Just returned from a 10 day stay. Myself (48 and disabled) and son (18). Arrived as a guest and left as friend! George and family are amazing. Incredibly helpful. Always happy to see you, they use your name from word go so you feel less like a guest and more like a friend. The atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing, all the guests are friendly and happy to talk to you or spend time with you, some coming back year after year.Food excellent, plenty of options to suit every palate. Massive drinks menu if you like that sort of thing ..I only had one or two 😜. Rooms are spotless, cleaned every day towels changed every day if required, but in the interest of saving labour and the planet you have the option to keep them a few days before changing. Balcony with seating, overlooks the pool which is sparkling clean. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas never had to fight for one even at the busy periods. Aircon is extra but if on a tight budget like us and on the second or top floor it is possible to do without by keeping your window open. The noise even with the window open is minimal most nights so never had a problem getting asleep. However it is a resort so sometimes it’s noisy, during our 10 days this only happened twice and only once did it continued past 1am, but who goes to bed before midnight when on holiday anyway? The room itself is basic but lovely even with that. Spacious, airy, nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable and clean. Bathroom isn’t palatial but it’s clean, modern and let’s face it you will be doing only two things in it so who needs a grand hall for them!🤣 I loved the the hotels idea of recycling books left by guests and any unwanted things like sunscreen, cooking items, wash powder, toiletries. Saving the planet people!. They provide evening entertainment a few times a week which is always fun. The hotel is also ideally placed. If you are looking for a slightly quieter and slower pace, it’s location away from the busy Fallaraki, Lindos and Rodos resorts is perfect. There are regular air conditioned buses taking you all over the island (€3.60 for two adults to Lindos) that start early and finish late. There are some lovely restaurants in Lardos itself and nearby Pefki. If you are going fully self catering there are several supermarkets with everything you need and more besides. The nearest beach is is about a 5/10min walk away, but it’s stony and there is a water sports centre there., if that doesn’t bother you then it’s fine for young and old to spend the day there. A few bars too for those all important drinkies. The sunbeds are cheap €10 for two as opposed to the unbelievable €10(each) - €60 for two, charged at some of the more popular beaches!😳 the thing I’m taking away with me though is the amazing, friendly and welcoming atmosphere we experienced at Cosmos Maris from George and the crew and the other guests. Both my son and I agreed that we will definitely be coming back! And we can’t wait!

Just returned from a fantastic family holiday at the lovely Cosmos Maris ( 2 adults, 2 teens & a granny) we all had a brilliant time. George and his team were excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, he remembered all our names whenever he spoke to us which is very impressive as he had a lot of guests.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, fresh towels are provided daily and the rooms are lovely and spacious with a large curved balcony (room14)
The air con was €50 for the week but worth every penny as the heat was excessive while we were staying.
The bar was excellent and well stocked and all reasonably priced drinks. The food was agin excellent, good quality and large selection of dishes to suit all (even a fussy teenager)!
The WiFi in the bar was good, but you can pay to have it in your room if required. We paid €20 to keep our room until 5pm on check out day as we had a late flight. Taxi to Pefkos was €12 and Lindos €15 both worth visiting.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary during our stay and George put a bottle of bubbly and glasses in our room with rose petals on the bed, such a lovely gesture!
This hotel is excellent value for money, you cannot fault it in any way!
In fact we enjoyed our stay so much myself and my husband have booked to go back for a week in October…… Yammas !!!

Room 23, top floor mid block.

Not one fault with the hotel, staff or amenities.

George and his team go above and beyond to make your holiday everything it can be.

The cleaning staff work as a group hitting all the work together, it’s so nice to hear them laughing as they blitzed the grounds and rooms. This clearly has an impact, it’s the cleanest hotel I’ve been in, in Greece.

The pool is deep, almost 3m and spacious.

Only ate once at the hotel and it was good, also very popular with the many guests who seem to never leave (about 2/3rds of the hotel!).

Location is in a quiet area, but we still needed to get the air con so we could close the doors and cut out the noise, mainly from the bar in front which has an air hockey table and the clacking at 2am was an issue.

We mainly went to Lardos village for dinner, very vibrant with a healthy mixture of locals and tourists, around 2k away.

Overall I throughly recommend the hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely self catering apartments with great pool bar/restaurant that offers a large range of delicious food for breakfast, lunch & dinner. All very reasonably priced , as are the drinks and cocktails. We were lucky to get one of the larger rooms with curved balcony on the top floor , simply furnished but very clean and great views to the pool & sea. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool & no need to rush down early. What makes this place special are the staff , from the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome and makes for a great atmosphere with all the other guests .

We landed here at 1.30 am, and the bar was open with guests laughing and chatting, we thought "we are gonna enjoy it here" , with 5 star hospitality from George, Xanthia, Dorathea and Dimi. We had a fantastic, relaxing time at the Cosmos.
Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage space, the beds were comfy and there is a kitchenette which we never used apart from the toaster. We paid for AC as it was needed and costs £50 a week. WI-FI in the room has also to be paid for otherwise its free around the bar area. There are no TV's in the rooms and no complimentary toiletries but this wasn't a problem for us. The maids came in everyday to either empty the bins, tidy round or change the bedding/towels.The food served at the hotel was very good, especially the homemade carrot cake and dolmades with huge portions as you get in all Greek restaurants.
The pool is a nice size, clean but on the cold side but there was plenty of free inflatables, to enjoy and enough sunbeds available.
As plenty of other reviewers have said, this is a 2 star hotel in name ,but with 5 star hospitality from all the staff, nothing is to much trouble We can see why there are so many returning guests and we'll be one of them. We highly recommend the Cosmos Maris.

I stayed at that hotel for 2 weeks and can confirm its clean and tidy. But this is a very budget hotel, the room was very small, no TV, kitchenette good enough for preparing tea and coffee only. Not even any soap in the bathroom to wash hands after arriving. Sheets was not been changed during all stay. No free internet in rooms, you had to bay for €3 per device per day. Air condition is also extra paid €50 per week.
The worst thing is location this is not Lardos but Lotharica and there is nothing around just 1 bar, 2 restaurants and a few shops with rubbish souvenirs and basic food.
Beach is very close just 8-10 min walk, but it’s horrible: rock and stones, busy motor sports centre it is noisy and smells of petrol. No sun beds and umbrellas, there are plenty but belongs to beach hotels and you mustn’t use them. The nearest sunny beach is in Pefcos you can go there by bus ticket cost €1.8 one way and sun beds rental is €15 per day.
In Pefkos there are also a huge number of shops, bars and restaurants, where you can try excellent local cuisine. Alternatively you can go for dinner to Lardos 40 minutes walking distance from Cosmos Maris or buy something at hotel’s bar.
It was very boring to stay there, no internet, no TV, nothing around. Hotel offered entertainment once per week a trio singing of fifties and sixties songs.
I recommend a hotel in a different location. Even all exclusive will be finally cheaper than paying separately for everything at Cosmos Maris.

This hotel is a 2* only in name. We were welcomed 4 hours late at 1:30am by George. He carried our bags to our room sorted our air con and poured us a much needed mythos in a frosty glass. Upon closer inspection of our room there was a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us (it was our honeymoon) on our bed with some flower petals. This was lovely and so unexpected. From day one George greeted us by name and was always happy for a quick chat.
The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms was exceptional, everywhere is spotless and the rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels if needed. The grounds are beautiful with well cared for gardens. Our balcony was huge (room 73) which had an amazing view over the neighbouring hills and across to Pefkos. The food in the hotel was superb fresh delicious and really good value) Lardos is a lovely village that’s not too over developed or crazy busy and the supermarket closest to Cosmos Maris is the best in Lardos (2 minute walk) we hired a car (vital to really appreciate this gorgeous island) and a trip around the coast roads was amazing. By far our best trip was to Rhodes old town which was absolutely stunning. It needs to be seen to be believed.
Our second Greek island visit (first was corfu) and Rhodes was superior in every single way.

We arrived at 3.30M to be met by George with cold water and he took the cases up to our room!!! Brilliant service from start to finish.
The room was big with 3 single beds in which are very comfortable.
George and team are helpful, friendly and will genuinely try to help in any way they can.
Plenty of sunbeds and space everyday so no need for the 3am towel rush I have had previously.
The hotel is 5 mins from a beach which is stoney not sand but lots of water sports. €35 for 15mins jet ski. €12 for crazy sofa(min 2 people).
Evening meal for 3 plus drinks (juice/water) between €50 - €60. All food is amazing, we have been to Savva & Roulas in Lardos taxi is €8 to and €6 return. Both excellent places.
We tried the Taverna Perikos which was lovely too.
The hotel food in the pool bar is fabulous and is a really high standard, everything is beautifully presented and tastes amazing.
The pool is clean and has steps in to the pool which is great.
The whole site is spotless
We had a night of entertainment which was first class too.
Cosmos Maris is an absolutely amazing find and we will 100% be back.

We just arrived back from a lovely 2 week stay here. It’s our first time to Greece and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Wasn’t expecting much for what we paid but what we got was above and beyond our expectations. Spotlessly clean, spacious rooms. Lovely hot showers. Maids came in every day to clean the rooms and make the beds. Staff work extremely hard here and nothing is too much trouble. Food is delicious whether it be a full English breakfast, lunchtime snack or a main meal in the evening. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of coming to Rhodes. Rooms have a small kitchen with a hob, toaster, kettle and fridge. We didn’t cook once as the food at the bar was reasonably priced and delicious. Room Also has a hairdryer, balconies over looking the pool and the ground floor rooms have access to the pool from the sliding doors to your personal outside space. Wouldn’t want stay anywhere else if we were to come again. Other guests were so friendly and talkative which was the cherry on the cake.

We stayed for a week in August 2022. We had two adjoining rooms as requested. We were met by George who is a super friendly chap and made us feel welcome immediately. The rooms were clean and tidy and the cleaning staff work hard to keep it this way. The bar staff work very hard and made you feel at home. The food and drink were great. The pool and pool area was clean and there was always space for people to sit by the pool. The resort is perfect for a peaceful week away from it all. There is a choice of restaurants in the immediate vicinity and for those who like a stroll it is 30 minutes to the village of Lardos. The beach was a five minute walk and was wonderful and clean and you could walk round the coast towards Pefki for quieter swimming. The local supermarkets offer most things you need and were reasonably priced. It is easy to catch a bus to Lindos and other destinations. We had a great time and would recommend Cosmos Maris as a great destination if you are looking for a relaxing holiday.
