Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed Tuesday to Thursday, 3 nights, end of June. Only guests.

It’s a big building. Rescued from ruin by Joan and, originally his dad, and now his wife, Eva.

Rooms are large and well equipped. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms smart.

There’s a lift as well as the stairs. Parking is problematic. Disabled access isn’t the best, but I’m ambulant with sticks.

Bathrooms have no grab rails or bars. I raised this, Eva very receptive.

Buffet breakfast was good. Lots of tourist information. Both Eva and Joan were friendly and speak good English.

We had three nice days.

Only reason not 5* is that air con wasn’t working and we stayed during a heatwave.

Very nice small family run hotel.Spacious clean room with a mountain view. Nice outside places to sit too. We stayed 6 nights early October- wonderful weather and very few tourists- and with the help of Eva made wonderful day trips in the beautiful parks, mountains and villages in the area .She gave us many helpfull tips. Juan her husband and the restaurant Chef prepares tasty meals in the Chic restaurant. Breakfast is quite good- the same every day. There is a small spa for extra charge but we didn"t use it. Highly recommended cosy and comfortable hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights while we visited Saint Maurici National Park in August 2016. The location is quiet and peaceful. It takes about 5 min. by car to Sort where you will find more shops and restaurants. The Hotel's building & decor is charming and the owner is very friendly. The breakfast was good, there was bread, pastries, cerials, salami, ham, buiscuits, fruits,tea/coffee. The best thing for me was a squeeze-it-yourself orange juice. It can't get any fresher than that! Our room had a terrace which over looks the patio. We sat in the terrace in the early morning and late in the evening (it gets very hot in the sun!) which was very relaxing. Our room also had a little kitchen & fridge though we never cooked anything. I recommend this place for family and couples who would like to stay in a peaceful area away from city noise.

Both the surroundings, the hotel and the owners are very charming.

We have had a nice weekend.

Also try the restaurant driven by the owner.
Breakfast also charming, and the spa closes for you if you want to.

We enjoyed our Honeymoon there in September of 2011. We can not say enough great things about the food, the owners, and the relaxed atmosphere. One of the best parts of our visit to Spain. After a day of hiking the 4 Star Dinner and wine choices were excellent. The couple went out of there way to make our visit special. Absolutely the best overall accommodations of visit!
