Everything was really modern and well maintained. Great bathroom with large shower.
Tvs with sky in bedroom and lounge.
Full kitchen with oven and hobs etc. There is a new supermarket across the road and bus stop right outside.
Plenty of parking.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
HOWEVER
My partner got violently ill in the middle of the night so I had to call an ambulance, after a long, stressful night I was then told by the owner I had to pay $60 for damages to a towel I had used to clean his vomit
$60 for 1 towel?!
After I spoke with the owner who was quite rude to me our room was then inspected for any further 'damages' by a member of staff
The member of staff was lovely about the whole thing and in the end we were charged $30
Absolutely ridiculous! Especially when there is an on site laundry with a $10 fee for washing..
Overall a good place to stay, just don't get sick there it will cost you!
We enjoyed our 1st stay here very much. We would Return.
We were greeted by a very Friendly Staff member.
Room was Clean, Modern, Fresh and Safe.
Our Sleep was excellent.
The only fault was there was NO Spare Power Outlets in the Bedroom.
We had to unplug the TV which was situated 2.0 Metres up the wall.
There were NO Power Outlets by the Bedside for our 4 x Mobile devices :(
The fully self-contained unit was excellent and recently renovated. It had a separate bedroom which had no traffic noise at all as these rooms are at the back of the complex away from the road. Very comfortable with lounge and dining table.
The other night was in a 2nd storey studio unit at the front of the complex. it was not as new or as big, but still very comfortable. Being closer to the road there is minimal road noise at night but it wouldn't keep you awake.
Would recommend this Motel for both an extended stay in the self-contained unit and the studio unit for a night or two.
"The one bedroom suite is further from the road and has a double bed and 2 single beds."Read full review
"I would not recommend units close to Paerata Road as it's busy and therefore noisy."Read full review
"If you're travelling with a family - whether with younger or adult children - the family unit is great."Read full review
