This place is terrific. Either for it’s position or for room facilities. We stayed 11 days and we were so sad to leave the place! The hosts are very helpful kind and try to make your stay very confortable. We really enjoyed our talks with Giancarlo, Sophia and Deborah❤️. Breakfast is very furnished and Sophia is always willing to listen if you need something. The day we left Giancarlo prepared bottles of water so we could have enough for the road and the girls. We had a great appartement with two rooms a living room and kitchen. The pool is perfect for families with kids ( there is a part not deep for kids), every day we passed the mornings by the pool and the afternoon visiting ( very central location max 1h from all the places to see .. Firenze, Siena, Cortona, Arrezzo and more ..). The host give you a lot of advises for places to visit. Definitely I recommend this place.

I had the best stay at Villa Cassia. The setting is idyllic; beautiful gardens, pool, and clean rooms make you feel right at home. Giancarlo and Sofie’s hospitality is amazing; they are so kind, and as a solo traveler made me feel comfortable and went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my stay / could get around town etc.. The food is also incredible with a great breakfast with many assorted items to choose from and delicious lunch / dinner as well. I will stay here again and again!

We have just returned from 10 days in the beautiful villa. Nice spacious room with lots of comfort and clean. Sofia and Giancarlo are super nice and helpful. Delicious breakfasts every day with fresh fruit, cake and croissants, eggs to order. Very complete. We also had a nice dinner and wine in the beautiful garden. The pool was lovely. The first few days there was hardly anyone and we had the pool to ourselves. It felt very homely. We will definitely go back!

We stayed at this hotel in early August. We chose it to retrace the footsteps of the film The Cyclone.
Location: The Hotel is in fact an aparthotel with several mini apartments equipped with the necessary to be able to sleep but also eat and relax on the sofa watching TV. It is along a moderately busy but still quiet road, nestled in the Arezzo hills.
Room: we had the room "fresh natural". Despite the scorching heat however with the fans it was fine. We would have liked a little more brightness.
Pool: beautiful and not crowded with people (a few horseradish too). The only flaw (quite serious) the failure to report that at some point the pool is 2.50 meters deep, there being no reports and having the child in my arms I had some difficulty resurfacing.
Breakfast: very nice breakfast location, good products, poor offer for a celiac customer (despite being aware of the thing). On this point there are various houses that make excellent baked goods such as sandwiches and frozen croissants (to reduce waste) that would enrich the offer.
Staff: courteous.

To improve the management in case a guest loses a key (luckily later I found it). I was expected to have to wait over an hour for someone to come and retrieve the second key with a charge of 50 €. From a Hotel to this type I would have expected a more timely intervention and the cost related only to the redo of the key.

We stayed 4 nights in this place.....when you arrive it seems a bit anonymous but inside it is very nice and well-kept.
We had a beautiful room with kitchenette and bed in the attic plus a large and comfortable terrace where to eat and see splendid sunsets.
Sofia is an excellent all-rounder always calm and kind
The clean swimming pool....the good restaurant...normal breakfast....
Affordable prices in August.... I highly recommend it

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 2 nights. Room was a duplex, very clean and comfortable with great air con. Sophie & Giancarlo couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was good. We had dinner twice in the lovely gardens. Food was fine and garden environment wonderful. We would definitely return.

The place is lovely. We so enjoyed our room with kitchen facilities. The grounds and pool are beautiful.
We will have to return when it is not raining to fully enjoy.
We had dinner twice. The food was very good.
Most importantly, Sophia and Giancarlo could not have been more special. My husband was sick, and they were so caring and helpful and warm. We are so glad we made the house to stay here.

We stayed 5 days at Villa Cassia with a friend. Tha villa is very well kept, clean, not too many rooms, nice swimming pool, garden.

More than a holiday it has been one week of utter spoil that it will be difficult What striked me was the fact that nothing from the staff was an effort. I was working remotely so I was in the villa durinf yhe dau and in all the beautiful places i have been I never had that whilst i was swimming Lorenzo the gardener asking me if I wsnted a coffee at 8am. And i was served it whil I was in the pool. Giancarlo, the owner,

We stayed at the Villa Cassia di Baccano last month and loved it very much; it was our favorite during our trip in Italy.

The big red Villa is rather new, just opened in June 2004. It has 13 apartments, the one we got was quite spacious and had 2 floors. The living room was on the lower floor, as well as the entrance and access to a big balcony; the bedroom and the bathroom were located upstairs. We had a huge private balcony with gorgeous view of the area. We enjoyed looking at the sunset from the balcony.

The bed was very comfortable with large pillows. The bathroom would be better if it's a little bigger. We liked the design at the villa; it was modern but they also kept some parts/design of the original building.

The staff at the villa were the nicest people we met in Italy! They were extremely friendly and were eager to assist us in getting around / choosing restaurants.

The breakfast was very yummy, with croissant, bread, good yogurt, cereal, cold cuts, juice, milk, coffee/tea. Everyday we enjoyed our breakfast very much.

The villa also has a swimming pool, but we didn't get to try it out as it was a bit chilly when we were there.

Driving in Italy isn't as easy as the US, but after a while, you'll get used to looking for the right signs for your destination. We did spend about 20 min looking for the villa after we got to the area, but it was because we misinterpreted the directions. The villa is about an hour's drive from Florence and 1.5 hrs from Siena.

I would say you really need a car, most of the lovely places to visit are a car journey away, unless you just want to stay by their pool and use the bikes.
