Lovely updated room with everything you need. Bed was comfortable, shower was great, heat pump was on when I arrived which made it lovely and welcoming. The kitchen has everything you need and more. Would make a perfect base for exploring the Nelson Tasman area.

Group of 3 friends walking the Abel Tasman, we needed accommodation before and after the walk. The accommodation (family apartment) was great as we were all able to each have our own space (2 bedrooms and a bed in the living area). Beds were comfortable, separate toilet and shower We had a patio area which had a view over a field and hills in the distance. Tea, coffee and a sachet of plunger coffee provided. The owners were very friendly and helpful, holding a bag for us during the walk and helping with disposal of cooking gas cannisters which we were unable to take on our return flight.

This was a pleasant surprise - when we saw that the units were at the back of the house we mistakenly thought "oh no", what have we booked here? But..... as soon as we opened the door into the unit we knew we judged wrong. It was super clean, set out to please and for relaxation, great size for our short stay and the nice touches of chocolate, flowers and folded towels on each bed finished off our surprise. The bathroom was a good size with all you needed. No shampoo but that's okay because i always bring my own. The shower is not the hottest. We didn't really use the kitchen other than for coffee so can't comment there except to say it was a good size and well laid out, with all you needed for a short stay. The bed was super comfy and warm (didn't want to get out of it). Good to have a suitcase table plus a shelf in the wardrobe to put the second suitcase. We had an outside table with chairs, plus there was a bbq table and washing line nearby (which we didn't use). Free car park up the driveway. Booking said mountain view but we didn't see that. Friendly owner was an added plus. Thank you for the stay! Would definitely come again.
