Friendly staff, amazing scenery, perfect getaway! Affordable luxury. A great place to just get lost in its natural beauty. Booked a three villa for the family and we all had an enjoyable stay! Despite the new normal that we live in, Sinalei really made it feel normal again!
I’m so glad I booked Sinalei; it’s very traditional, quiet and peaceful. I’m areal island girl so I loved the mix of the pool and the beach. The setting is gorgeous. It was great to have the option of switching up your dinner from the main restaurant to the beachfront one which opens randomly. The food is fantadtic and pod value. The staff are friendly although often get lost in translation! We started in a traditional garden villa and were grateful for an upgrade to the ocean villa with an inside bathroom with hot water and way more space. Our safe didn’t work and was removed but not replaced but it’s very safe here. Bonus was no kids under 12. Disappointment was no fresh coconuts - this irks me the most on an island surrounded by coconuts. The Sheraton had them as did the Seabreeze resort.…
We would recommend this as a place to stay in Samoa, the staff were very friendly and efficient, the resort itself idyllic. Even in the middle of the measles epidemic we still had a wonderful holiday, the resort even offered to arrange a vaccination if we required it.
Though we were staying another resort just down the road, we came in for some dinner. The special was "Surf'n'Turf" but Samoan style .... Prime Rib Eye and Lobster. The entire family had this and no one was disappointed. Great location, excellent service and pretty good value for money.
Great experience. wonderful sights and good service provided by staff and management. Friendly staff. luxurious facilities with good prizes. Rooms were tremendous its like you never left home when staying at Sinalei Resort.
kinhcuonglucap.com realized that this place is very beautiful and dreaming. Blue sea with white sand. It has a lot of delicious food and a lot of things to experience. It is interesting to travel with family and relatives here
Sinalei's location cannot be beat. They have a gorgeous, quiet beach - amazing clear blue water perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and water activities. They are an hours drive from the airport, 30min from Apia, and about 45-50min from the To Sua trench & many other attractions. We hired a scooter one day, and a car another. It was brilliant! Their staff is the best. So accommodating, friendly, and kind. Nothing is too much and everyone is very laid back. Gorgeous people all around! Their facilities are fantastic. The rooms are top notch - the beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable, well kept furnishings, and air conditioned. We very much enjoyed the pool, bar, restaurant, tennis court, beachfront area and snorkel hire! There is no longer a gym, which was disappointing, but if you're hard up for weights then apia is not far away. Otherwise we went for swimming and running. The food was fantastic! Most of our meals were absolutely delicious, with few exceptions. After 5 nights we felt ready to branch out a bit, but then they had a BBQ night and I'm so glad we stayed because I was blown away by the flavor of the bbq'd tuna! So yum! My husband and I both got massages... His was ok and to be honest mine was pretty bad. (I do not think this is indicative of the spa - just perhaps the masseuse. Just be clear about what you want.) There are plenty of other spa services I did not try. The drinks were normal samoa prices - not cheap - but that was to be expected, and on par with the rest of the country. They were delicious too! Must try all the coconut cocktails, especially the mojito! Thank you so much sinalei for a memorable and rejuvenating stay!!…
We had such a perfect stay. We originally booked for 3 nights but ended up extending to 7! We wanted to spend all of our remaining time there. The property is gorgeous. So well maintained. Bluest and clearest water we have ever seen. Swam with/kayaked with sea turtles almost every day. Free kayaks/snorkel gear/paddle boards to use. Free tennis! And golf for a small fee. Rooms are spacious and feel quite private. Kettle. Tea/coffee supplies. Fridge. Bug repellent. All shower toiletries provided. Fresh towels every day. They spray the rooms for bugs every evening (lots of mosquitoes in Samoa!) But thankfully, very few in our room. Staff were impeccable. You are always greeted with gorgeous smiles. You feel genuinely well taken care of. Breakfast was great. Buffet style. Always some sort of Samoan traditional brekky item but always toasts with fixings.. cereal.. fresh fruit and yogurt. Fresh coconuts! We looked forward to breakfast! Overall, Sinalei made our Samoa experience exactly what we were hoping for. Come here and see for yourself!! …
Just heavenly, everything about this place was bliss. The people of Samoa know how to make you feel welcome and happy. Sinalei is a perfect resort for a couples retreat. Did not want to leave, I cried all the way back to the airport!
The main feature of this resort is the helpfulness of the staff. Violetta who serviced our room was outstanding as were security staff who fetched umbrellas to get us back to our room when the weather changed. Some of the trainee staff in the restaurant could had closer supervision and training but this was more than made up by the superb Sinalei strings group who were great to listen to . We also attended a cultural evening that was different than the usual slick , slightly artificial, presentation with the same jokes and presentation that has been used for the last few years. The cultural evening we attended was presented by a local church group seeking to raise funds for youth development and was watched by their chiefs and dignitaries. It was delivered with passion and sincerity and quite outstanding, rather like the difference between a Maori culture night for tourists in Rotorua and a performance by an East coast Kapa haka group for their Iwi . If you get a chance to see one of these performances you should make the most of it , and make sure you have cash in your pocket to contribute.…
