We stayed here for a few nights after landing in Auckland from the US. The host couple - Judy and Barney - couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The place is new and gorgeous. Tastefully decorated. Delicious breakfasts. Very clean. Beautiful yard and gardens. The town is less than a 10 minute drive, and has some lovely little restaurants. My only con is that there is no air conditioning. We arrived on a warm day and the only way to cool the room was to open all windows, outside doors and door to our room. This, of course, lets many flies in, which don't leave when it cools down. Otherwise a perfect stay! With the no air con reservation, I"d recommend this stay and experience.

I was lucky enough to stay with Judy and Barney for 3 nights for work and I will be requesting to stay here for the future. No request is too big or small for them and from the moment the gates open at the driveway you feel like you have hit the relaxation and luxury jackpot.
Plenty of nooks to hideaway in with a hood book, and the garden spreads as far as the eye can see (right to the sky tower might I add).

Couldn't fault one thing about my stay and cannot wait to come back

We stayed at Casa Collina for one night after arriving on a flight from California. The location is very convenient, a mere 30 minute drive from Auckland Airport. Judy’s place is just lovely! The home is surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The crepe myrtles were blossoming in a riot of pink and purple. Judy welcomed us and provided a bottle of Sauvignon blanc, which we enjoyed on the porch overlooking a green, pastoral countryside. The living area is spacious and well appointed.
We stayed in the Moroccan Room. Our bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows. We slept with the sliding glass doors open to the garden and woke to the music of countless birdsongs in the morning.
The bathroom is spacious and Judy provides lovely shampoo and soap products.
Breakfast was delightful. Judy prepared hearty plates of bacon and fried eggs. The grain bread toast was spectacular.
We had plenty of entertaining conversations with Judy and Berty and shared much laughter.
This is a really lovely bed and breakfast and we would most happily return to it and recommend it to friends and family.
We have a few suggestions to improve the experience: a)to provide luggage racks so you don’t have to place your luggage on the floor and bend down to reach things; b) to provide a side table where you can place essential stuff. Currently there is no adequate table surface to put your keys, phones, chargers, purse and other important things, and c) the nightstands are small, crowded with a lamp so there is no space for a glass of water or a book, and too low for the height of the bed. Larger and taller nightstands would be very nice.
Judy, we thank you for a lovely stay. Cheers!
