Recently returned from our 1st visit to Villa Dei Sogni stayed in room 26, though there are only 9 rooms, where we were staying on a room only basis. We loved our stay and wish to say a huge thank you to Sofia who looked after us royally and who is rightly proud of this lovely property.

A quiet oasis set in mature gardens, our room was large and airy, with probably one of the best bathrooms we have experienced in Greece, it too was large and had a shower cubicle with sliding doors which meant the bathroom did not flood when used.

For a 2 star rating this offesr so much, bathrobe and slippers, free safe, pool towels, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, complimentary soap, shampoo, creams etc, kettle, mugs, wine glasses.

Our room was serviced daily and towels, bedding changed approx every 4 days,

We had a large balcony with teak round table and chairs, which caught the sun from early morning and shady late afternoon.

There is a beautiful pool, which is large with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, although the rooms face the pool, the trees in the garden screen it offering privacy when sitting on your balcony. There is also a poolbar which is open till 5:30pm and Sofia also offers a buffet style breakfast.

Villa Dei Sogni, is set back from the road, surrounded by patches of rural land, with chickens, cockrels, goats, sheep and sometimes a barking dog, none of which disturbed us.

It is an easy stroll to a supermarket and a taverna, a slightly longer walk downhill brings you to the seafront and majority of tevernas.

Would we stay again? Of course, in a heartbeat.

Thank you once again Sofia.

Just returned from 10 nights at Villa Dei Sogni which is located in a quite side road approximately 10 minutes walk from the main strip and beach We stayed in room 12 on the ground floor a large spacious room with a large terrace which only gets the sun in the morning which was a blessing as it was in the 30's Bathroom with shower cubicle, plenty of hot water as only 9 rooms in hotel, There is a small fridge in the room, with ice block tray plus glasses also a kettle mugs tea and coffee, iron and ironing board. Our room was cleaned daily and bedding changed a couple of times during our stay. Two slight negatives for me are 1) the breakfast, very basic and doesn't change, no hot option apart from a hard boiled egg. 2) €5.50 -€4.50 for a large or small beer from the pool bar,
The pool area is beautiful, large pool for a small hotel lovely shrubs and flowers plenty of sunloungers and umbrellas and was never busy, beautiful backdrop, the whole resort is surrounded by mountains stunning, this was our second visit to Katelios. Sofia the manager of the hotel is very friendly and is about the hotel until about 5pm. There is a supermarket about 3 minute walk away and two tavernas within 5 minutes. Before travelling we had read some reviews about dog chicken and other animal noise, I can only comment on our experience and there was the odd dog bark, Cockerell crow and ginggle of goat bells but none of it spoilt the serenity of the setting of Villa Dei Sogni.

Sofia made us so welcome and the room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Lovely balcony. All in all great value. Breakfast is a basic cold buffet but adequate. Coffee and tea on tap as are fruit juices.
A very relaxing location, where the sound of song birds could easily be heard with traffic sounds only in the distance.
We will be back for sure.

Host was not on form compared with other reviews. The booking platform we used suggested breakfast was included but the host told us otherwise and made no attempt to address this confusion when we arrived. She made it our problem and nothing to do with her. Fortunately, there is a nice bakery within 5 minutes walk and a mini market, plus places by the nearby beach to eat. There was no information in the room about the area or their services so we didn't know where to leave dirty towels etc. When we purposely placed one hand towel on the floor to be replaced, it was folded up and put back on one of the beds! That made us wonder how clean other towels had been when we had found them folded in the same manner. An item went missing from the room and when we asked the owner to look into it, she seemed dismissive and reluctant. The item was found and returned with an apology note left by the cleaner but we mostly felt down by the owners communication again. There were a couple more interactions with her which were equally cold and we wished we had booked elsewhere as a result. Although the facilities were nice enough (pool and room), the customer service would make us avoid this place in future. There was a dirty and unsafe looking hammock and a hot tub with a dirty cover that, when I checked the website, was listed as an extra charge! In summary, we wouldn't recommend.

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful week at the Villa dei Sogni, such a quiet and beautiful setting. Sophia who runs the hotel is lovely and friendly and always around during the day if you need anything. Only 9 rooms so had pool to ourselves sometimes during the day. Pool area stunning with plenty of comfortable quality sun loungers. Pool bar open till 5pm everyday where you can get a beer or some lunch. Our room was big with four poster bed decorated and furnished to a high standard, not the usual basic accommodation you expect in Greece. Air con was £35 per week but was an absolute must as it was baking. Really enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of fruit, yoghurt, bread everything you would expect. 15 min walk to the beach and lots of bars and tavernas serving great food and cocktails, if you didn’t fancy the walk there are a couple of closer restaurants and supermarket 5 mins walk away. Would say for anyone with mobility issues it may not be as suitable as bit of a hill coming back. We had a great time and we will definitely be returning.

A superb location but not too far from the beach and restaurants. A small hotel but providing large rooms, exceptionally clean, regularly serviced. The owner Sophia was friendly and welcoming. She always made herself available and accommodated non-standard requests. I can whole heartedly recommend this Villa.
I was really happy with the breakfast but i imagine some may find it limited - it is a Greek 'continental' breakfast - there's no scope for the 'full English'.
Excellent pool and lounging area (great sun loungers!!!).

Hidden little gem, with amazing owners!
Only 9 rooms so the pool is like your own private villa. Sea water pool too with only 5% chlorine! No fighting for sunbeds!
So clean, and the breakfast although not for everyone was an added bonus and kept us full for hours after! Pastries, boiled eggs, ham, cheese , fruit , yoghurt, an ample breakfast !
A bakery nearby and a couple of tavernas.
Or Walk to the sea, about 15mins , where you’ll find lots of tavernas.
Quirky and Greek but so clean and cute.
The bed was amazingly comfy.
So nice as Mountain View’s all round, it’s like lying in a pool in the Lake District but with the Greek heat ! 🔥🤣🇬🇷
All in all an amazing holiday, but don’t tell everyone!
Sophia and her husband run it. She is an amazing lady who cannot do enough for you!

We were warmly welcomed to the hotel on arrival. Lovely pool. Large bedrooms and the standard of cleaning was excellent, the cleaner was always charming and helpful. Breakfast was repetitive and we felt there was no effort invested. We would be happy to pay more to get fresh bread/fruit etc and more imaginative food.

Incredibly peaceful place set back from the road and lots of space. Unfortunately this peace was spoiled by the constant use of a mobile phone in the pool area by management.

Hotel due to close in October and we felt end of season was very much happening during our stay.

Have just arrived back from 2 weeks here, it is one of the most beautiful, peaceful, tranquil places we have ever been to. We loved the continental breakfast to start our day. The fact there were free sunloungers round the pool all day, no need to reserve and it was never packed as there are only 9 rooms. It was like having your own villa as we often had pool to ourselves. Sophia was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Greek tavernas and the beach are just a 15 walk but we hired a quad bike to zip around for a few days and see the island. Our room was massive compared to other rooms we’ve stayed in. Sitting in the pool with Mountain View’s every day, we arrived home so relaxed! We are definitely coming back. Thank you sophia for such a wonderful holiday in a beautiful setting!

Brilliant place for a relaxing holiday. Lovely, quiet setting with mountain views, huge rooms cleaned daily and each with a terrace or balcony, fantastic pool with SO many sunbeds and NEVER busy, Sofia who runs the place is a gem and it's only a 15 min walk to Katelios village and its myriad beach-side restaurants and bars (food recommendations: Cozy and Marias, bar recommendation: Nemesis). It's true what others say that breakfast is basic and the beds are quite hard but we didn't care - we breakfasted well and slept like babies. I expect we'll be back!

We asked this question as I wanted to be on a higher floor (not ground floor) as we were 3 women travelling alone, but we were told we could not choose a floor. On arrival we were on the ground floor :) but it was fine - and cooler than other floors (though there is aircon) and we had a fantastic holiday
