Myself and my family are on day 8 of 13 days. The good~ it’s a nice resort, plenty of places to relax, so no mad rush to get sun beds. The beautiful beach is right on your doorstep. There’s loads of water sports also. The rooms are quite small but cleaned daily and fresh towels provided daily. The staff are all really friendly too. It’s a really relaxed place so if you fancy breakfast kn your balcony or in my case Nutella on toast for the kids who are still sleeping it’s no problem, no one takes a blind bit of notice which I love. The not so good~ there is literally nothing for the kids to do, there’s 1 pool table here so the place either needs some proper evening entertainment or arcades just something for the kids to do on an evening as the Wi-Fi isn’t the best either. But you can always venture out if you want to. We were really worried about the food but touch wood its been fine. There’s a side cooking area away from the main restaurant and we’ve had gyros, chinese style pork fried rice and spaghetti carbonara. So overall the food has been fine. I’m a coeliac so have struggled a little but the chef has been spot on and comes out to explain what I can and can’t eat. Luckily I love salad and there’s always a fish dish daily. There’s oranges on a morning so I eat those with dates. Loads of watermelon, apples and grapes which grow on your balcony. We went to beer and burgers for a day which is just across the road which has slides for the kids it cost 66 euros but you got a meal and a drink so was great value for money and I had the best chicken ceaser salad I’ve ever had.

We booked all inclusive for 10 days.
First few days food was fine , but towards the end of the holiday we were fed up with the same choices , I dreaded dinner and actually lost weight!
Drink wise there was, red wine, white wine or beer.
Soft drinks , tea coffee, water.
The wine was served in a tumbler which was bigger than a wine glass and the beer was in the same sized tumbler which was less than a half pint, strange.
All inclusive drinks stopped at 10pm, entertainment started at 9.30pm if you were lucky.
It said when we booked there was a beach party on the Saturday with a fire show, we were there two Saturdays, no show. We had a man singing with a guitar one night, was ok but not great, and the fire show was on the Monday, the night we left so never saw it.
Room was very poor, was one of the old ones, shower tiles were done sealant everywhere, shower curtain that leaked, old fittings.
Toilet base old and marked. Wall next to toilet meant you had to sit at an angle, if you had been on the larger size you wouldn't of been able to use it.
Bedroom furniture old and worn. Our door did not lock from the inside. Room was tiny! Lack of storage. Blind fell off when we tried to close it. Safe broke.
No where to hang wet swimsuits.
Plus side, cleaned daily and fresh towels three times.
Gardens were beautiful, staff friendly apart from bar staff, they looked bored and never welcomed us.
The hotel lacked atmosphere had no holiday vibe. Other hotels either side had entertainment and sounded great.
Location good, buses easy to use, beach ...needed shoes lots of pebbles, sea went deep quickly not good for kids.
Budget hotel, good location and nice gardens but needs refurbished and staff need to be alot more welcoming and friendly. Wouldn't stay here again.

I would recommend this hotel. We have spent really good time with my family here. The beach is just a few meters from the room and there are free sunbeds and beach umbrellas, so you feel very comfortable at the beach. The sea and beach are clean. There is a small shop at the beach so you can buy souvenirs or something you currently need.

As for the room, beds were comfortable, bathroom and shower were nice and we had a terrace. The air conditioner was new, so the room was air-conditioned in a couple of minutes. The room was cleaned every day.

We had all inclusive. There was variety of food, basically everything you need - French fries, pasta, meat, vegetables, rice, salads, grilled meals every dinner, ice cream etc. I have never felt hungry there. When you want to drink something through the day, there is a beach bar where you can have a cold drink.

The staff was very helpful, kind and friendly, especially bartenders George, Seldi and Filip, who made the best drinks for us. At most of the hotels, the staff is unaccommodating, but it definitely cannot happen at this hotel:).

We also liked the evening programme - Greek night or fire show.

Overall, it is very good hotel and I would recommend to enjoy your vacation there:).

I've never left a review before, but I have to share our experience so that other couples/families don't feel the same disappointment we did at this hotel. After a good search for a relaxing holiday we came across Sun Beach Lindos. The pictures looked amazing and it seemed it had everything we were looking for. We booked a week all inclusive and were disappointed to be told at reception the only alcohol included was local beer and wine. No 'house' spirits, no cocktail of the day whilst sat by the pool and no water (soft drinks and coffee were included). We were shown to our room to find out the key was soldered to the electrical fob meaning we couldn't leave the aircon or electric on while we were out. When in the room, if you opened the balcony door the aircon would also turn off. Some basics you'd expect from a hotel room would be to provide shower gel and shampoo for your stay, but not at this hotel. A bar of soap is all you get. Having arrived around 2pm and being shown to our room, we had realised we'd just missed lunch and dinner wouldn't be open until 7pm. There were no afternoon snacks or ice cream to keep you going until then. The hotel is right on the beach and the sunbeds are free, which is a huge positive. There are two pools, one kids pool and one adults pool but both are pretty small. The most disappointing part of this holiday by far was the food. Breakfast time was 7-9:30am but there nothing to wake up for and we only bothered going down on our first day and then the last day ahead of a full day of travel. There was no continental breakfast (pastries, pancakes etc) only cake and biscuits. You couldn't create a cooked breakfast if you tried! Lunch was 12-2pm and dinner was 7-9pm. Both meals were equally as poor. Plenty of salad (however the salad would consist of leftovers at breakfast turned into 'chef's salad'), one meat dish, a fish dish and then spaghetti/pasta with a sauce. This was the same for both meals everyday! The meat looked as though it had been reheated a few times and sometimes you couldn't even stick a fork in it was so hard. Dessert was ice cream, nothing more and nothing less, despite the fancy pictures on Facebook of fresh cakes and desserts (must have been pinched from Google). It was so bland, poor and repetitive that we went out to a local restaurant a couple of times to enjoy some Greek food. There wasn't much for kids, the food was rubbish and the entertainment was even worse. No disco, no kids club. The weeks entertainment consisted of one man with a guitar, a clown and some Greek dancing all while the all inclusive drink stopped at 10. We witnessed two families leave their holiday early and return home because there was nothing there to enjoy and the kids wanted to go home. This isn't a holiday for families, you can barely make it work as a couple (even then we had numerous talks about leaving early). I wouldn't return to this hotel if we were paid to visit and i definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for an all inclusive holiday!

The only advantage of this hotel is its location. Room service throughout our stay (12 days) did not even sweep the floor in the room not to mention washing it as well as the mirrors, towels changed every three days. The rooms have nothing to do with those posted on the pages in all available sources. The mats on the sunbeds which are in questionable condition are in dirty and not changed, the tables at them also dirty not wiped by the staff stand all the time dirty and off the floor. Moving on to the issue of the pool, I leave the picture, which does not require much comment. As for the food there is very little choice, every day the same thing changes single dishes. All inclusive, which is not all inclusive, only soft drinks and beer and wine are available on the bar.

We are still holidaying at sun beach, this hotel has a lovely seafront location, in a small town with a couple of shops. No too far from a couple of nice towns on the bus/taxi. However? This hotels ‘all inclusive’ food is absolutely diabolical. There’s no words to explain how bad the food is here. Freezing cold, often uncooked food with minimal variation. We are not that fussy and will happily have chips for a few nights but they didn’t even have any chips at meal times. All inclusive usually means meals, drinks and snacks. There are no snacks at all on throughout the day, meals are disgusting, no fruit at breakfast, only desserts at dinner are either jelly cubes, melon or oranges, alternated. Only drinks available on all inclusive are beer, wine and what they call soft drinks. The coke and lemonade is disgusting, sickly sweet and completely flat, just a cup of liquid sugar. No spirits at all are included. This hotel to me is not all inclusive and due to the standard of food, is as a couple have spent £1000 on food and drink out of the hotel, on an all inclusive holiday as we just can’t face being here. This hotel would be good as room only or at a push bed and breakfast, but definitely not all inclusive. It’s no surprise the hotel is not on any of the big travel agents like TUI or Thomas cook, it’s is not worth of their all inclusive status at all. Such a shame, with a bit of a food and drinks make over they could be a really good hotel, and make a lot more money through higher rates.
Personally, I will not be recommending or returning to this hotel.

We come to Lardos every year and keen to stay at this hotel as it’s located directly on Lardos beach. It’s a typical 3* Greek hotel. Lovely staff, cleaners were brilliant and location is brilliant. I’m glad we took a chance and stayed. The all inclusive package is sold as ‘light’ and it means you get 3 meals, local beer, wine, juice, and local spirits. It suited us perfectly. The food is fine, lots of fresh salads, bread and some interesting variations of meat. Normally we eat out despite being all inclusive as we like the local restaurants. So as the price was so cheap it suited us. The room was a bit dated (210) but it was a family room and huge. The beds had new mattresses and was fine for us. Little terrace with a washing line was a nice touch. The room was cleaned every day and the whole hotel is very clean. The staff work hard and the communal gardens and all public areas are immaculate. They work long hours and it shows as it’s one of the loveliest hotels we have had the pleasure of staying. Would I recommend? Yes. It’s Greek and it doesn’t pretend to be 5* and the prices are excellent. We were the only uk couple in the hotel it’s mostly polish, Czech and Greek. We loved it.

The rooms were decent, even tho it was visible that it was built fast and not professional. The cleaning ladies changed our bed sheets once in 7 days and they saw there was a stain on one side. They just fixed it but did not change it. Towels changed also 1 time in 7 days when we threw them all on the flor. The towel for the feet was wet every day as the walk-in shower is built badly so it was always wet. They just put it wet to dry and did not bother to change it every day. The food is bad even for a 3* hotel. Choices limited and if you come in Greece the first time and expect local food you will be on the wrong place. They had one night Greek night with local food, but it did not taste good. Breakfast - the eggs were the worst ever in our life. Cheese and ham super cheap and tasted like plastic. Coffee machines almost every day one was broken. The glasses and plates not added on time, food not refilled on time. Staff decent but not really in a hurry to help or clean the tables when someone left. Drinks served in plastic small cups even if you sit at the tables next to the bar. No animation/activities even for kids. We had 3 nights with events (guitar night, fire show and Greek night). The only highlight is the beach and that it is close to the rooms which is the reason we give 2*. The people who rate it as a 5* are fake and bought or never visited semi-decent hotels. If you can avoid the hotel and book something better with 4 stars. The staff overall was with no smile and even their dress code was not the same. Had the feeling they took random people from the street and gave them to work there i what ever clothes they have and work as they know.

Lovely Hotel just outside Lardos on the beachfront.

All inclusive - the food was decent for what we paid, some good variation. There are a handful of bars / restaurants close by if you fancy a change. The Bar all inclusive is limited to soft drinks, beer and wine. The cocktails spirits etc cost extra but they were brilliant.

Room was nice enough, the towels weren't changed every day though but dried in the balcony soon enough, and I'm sure they'd hand fresh towels if you asked as the staff were all really friendly.

Location was brilliant, always plenty sun loungers etc and the beach was beautiful! Water sports on your doorstep, would recommend the pedalo for an hour at 25 euro .

The staff were amazing, super friendly and went out their way to help with anything. Special mention to the lady who ran the shop on site, really friendly and sold most things you'd need. Also, Tony who worked at the bar at evening times was tremendous!! Great lad and was always accomadating friendly and helped us with any questions we had.

We'd definitely go back, for the price it's worth it, and make the most of it! It's a beautiful island !!

Very nice and friendly beach hotel, with super clean beach, ideal for families with children. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. It is really close to Lindos, around 5mimutes by car. It is highly recommended for families with children to relax and the package was value for money!
