Relaxing and beautiful lodge. Gorgeous spot to unwind and relax in. Wake up to soft sheets and a wonderful view. Great service from the two hosts who make you feel very looked after. Wonderful two course breakfast, close to many lovely walks and every inch sustainable.

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and it were the best nights we had by far. My son and me are currently visiting the north of the North Island and we stayed at many different places throughout our journey, but the Kokohuia Lodge is by far the best experience we made. Suzanne and Steve are two wonderful and...

We managed to grab a last minute cancellation at Kokohuia and it was amazing. The mix of luxury, great food, stunning views and tranquility were everything we wanted and more. Highly recommended. We could have done with a few extra nights. The breakfasts were lovely as was the fruit platter. Details such as linen, music, beautiful bath, and artwork all...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and kind review. We are really pleased that you squeezed into that wee gap in our diary for your 'Babymoon' and that you had such a lovely time here. We were very impressed by the pre-breakfast paddle boarding! All the best.

New Zealand has a lot of wonderful landscape. However, the view from the Kokohuia Logde over the Hokianga Harbour was one of our favourites. The Logde is a wonderful place to be. Everything is excellent. The hosts Steve and Suzane are very friendly and they made our stay as comfortable as possible. I can recommend the dinner at the Logde...

Can't recommend this place enough! Amazing location, luxurious, friendly hosts and they thought of everything! Have already got relatives and friends looking at when they are able to come stay ☺. Binoculars were a stroke of genius! Partner loved sitting on the deck and gazing through them

We had 2 days at the lodge and loved every minute. The view is so good that you won't want to stir from the balcony. The lodge is provided with everything needed for a relaxed stay and Steve and Suzanne provide a perfect balance between helpful and friendly advice and suggestions, and all the space and peace you could wish...

With its views over Hokianga Harbour from high above Omapere this location is unsurpassed. It is a little off the main road but easy to find. The room is spacious with an outside deck and a sitting area on a lower level inside. Huge windows give a 180 degree view over towards the sand dunes on the other side of...
