We were very lucky to experience the resort again exclusively, two dream villas next to each other. Despite the new normal that they have implemented, less contact with staff from welcome/ arrival experience up to complete check in at the villa we feel it was still a very complete experience with no hiccups at all. The villas were newly renovated, the linens, the comfort of their bed, the walk-in bathroom and closet with their upsize bath amenities were impressive and immaculate. They were also able to maintain the total cleanliness of the resort despite the ongoing pandemic, we feel very secure and safe. The floating breakfast by the pool which was massive with selection of Filipino, Continental and American breakfast is something worth to experience and exceptionally delicious! Despite having no beach access, this resort stands out in terms of product and service, a must experience when everything goes back to normal!

sight, ambience l, great atmosphere, serene, quiet
and away from the hustle and bustle from the
previous property prior which we stayed in.

We were welcomed upon arrival by Pearl, the Resort
Manager, being offered with welcome drinks and
cold towels from the staff.

Though we were a bit early upon our arrival and
decided to take 3 rooms for my family, Pearl was able
to arrange 1 room to keep our items and preparing
the other 2 rooms.

The property has a calm and serene atmosphere comparable to a 5-Star property, with great hospitable service from Pearl, Gwen, Uriel just to
name a few and all staff of BE Grand Resort in Bohol.

The room was comfortable, with a bathtub, standing
shower, bathrobes and flip flop slippers provided
and a view of the swimming pool. The property
provides game room, karaoke room, kayaking and
SPA for all guests . The property does offer suites,
villas for couples and family within the property

As a Chef Concierge in my own property,
recommendations are being made for my guests
within the property for various outlets for dining,
shopping malls within the vicinity and various places
of interest. In addition, recommendations are also
being made to our guests if so required to the resorts
in the addition countries like Bali in Indonesia,
Phuket or Pattaya in Thailand, Maldives and
properties in Cebu, Boracay, Palawan and Bohol.

With our experience in BE Grand Resort in Bohol, it is rest assured recommendations will be made to my
family, friends and guests to the BE Grand properties
where available.

Special thanks once again to PEARL, THE RESORT MANAGER and all staff for providing great hospitality and a wonderful stay for me and my family making it
a memorable experience.

Kudos to everyone and do stay safe always. We look forward to our next stay at BE Grand Resort in Mactan, Cebu and rest assured that we will be back
to Bohol in the near future.

The hotel staff are very friendly.
Quiet and peaceful.
Breakfast is also not bad for the price.
The size of the pool was great.

The first room we were assigned was in the worst condition, so we told the receptionist and they changed the room. they were very friendly Except it doesn't have a bottle opener. Housekeeping was very satisfactory.
The aging of the room is in progress.
The view from the room was so-so.

Wi-fi was slow. The air conditioner and refrigerator are not very cool. TV reception is not good. Most of this is an island, so if the hotel takes care of it, guests will love it.

Also, if you make a hillside road next to the sea that goes from the Be-grand resort to Alona Beach via Khalifayan Beach, the value of the resort will increase. Everything has a way to come true. Wasn't there a saying called?

There is only one smoking area, which is inconvenient.
The shuttle bus did not run on 2 days out of 4 days.

The hotel itself is absolutely amazing, the staff are wonderful and very friendly. The only complaint we have about our stay is the awful service at the boathouse restaurant we visited on site. The nice bottle of white wine we ordered hadn’t been chilled and put it in an ice bucket on our table. Then we ordered the Chefs Wagyu beef special which came with 5 small sides, and for 4000 pesos (£75) each - we were expecting something amazing. The beef came out cold, which we sent back to the chef who sent it back to our table with a hot plate for us to heat it ourselves. So our expensive, medium rare steak then turned into a well done steak after we had to grill it to be at an edible temperature. The sides we had were also cold - the broccoli and cauliflower were undercooked, the corn on the cob was dry and the salad was a lettuce leaf and a tomato.
After we didn’t eat more than half the food they refused to give us more than 20% off the meal. I’m not usually one to complain but this was absolutely unacceptable and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!

My family of four along with brother and his wife and one year old son all stayed at BE Grand originally with plans for a one week stay. We decided shortly after that we would extend and stay at resort the whole duration of our time in Bohol, while we caught up with family on our Balikbayan return from Australia.

We were treated with utmost hospitality from all of the team at BE Grand including the resort management. The team were always available and went the extra mile to ensure our time there was memorable. They even remembered each of 3 childrens names and greeted them and us adults every morning. Such a lovely touch, especially for our childrens first time visiting their roots in the Philippines.

We also upgraded for one night in the Grand Villa to experience the service which true to their slogan was beyond the expected. Our Villa Host wrote the most beautiful note and desert was delivered to the room, along with a welcome platter and fresh coconuts! The bedroom and lounge open right up onto your own private Lanai
(deck) fitted with full size outdooor dining table and pool lounges fronting the Lagoon Pool which is exclusive to the Villa guests.

During our stay only one of the 5 restaurants were open, however this did not worry us as the food was amazing and again the service was exceptional, not to mention the cocktails. The buffet breakfast was also off the charts with a wide range for everyone in our group. Much loved and appreciated.

The pool was always a hit with the kids, and it was attended by very polite and respectful gentlemen. Being presented with pool towels upon exiting the pool. We even noticed one attendent taking a group shot of people in the pool for them. Such a lovely gesture and saved their phone from getting wet.

Our family also went on an Island hopping and snorkelling adventure with the lovely in house Scotty's dive shop. Going to Balicasag and Virgin Island sand bar. Which was a great day out and fun had by all. Departing right from the private jetty and ocean pool at the beach end of the resort.

Alona Beach is a bit of a walk, but a quick tricycle ride, which the resort were more than accommodating at organising these to come and collect us. Such convenience. It was actually a positive having a bit of distance from Alona, as it makes the resort more exclusive and private. They also arranged a van for us to get back in to Tagbilaran for some shopping and a ride to the airport for our departure back to Australia. Upon which we were sent of from Managent who even provided us with BE Grand souvenirs. We will definitely be staying here on our next return.

To all the Team at BE Grand a Dako Salamat for going above and beyond, for anyone planning to stay in Panglao or visit Bohol. Don't waste your time or money looking elsewhere.

This was a wonderful place for our family vacation. We stayed in a deluxe ocean view room. Kids loved the kid pool. The bridge restaurant was great for western foods, where our kids can get their nuggets. The monkey bar served great grilled food. We really like the special where they serve an array of food on a platter. Breakfast is amazing. I appreciate that you can book a tour with the hotel. It takes away the worry of not having enough cash. It is nice to be able to play on the beach and use one of the cabanas. We chose to take a tricycle to Dumaluan beach which is so much better than Alona.

We stayed for 3 nights, pickup at the port and transfer to the resort was perfect. Resort was very quiet, only 30 rooms of the 208 occupied. The Deluxe Room was a good size and nice and clean, the disappointment was the balcony faced a jungle. Their 4 room descriptions all mention ocean or pool view, no mention of the jungle view. The staff were very helpful and the resort provided my wife with a small cake on the occasion of her birthday, a very nice gesture. The breakfast was very Asian oriented with very little change daily. I found very little that suited me from the UK. We did not eat lunch or evening meals there but I did go to the Monkey Bar on the beach thinking I would have a beer but found the 280 peso charge for SM Pilsen or Light too expensive and left.

This place is heaven on earth. I stayed in the villa with the family and we enjoyed it so much. The villa is very spacious and clean, plus there's a very nice common pool around the villas. The food hall has a great breakfast buffet and the dinner menu is very nice too with good price point. I highly recommend the halo halo for those who would like to test out a local dessert. The hotel has a large pool between the resort building and the food hall, which leads to the pricate beach and beach bar area. The views is absolutely impeccable. But above all, the best thing about the hotel is the hospitality. The villas come with a personal butler who takes care of your reservation, local transportation and tour programs. The room service comes by almost twice a day, they're very quick (plus they always leave a snack/dessert when you come back to your room after a long day). The hotel grounds are arranged so nicely and with great taste in design. It was such a pleasure to stay for vacation.

On March 20, 2024, our junior's ball was held at Be Grand Hotel. I can say that our school made an excellent decision for choosing the said hotel. First of all, the area was spacious which was able to accommodate large number of people, considering that we're approximately 200 plus in total. They have an aesthetic place with very calming atmosphere, from the ceiling down to walls and floor design. Additionally, I noticed that they are very particular with the cleanliness of their place as observed in every part of the area, especially in their restrooms. I really liked the fresh smell and also the designs of their mirrors which is very suitable for mirror shots. Furthermore, all their staff were very accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were taken care of. They are very smiling, well-groomed, and approachable. I also like how organized they were while serving our foods and attentively handled our concerns. The meal courses were delicious and well presented. What I like the most was their main course due to its very unique and well-balanced taste. With that being said, I would rate them 10/10 because of their high quality service, food, and accomodation. For those who are looking for a decent place for their events, Be Grand Hotel should be top of your choice. You can go to their official Facebook page and see other services they could offer.

We booked an Oceanic Suite and in fairness the room was very nice, clean and as advertised.
Generally the staff were very polite and mostly helpful.
However with the exception of the Monkey bar the food options and quality was not very good at the hotel. In particular food was often cold at breakfast, no in room dining and a they menu options limited.
The housekeeper was very inconsistent in the timing and quality of how the room was cleaned and amenities re stocked. This however we believe more to do with staff shortages and or poor management planning that individual staff performance.

Reception services also were inconsistent and on one occasion forgetting to make cancellations at the spa when requested.
The spa itself was also of an average standard and we hoped for better of an in house facility.

The “in-house diving” services were extremely poor considering pre arrangements being made.
