Relax and unwind at our serene and tranquil family owned Southern Alp’s Park Lodge, located just on the edge of the rural town of Harihari, West coast NZ. We have 3 beautiful guest suites available, all inclusive of a continental breakfast. Only an hour’s drive to the world famous southern glaciers in Franz Josef.

My husband and I stayed at Southern Alps Park (or Westholme Lodge as it is now known) whilst touring the South Island of New Zealand only booking on the day we arrived. What a haven it was! After a long journey and unable to find anywhere to eat en route, Stacey whisked up the most delicious evening meal on our arrival - a real bonus! The room we stayed in was a deluxe room with a spa bath (and very roomy separate shower) and was beautifully decorated. It also had a lounge and patio doors into the fantastic rose garden. All areas of the B&B were immaculately clean and Stacey was a fabulous hostess. Breakfast consisted of all sorts of home made goodies, cereals, yogurt, bread and eggs etc and was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t fault the hospitality and comfort at Westholme Lodge and would highly recommend it.

A lovely place to stay - a luxurious room, with toiletries etc. The hosts were friendly and the place was spotless, with beautiful furniture. An evening meal was offered which was a boon as there are few eateries around. A great find!!

We stayed here on Saturday night and it was such a wonderful stay right from the start. The apartment was roomy and so clean. Stacey our host was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was yummy muesli. The only fault I can think of was that the stairs to upstairs had 2 odd height steps that caught us out each time lol. All part of the character/charm of the place!
