautiful but very deep for 4/5 of the area.
Views were absolutely outstanding ! Fabulous !
Needed a car and nothing was within easy walking distance due to hill location.
All in all , staff were pleasant and helpful.
Would definitely return to Lefkas ! Wonderful scenery, beaches, food and people but sadly would not return to Red Tower.

Location: splendid building with rooms and towers facing a 180 degree sea view. Hotel with several parking spaces, beautiful swimming pool with a depth of up to m. 3.30. Nice spaces for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Availability of sunbeds, umbrellas and sponge service without deposit. We stayed in one of the towers which offered 2 rooms on two floors. Unfortunately the furnishings are very neglected, worn, sometimes damaged. The few European power sockets are flanked by sockets (perhaps Greek) with holes too close to be used. The doors have a 2000s office model opening button, often with missing lids, they got stuck, not allowing easy closure, for which we were provided with a single traditional key. We had some problems directing the air flow from the air conditioner which was "shooting" directly onto the bed and during the time we were there it reached 40 degrees: considering the noise coming from the coastal road we couldn't keep the windows open. On a beautiful balcony overlooking the hotel and the sea, 2 very worn wooden chairs bordering on dangerous. The bathroom, the worst image due to the age of the sanitary fixtures and the lack of bidet and a shower where a bathtub offered a "telephone" without any fixing hook which forces you to wash with one hand. The safe, despite the instructions given to us at reception, was impossible to use. Breakfast: it is unthinkable to start at 8.00 and often late with people locked outside waiting for the start. The choice was not the richest and worse, every day something was missing or unavailable such as bottles of water (often served hot), brioches (counted), yoghurt (and we are in Greece!), or honey, when available were supplied with industrial supplies, right here that together with the olive oil there are the most genuine products. The staff always replied "no problem" but the problems of unavailability remained. At breakfast, out of a dozen tables, there were only two in the shade. We often gave up by going to the bakeries along the way. The cleaning, although it always happened at different times, often when we were still in the room or when we returned in the afternoon, was thorough and precise, very satisfying. The staff seemed a little improvised and without a real guide-manager to direct the pace and tasks. In short, the holiday was excellent between a beach towel that was missing today and some gusts of an incredible sewage smell during the day and sometimes in the evening that we couldn't understand where it was coming from, but passing off this hotel as a 4 star is unfair and wrong; we have frequented 3 star hotels that were much more well looked after and organised. It's a shame because a little more maintenance and precision and presence on the part of the staff who were often on the sidelines looking at their cell phones would be enough...

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. the Staff is very friendly . If possible book a room with sea view. We had one, and it is great if you sit on your own terrace, either early in the morning or in the evening. The swimming pool is very nice and there was room for everybody to have a sunbed. There was no need to lay down towels, but you always have some guests who want to have the same spot every day. Breakfast is not extensive but good. We had a very nice room, which was cleaned every day. The hotel is not so suitable for elderly people, who do not walk so good. Also not very suitable for families with small children (not a small child friendly swimmingpool), but it is great for couples who seek a great spot to unwind. Nidri is about 45 minute walk, or you can take the shuttle from the hotel. There is also a nice restaurant about 300 meters up the road. A lot of nice restaurants and bars can be found in Nidri, (about 10 Euro (incl tip) for a taxi ride back to the hotel). Take a cruise with the M/S Christina, leaving from Nidri to the forgotten Islands. you will not regret it

We stayed at this hotel for 1 week. Excellent personal experience regarding the room (well-organized quadruple suite with comfortable beds); you can not say the same for breakfast (too much packaged food; only worthwhile "specialty" Greek yogurt). Experience not so pleasant for our friends who while paying more for the suite with sea view, stayed in a room "renovated" roughly and with a sofa bed with too soft a mattress (model "hammock"). To recognize, however, the availability of the staff who made available as soon as possible (unfortunately only for the last 2 days) 2 very comfortable double rooms with private outdoor hot tub!

We chose this hotel based on the description on their website etc. We were very disappointed in the bedrooms. The description said “light and airy” - they were dark and dingy, so much so that we nicknamed them the ‘caves’. There was a kettle in the room but no cups, tea or coffee. There was a fridge. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels and linen. WiFi was almost impossible to use.

The view from the pool and breakfast area was absolutely stunning! And some of the rooms also had a fantastic view. The pool was lovely, although not really suitable for children or non-swimmers as it is very deep. There was also no jacuzzi on poolside as stated which was very disappointing. The pool bar was never open - we did enquire and was told that the staff are there and we just had to ask. Seems like there is a lack of staff as there was only ever 2/3 main staff there the whole week.

The breakfast was adequate, and we were advised to get down early otherwise it would all be gone. We ended up taking our own coffee, milk and butter down to breakfast as the coffee machine was broken, and the milk tasted off. They also seemed to have a wasp problem, which is not their fault, but it made eating breakfast a bit difficult as you were constantly worried that you were going to be stung.

You definitely need a car if staying here as there is nowhere to eat or shops to buy things from within walking distance.

Nydri was a great place to go to eat and shop which was a 10 minute drive away. The beaches on the island were all fabulous but an umbrella for shade is needed.

Would definitely return to Lefkas but NOT to Red Tower Hotel. Think it needs better management and some updating.

We arrived late evening on the 3rd of September 2023 ,
We asked the receptionists if there was drinks or food available she apologised most sincerely that these facilities where not available, we were disappointed! Very.
Not a good start.
Vasiliki was brilliant to be fair to her.
As for her manager not impressed at all very abrupt at the point rudeness.
As for the rest of the staff over worked and clearly under paid. However they too were brilliant.

The plus for this hotel is the view, the room was ok acceptable for it’s so called 3 star rating,as for the rest not good in my opinion.

This hotel has great potential if the company who owns it made the effort, but alas I think there policy is to take as much money from the guest with little care or thought for their needs!!

Biggest no no for me was the drinks for the room no cups , also I was informed I’d be charged for the tea bags! 3 stars I don’t think so!!!

Starting with the positives, the hotel has incredible views. The staff are hardworking, attentive and kind. Each day our room was freshened up and new towels provided which was great. There was always sun beds available by the pool despite the hotel being fully booked. I liked the location but would definitely recommend a car to get about.

Sadly it was apparent to me that the management is very poor. The staff were trying their best to provide a service with very little resources. At breakfast time there was a few occasions where they ran out of coffee and other essentials.
The bar was very rarely open during my stay. I was told it was closed due to lack of staff. I am not surprised they are lacking staff considering I heard how they were being spoken too by the blonde manager. On the few occasions I saw the manager, I witnessed her being quite rude to her staff, which shocked me as they were the ones working hard and holding the hotel up. The staff were great, helpful and going above and beyond their role. It seemed they did not sleep as whenever I was up, they were up also. It’s such a shame to hear how their manager speaks to them.

The facilities were lacking. Our bathroom was in need of an update and was very impractical, constantly soaking wet from the shower.
The swimming pool was dirty around the edge and the grating was mouldy. There was no jacuzzi as advertised.
The hotel is situated up a steep hill, which was difficult to drive up as I am not used to it. Once up there, the parking situation is not ideal as there it little room to manoeuvre the tight spaces.

I hope that the manager of this hotel can improve her establishment and the way she treats her staff for there is huge potential.

We stayed after an early arrival in this relatively small hotel. We booked it for the swimming pool and that is really the most amazing attraction. A big pool with a superb view. They handled Covid very well, with service at the breakfast buffet.
Very good snacks at the pool, especially the salads. Good service at the bar.

We booked a seaside view suite, which is really big and has a good airco. Worth the extra money. I would suggest to improve the finishing of the bathroom. This is very basic with a lot of silicone used to cover up. Also a suggestion to finish the music at the bar when there is only one couple left, no doubt our early flight made me critical on this.

Nevertheless super stay, I hope to return once.

Beautiful hotel with breathtaking views.
the rooms were well decorated and very clean and well presented.
pool are was spacious and comfituble with ample loungers
The staff were brilliant and went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible.
im british so there has to be a moan, the returant was only open for breakfast which was mediocre at best and the bar was not open for any time during our stay, however we were just out of season so we didnt expect the full amenties. Beware the taxis and buses are very hit and miss with times and availbility but the lovely lady on reception will help you.
