Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My sister and I stayed 3 nights and couldn't have asked for better. We had one separate queen bedroom and a single bed in lounge, which was the main reason we picked Pukekohe Motel as I snore and needed a separate bedroom. Comfy beds and pillows. Everything was really modern and well maintained. Great bathroom with large shower. Tvs with sky in bedroom and lounge. Full kitchen with oven and hobs etc. There is a new supermarket across the road and bus stop right outside. Plenty of parking. Staff very friendly and helpful.

our stay at the pukekohe motel was good, the staff at the motel were so helpful and accommodating and it is a tribute to them as they definitely went the extra distance to make our stay possible. The rooms were clean and well presented - thank you so much

Unit # 6 - 1 x Night We enjoyed our 1st stay here very much. We would Return. We were greeted by a very Friendly Staff member. Room was Clean, Modern, Fresh and Safe. Our Sleep was excellent. The only fault was there was NO Spare Power Outlets in the Bedroom. We had to unplug the TV which was situated 2.0 Metres up the wall. There were NO Power Outlets by the Bedside for our 4 x Mobile devices :(

We stayed on two separate occasions, one for 4 nights for the 2019 ITM Supercars Supersprint in a fully self-contained unit and the other for 1 night in a studio unit a few weeks later. On both occasions we found the lady at reception to be very friendly and the rooms were both very clean, good beds, well appointed and good value for money. Location is pretty good and there is a shop on site that sells your basic food and kitchen/bathroom staples. The fully self-contained unit was excellent and recently renovated. It had a separate bedroom which had no traffic noise at all as these rooms are at the back of the complex away from the road. Very comfortable with lounge and dining table. The other night was in a 2nd storey studio unit at the front of the complex. it was not as new or as big, but still very comfortable. Being closer to the road there is minimal road noise at night but it wouldn't keep you awake. Would recommend this Motel for both an extended stay in the self-contained unit and the studio unit for a night or two.

Happy to say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this accommodation. Large bed room, 2 TV’s, micro wave, fridge and oven complimented by tea and coffee making facilities and a good shower. A recent refresh and high house keeping standards made for an enjoyable stay.

The proprietor was friendly and accomodating. The room was very clean, warm and well appointed. The location was good with a short walk to Pukekohe centre of town. A dairy was adjacent to the motel. Would recommend staying.

I stayed at this motel in February 2018 for 2 nights. I booked a one bedroom self-contained unit. I found the staff very friendly. The unit was very clean and serviced well. In addition the price was very reasonable. There is a convenience store "Dairy" adjacent to the motel and a hotel with restaurant is across the road. I found the room very quiet at night. There is some building work going on at present to extend the motel. The builders do not work on weekends or public holidays so, unless you want to sleep in later than 9:00am on weekdays, this work should cause no problems. I would certainly stay there again.

I cancelled a booking back in December because proprietor over booked rooms she didn't even have. Their understanding of the English language is minimum so extremely difficult to get the message across that we were not happy with their incompetence. THEN she charged me $450 on our credit card as a no show even after explaining that we had cancelled back in December. Would not recommend anyone staying here.

Upstairs studio room was very clean, comfortable and spacious for family of four with additional fold-up bed. Good location, friendly staff and reasonable price. Have no hesitation in recommending and look forward to staying again in the future.

I was checked in by friendly staff and stayed in an upstairs studio unit that had a queen and a single bed and was the furthest in that row from the main road. The unit was clean and comfortable,(except for the kitchen blind which had some mould spots), comfortable bed, heat pump, and good kitchen which included a double gas hob.I had 2 good nights sleep, although the traffic was quite noisy on the third night possibly because it was a Saturday and I'm glad I was not put in the unit next to the busy Paerata Road which I imagine would have been very noisy.I would definitely stay there again.
