We have just returned from a very relaxing holiday here. Everything is spotlessly clean. The grounds are well maintained. There is a wide choice of food at the hotel bar, and everyone is friendly and helpful. Bed chairs are always available, or you can hire a four poster for 10 euros per day. You need to bring your own pool towels. There is a wide choice of tavernas within easy reach, most of which overlook the beach. Our favourite was Delicious, which lives up to it's name. If you don't fancy walking home after your meal down an unlit road , the tavernas will book a taxi for you, which charges 7 euros. The bar at the studios is open from 8.30 till 9.00 p.m. Tip: the bed chairs are hosed clean first thing in the morning , but are usually dried by the sun by about 9.30. Beds and bed chairs are very comfy. Like all Greek premises, there are several very friendly cats.

We stayed for two weeks in August. We were very impressed overall with this accommodation. The Room we had was fine - good size, nice balcony on the first floor. Electric shutter in the room - very useful - particularly in keeping the room dark in the early morning. Good size bathroom, with a full sized bath and decent shower. We liked the kitchenette being tucked away behind folding doors. Very clean and cleaned everyday. A good sized pool - never really that busy in the pool - despite there often being quite a few guests around the pool, always able to get a sunbed. Pool bar - drinks - good selection - prices on a par or cheaper than what was on offer in Katelios itself. Food - was good - cooked fresh - never had a bad meal/item of food - and prices again very reasonable. We enjoyed having a couple of drinks at the bar at around 8 p.m. (it shuts at 9 p.m.) - we more often than not had the bar to ourselves - we were surprised that more guests didn't make use of the bar at this time as it was a lovely peaceful setting - but guess they had their drinks a bit earlier. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. Liked it so much have booked to go again next year.

We spent 2 weeks here our first package holiday in many years and first time on Kefalonia. We’d picked these apartments based on the reviews and they lived up to expectations.
The location is excellent just a short walk to the beach and tavernas on the front of Katelios. You can also walk up the small hill to other restaurants such as Jerrys Elliniko (definitely worth a visit) and the bakery. Only comment is the road can be a little busy at times and it’s best to have a torch to walk home at night.
The pool area is lovely with no real competition for beds. The pool was also fairly quiet and it was good to go in for a dip as it was especially hot when we were there. There are cabanas to rent for €10 per day but they weren’t for us. Personally feel better quality beds might be better and larger parasols but this is probably being slightly picky.
There is a bar (open 10 - 6) serving drinks and cocktails with a snacks menu which was adequate. Over 14 days this could be a bit limited. Cristos and Stavros were both friendly and helpful and very professional.
The accommodation was to a good standard. We had a double bed which was so comfortable. Air con was good and very welcome. There was a bath with a shower which was good and powerful. Towels were good size and quality. The rooms were cleaned regularly and beds changed weekly with clean towels 2-3 times per week. We had a ground floor apartment with terrace looking on to the garden. It was very quiet and peaceful. There is a built in kitchen area hidden behind bifolding doors. It doesn’t lend itself to gourmet cooking with only a one ring stove which had to be plugged in in the bedroom but it didn’t bother us. There was a kettle toaster and fridge with a good range of crockery and utensils.
We would definitely return here again in the future and Aligis Studios offer really good accommodation for the money.

Lovely clean apartments , not much in the way of a kitchen, one portable electric camping stove, a toaster and a kettle . We were a family of 3 ( 1 adult and 2 teenagers) the single/sofa bed was very hard, we asked for a mattress topper , some more cushions or a proper mattress but unfortunately they couldn’t assist . We managed by putting a lilo on the bed to make it more comfortable.. The main double bed was very comfy and the electric shutters were brilliant in keeping the light out in the morning. Air con was free and worked very well.
The pool area was brilliant, a decent sized pool, fantastic views of the mountains and plenty of sunbeds, a relaxed atmosphere, no loud music. The pool staff could have been more friendly and welcoming. At times I felt they really did not enjoy their jobs, especially the 2 men - the one even said ‘ what’s in it for me? ‘ when I asked for a bottle of water, however it was extremely hot and I doubt anyone wanted to work in the heat. It did put us off using the pool bar so we made sure we had plenty of water from the local supermarket where the staff were very friendly - especially Ellen and Maria in the mini market.
There are a few cats which come along to be fed and fussed , not everyone likes them but we loved them!
Overall we had a great holiday and in the main enjoyed the time at the apartments, however we would have loved to have felt the same Greek hospitality in Aligis studios that we had at the restaurants in town and in the shops.

First of all the location is pretty good - about 1 kilometres and 10 minutes from the village and beach with plenty of restaurants and bars. Our favourite being delicious and cozy. The pool area had plenty of comfy loungers and unusually no race to save them in the morning. The pool is lovely but quite deep. The hotel was very green and picturesque with a bar with a yummy range of snacks, meals and drinks. As a small quiet hotel it felt extremely relaxing and comfortable. The room was kept relatively clean but not knew bedding and towels every day. Aircon was great and was constantly able to keep the room cool. The self catering Kitchenette was very small and could do with an improvement if you wanted to make any meals. We loved the hotel despite all of this and will definitely return! If you do go we would 100% recommend the bakery close by for really delicious pastries

Just come back from a 2 week stay here. A lovely clean and tidy base to explore Kefalonia. The accommodation is basic but is very clean , tidy and modern the room had all the things that we needed as a family of 3.
The grounds are well kept and with fruit growing on the trees what more can you ask for.
We didn’t spend a lot of time around the pool area as we were with a 5 year boy who likes to shout and play and much rather explore the beautiful beaches but when we did we all throughly enjoyed and felt we could always relax and wind down with a beer and wine even though it did feel like we cleared the area a few times when we arrived at the pool, we broke the relaxing silence of some.
I would definitely stay here again.

In my opinion to enjoy this beautiful island to the max get a hire a car, get about and explore, the roads and drivers aren’t as bad as people make out and you can find some fantastic beaches with a little walk involved too which are secluded, clean and where the waters are blue and clear. There is parking at the hotel.
There’s also a fishing trip from Katelios harbour run by dimitris and Efi which is a fantastic day out . The fish caught in the lines is cooked on the boat and served for lunch with homemade wine it was absolutely beautiful a fantastic day all round and very intimate.
You can walk into the village within 5 minutes and very easy but note it is dark for about 3-400 metres so a light to make you visible id advise.
The restaurants in the village are great, Maria’s was our fave as was a takeaway from tsabos when we couldn’t be asked to get dressed up and walk down after a day of galavanting.
I think this hotel would be better suited to the older adults and couples as opposed to family’s but it’s just a place to lay your head at the end of the day and a lovely place it is.

We booked a last minute holiday to these studios, mostly based on previous reviews, and were not disappointed. Lovely big, clean rooms. We had a ground floor room, which had a lovely outside seating area. The pool area is just lovely and relaxing, no issues getting a sun bed. Drinks and snack bar prices were good , compared to what you pay outside the resort, Katelios is a lovely little village, the nearest shops and bars are about a 10 minute stroll. The staff were lovely. We would recommend these studios.

Fantastic place to stay in Katelios. Chose Aligis Studios based on reviews, and it didn't disappoint. The quality of the room and hotel for the price was amazing.

My room come with small kitchenette (OK for quick breakfast / small meals, not for full self-catering), a double bed and one small bed, and a balcony. Was spotlessly clean, sheets changed daily, and was stylish and comfortable.

The pool was great, and plenty of sunloungers and seating around the pool. Beatiful views of the mountains around, while the grounds were tidy and well looked after. Breakfast, snacks and drinks available at reasonable prices.

Was a 5 to 10 minute walk to Katelios beach, and less than 5 minutes from several shops, including a fantastic bakery.

Hard to find any fault with it. Thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would happily stay again.

I read the reviews before booking and was impressed however I clearly am of a different option to others after staying here
The rooms are well equipped don’t get me wrong and could do with a spruce up but the outdoor furniture is very tired and uncomfortable.
I never saw the pool cleaned while here and it had mud in the bottom and bits of debris.
Chris was very attentive and helpful which was a blessing given the fact I probably wouldn’t stay here again
The studios are situated next to a small holding with cocks and hens nearby which begin crowing from around 3am some be warned you will have a patchy nights sleep if your a light sleeper and finally the rooms all have an emergency light above the main entrance that doesn’t go out so your bedroom is illuminated green all night too

We specifically chose the Aligis Studios for their position within Katelios. They are quietly located about 10 minutes from the seafront for the evening restaurants. The studios are modern and well furnished although the kitchen area, hidden behind folding doors when not utilised, is a bit on the small side. A single moveable electric hob is available for heating a pot or pan if required. The kettle and toaster work really well. There is adequate storage space for clothes and the bathroom, yes BATHroom, complete with a good shower are excellent. The king size bed was very comfortable too!
There are plenty of sun beds, although they are a bit uncomfortable, available round the large pool where you can go for a swim or cool down under the hot sun.
Chris the manager is functional, efficient and accommodating without getting socially involved with the guests.
Undoubtedly we will return at some time or other but like to move about a bit and have already booked another location in Greece for next year prior to our visit to fabulous Katelios.

We’ve stayed both ground floor and upper floor your get the usual flying bugs if you leave your patio doors open but nothing of the crawling verity also you can have a metal shutter down on a night and leave the patio doors open which is cooler if you don’t like air conditioning on all night
