This is a beautiful hotel and very clean. The rooms are spacious and modern. They provide a hairdryer, Iron and ironing board. We stayed half board and there is so much delicious food on offer we did not need to eat during the day. The Wi-fi seems to have been fixed so no problems there. The staff are very friendly and all speak English. If there are any problems they are there within seconds and are very helpful. The beach is on your doorstep and is lined with many restaurants if you feel the need to eat out. I cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough. I would definately stay there again and recommend to all.
Stylish new hotel, spacious comfortable room with nice balcony, large bathroom. All rooms set around the pool. Good choice of breakfast and pool area or restaurant to eat in. All staff very friendly and helpful.
Could not fault this hotel. Booked the holiday break the hotel was actually built but well lived up to the artists impression. We had s mezzanine room overlooking the pool with beautiful sea view. Hotel spotlessly clean and staff could not be faulted for their tireless efforts throughout the day. We went B & B but you can have dinner at hotel for 17E - buffet starter/main course and dessert. Pool/beach towels available free of charge at reception. Can easily catch bus down the road to other location including Chania (well worth a visit) at 23.50E return. Last bus back at 9.00 pm takes about 40 mins. Advised to turn up early for both outward and return journeys as buses operate using GMT (Greek Maybe Time!). Wonderful holiday
Having just come back from the Aloe Boutique, I thought I would look back to what other members had put as their reviews to make a comparison as to likes and dislikes. First off dislikes we had booked a duplex executive junior suite and as other members have stated, the walls are very thin enabling us to hear the loud snoring from our neighbours. There is definitely not enough storage, one small wardrobe with shelving, but no drawers. The bedroom area just about fitted two single beds, one bedside table and a small round occasional table (I know you don't always need a huge amount of space, but this was small). The air conditioning unit is situated quite high up on the wall and had a remote control, but due to the ceiling height in the room I was forever turning it up and down to try and get it to an adequate temperature. There was no kettle in the room (but then again we didn't ask for it). The bathroom was located at the end of the lounge area and unfortunately there were no windows so steamed up unless you left the door open, plus every so often you got an over-riding smell from the shower drain which wasn't pleasant. Unfortunately, when the maid came to change the bedding over on the 4th day, my lovely grey and white pyjamas disappeared and I can only presume ended up going to the laundry along with the white sheets and grey cover. I did report them missing, but nothing showed up by the end of my holiday hence title of my review. As for likes there was a good range of food for breakfast (investment in a toast machine would be more practical, rather than guests queuing to use a 4 slice toaster when only 2 slots worked). Slightly disappointed with the orange juice, as this tasted very watered down, but had other juices and drinks available. Pool area was kept very clean and staff were on hand for drinks and food and service was very good. Sun loungers were very comfortable, but there only appeared to be about 6 of them you could actually lie on all day if you wished to take full advantage of the sun, without being in partial shade or full shade. I know this hotel only opened this year and I would like to think some of these issues could be addressed so I may have been harsh, as it is a lovely little village and is definitely suited to people looking to get away for a quiet escape with the exception of some road noise and pool bar music. Hotel is very clean and modern and I couldn't fault the staff on their service and hospitality, as another member stated in their review the infrastructure around the hotel needs investment i.e roads and parking, otherwise its a lovely hotel situated in a prime location.
Fantastic 2 week stay at this lovely Hotel, the architect did an amazing job, making the whole area bright, comfortable and spacious. The top marks however go to the staff. All friendly with welcoming smiles and really really helpful. Special mention to the fantastic barman Massias who was really professional and knew what drinks I would enjoy better than myself! Also receptionist and one of the managers who helped sort out our transfer problems and drove us to meet our coach which should have picked us up from the hotel. Thanks again to all the staff for making our stay one to remember.
