This is such a special, magical place! Beautiful bungalows, a very beautiful garden. The owners are the most friendly, lovely people you have ever met. The food is gorgeous, you will not go out to eat anymore once you have tasted it! It's very close to Chiang Mai and easy to get there by bus and by scooter, but also you will experience the real Thailand when you are there. Nice for couples but also ideal for families. I can say with whole my heart: you will love this place!

We cannot say enough good things about Secret Garden Chiang Mai! Our family of 5 stayed for 5 nights and loved everything about it. We arrived early in the morning on the overnight train from Bangkok and Isabel arranged to pick us up from the station. Not only was breakfast waiting when we arrived, but we were also able to check into our bungalow, which was much appreciated after a long night of travelling. Our kids loved this place from the moment they had their first bite of breakfast! They could not wait to wake up and eat every morning, it was that good! The dinners were also so delicious, we ended up eating at the hotel for thee evenings. The atmosphere was so relaxing and the kids loved being able to explore the property on their own. Isabel helped us plan our excursions and transportation in and around Chiang Mai, which made for very easy travelling. She checked in with us by text message while we were out each day to see if we needed any help with transportation. Amazing! This hotel is located outside of Chiang Mai and it takes a bit of effort to get into town, but I think this hotel is ideal for people planning to explore the area over five or more days, while enjoying some downtime at the Secret Garden in between excursions. This hotel would be especially suited to families with kids who want to enjoy the spacious bungalows and grounds and escape the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. There were many families staying at the hotel when we were there and they all looked very relaxed despite travelling with small kids. A special place in our heart is reserved for the people at Secret Garden. A perfect place to relax and unwind during the umbrella festival in Bosan. Pai is a superb cook and we enjoyed a lovely dinner each night. The accommodation is spacious well kept and clean in a wonderful garden. You can go to town on the bicycle. Their warm hospitality made us feel very much at home. Well worth a visit !

We stayed for only 3 nights, but wish it was longer. The minute we stepped on the property, we felt taken care of. There was lots of wide open spaces and a very peaceful environment. Though it is outside the hustle and bustle of old town Chiang Mai, the owners are more than happy to get you there if you’d like. And the food! Most amazing hotel food we”be had. The breakfasts were unreal (fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, veggies, yogurt) and the dinner (which costs about $6 USD per adult were incredible. Tasty, fresh, healthy. The owners really go out of their way to take care of the visitors and it really shows. We highly recommend.

We have just come home from a week in Chiang Mai at Secret Garden and could not say enough good things about it! We visited with three other families all staying together at Secret Garden. Such a gem of a place with exceptional owners. Isabel could not have been more helpful in arranging drivers, helping us plan, making recommendations, being available to us when we needed her, just an all around blessing to our families! The location is beautiful and tucked away so that you feel like you are really experiencing the culture. Breakfast and Dinner options at the Secret Garden were exceptionally priced and delicious. We are so happy with our stay here!

We visited secret garden chiang mai in the month of april 2019.Isabel and family went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one.Be it arranging vegetarian food for us,planning our itinerary for a day trip,arranging transport for sight seeing,pick up and drop from the airport..everything was spot on.As we were not familiar with the local language Isabel was constantly in touch with us to make sure that the driver took us to all the places we wanted to see.Not only this...they also offered their kitchen so that we could prepare our meals.We also relished the delectable vegetarian thai delecacies made by pie specially customised for us. Thank you is too small a word to express our gratitude for their amazing hospitality. So if anyone is planning a trip to chiang mai,wants the comfort of a home away from home and wants to enjoy the beauty of nature...a stay at secret garden is a must. We were a family of 3 along with our 4 year old visiting Chiang Mai for the first time. We came here to relax and celebrate my husbands birthday. Pai and Isabelle went out of their way to make our time feel very special and even got us a cake. The property is family owned and is extremely beautiful and quiet. Our son loved greeting Lily, their dog, on the way to breakfast. We stayed for dinner one night where Pai cooked a delicious home cooked meal. It was one of the best Thai meals we had on our trip. We also loved the complimentary ride from the airport and back. Thank you Pai and Isabelle for an unforgettable and special stay!

I visited Secret Garden with my husband and our friends in March 2018. I cannot recommend Secret Garden enough - we cannot wait to go back! The gardens are beautiful and lush, and it is perfectly peaceful. Peter, Pai and Isabelle were the most wonderful hosts and made our stay an absolute joy. Pai is an amazing cook and her meals were my favourite of our whole trip! Isabel and Peter were so helpful in arranging pick ups from the airport and with so much advice during our stay - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much to the whole family for making our stay so fantastic, we can’t wait to come back!

What can i say. Stay here! Beautiful place in gorgeous surroundings. A little piece of paradise. Everything you could want and more. We didn't plan on relaxing much but it's so tranquil we don't want to go anywhere. The staff can't do enough for us. We're vegan and they really have bent over backwards. Free transport from the airport, free bike hire. Breakfast and evening meals! This place is amazing!
